It was crazy busy and I ended up "making my own parking space". Beyond pool on Friday nights they have poker night which was drawing a huge crowd. There were tons of tables of people playing poker - way more than people playing pool. I met my friend out and their friends so they had already settled into a margarita Patron tree which was so adorable. We opted to get the large pizza and it was a decent medium crust. The crust is from scratch so points for that as well as the ample toppings. I thought the prices were a bit on the high side especially since they are on the south side and not downtown. I thought that $30 for a pizza was a little much and a cocktail at $10.50 was more expensive than places by my house close to the city. Service can be spotty but once we got our waitress she was very pleasant and kept coming back to check on us. We did have the bean dip with chips and I have to say that was favorite part of the meal. It was definitely worth coming back for the dip!

From the outside it is so bland and you are truly unsure if you are walking into an abandoned building or a crappy towny bar. Once you enter, it may take your eyes a moment to adjust if you are coming in from a bright sunny day. Foundation Bar has super low lighting, very moody. There is ample seating and a few different seating options; bar stools, booths, high top tables. Seat yourself. To order drinks you walk up to the bar. There is not table service. The decorations here are great! There are some really incredible pieces and collections! Some I would love to have if I could find them. This is a very laid back atmosphere, very chill not loud or overbearing so relax and enjoy the ambiance. I believe my drink was called El Diablo and was very good. I could've stayed here for hours! Drinks were strong, authentic, and very reasonably priced. I loved the mystery rum mixes and how every drink is so different. The service superb, fast, pleasant, efficient! The fish and fries are definitely delicious and direct from the fry vat. Almost need to serve it with a warning that the meal has not had time to cool off so be careful taking that first bite. Speaking of first bites. Omggg over the last 60+ years this couple both born and raised Wisconsinite have eaten our fair share of fish fries. This establishment has nailed it!!!!! The fish is lightly battered, the batter is not the same old recipe that the other establishments in S/E Wisconsin serve. The Cue Club has a secret recipe It has a little touch of Cajun seasonings. It is so amazingly delicious you don't need the tartar sauce to hide any imperfections. You will definitely enjoy eating this fish fry just as served. For those of you who might not have been here before or don't realize it is now under new ownership. There is plenty to do here besides eat and drink. Large TV monitors everywhere! Numerous pool tables, bocci ball courts, corn hole tournaments, poker tables certain nights, karaoke nights, darts, shuffle boards, plus large selection of live band nights. The list of fun activities is endless. The only thing missing is you meeting your friends here for your next night out on the town. Just down the road from the Waukesha County airport. Don't be shy Come and enjoy the food the fun and refreshments Bon appétit

How are local people not talking more about this spot?! What a hidden gem! 1st and Bowl is unique "sports bar" with so many fun things to do for people of all ages. The gaming areas included separate spaces for kids and adults, like the football bowling & connect-4 basketball. There were also pickleball courts, cornhole boards, billiards tables, golf simulators, lots of screens with different live games on, and in my opinion, the creme de la creme: the Nerf Wars arena. Lights off, black lights on, all out fun! I haven't had that much excitement playing with Nerf guns in years! Some other things observed but didn't get to experience were the full bar and a full kitchen --both looked clean, well stocked, and ready for orders. Lots of comfortable seating, tables, and little private "rooms" around the courts to chill in while playing/eating. All of the separate areas looked very clean and organized, with clearly written game instructions for the various games visible by each court. From what I saw and experienced on the day I went, I'm pleasantly impressed with this place. If you're looking for a new place to have a kid's or adult's birthday celebration, a place for a first date (or 2nd or 3rd!), something to do on the weekend with your kids, a place to hang out casually with friends, family, coworkers, literally whatever the occasion -- than look no further than 1st and Bowl. This venue is top notch!

The space is available for both kids and adult parties, as well as corporate events and fundraisers. Adult parties, depending on size, run from $250-$760. Kids parties from $195-$500. Food and drinks were basic but good. The space is rather rudimentary, and on really cold winter days gets a bit chilly. Still, the open spaces are well organized and set up. A nice place for friends and families to spend time being active inside when being outside is not an option.
