Their current winter "Port No 6" menu has drinks starting at $12 but you can tell they put a lot of care into each creation. We stopped by on a Wednesday before 6pm and they did offer $2 off tap beers so I got a zombie dust tulip for $5. Not bad! Staff are friendly but things may move a little slower due to the care they put into their cocktails. This is definitely reminiscent of island vibes. Wait for a good drink and relax at the bar or outer patio (which has heaters in the winter). Street parking is pretty easy to snag, even around dinner time.

Our waiter was very attentive. We ordered a bottle of wine to share, and I did have a cocktail as well. Their cocktail menu is put together very well. They have an option for everyone. I ordered the chilean sea bass. The parmesan crust on it was perfect. For some reason I was picturing a more crispy hard crust, but it was nice and soft. The fish itself was perfectly cooked. We opt'ed out of dessert, but maybe next time! This was a special experience.

We were eating outside, and we barely saw her while we were waiting. My husband eventually had to go inside to check with someone, and it took another 15 minutes before we finally got an update. The manager did make an effort to make things right. He took $20 off our bill and gave us free dessert, which we really appreciated. That said, I think we'll be back. It's a beautiful place with good food, and we really enjoyed what we had. The service just needs some work. Our waitress was very sweet, but seemed a little timid and didn't check on us much. Even getting drink refills took quite a while. Overall, we had a good experience despite the wait, and hopefully the service improves because we'd definitely like to come back!

Their location, situated at the end of the strip, made finding parking a breeze. The staff was helpful in the selection process and came back to the table to ensure everyone was enjoying it. Even after we settled on a Boudreaux Blanc, the staff, hearing I wasn't the biggest fan of whites, came back to offer me a sample of a red he thought I may enjoy. He was 100% right. They have ample outdoor seating which we utilized this evening. Luckily this evening, the villages 4th of July festivities were also happening so we had some live music to enjoy as well. Finally, while they put together a tasty charcuterie board themselves, they also team up with other village establishments to offer more food options that can be delivered right to your table at Vintage 38. Tonight we needed something a little more so went with a pizza. It's a great option to enjoy a perfect evening in the Greendale village.

We stopped here after dinner, so we stuck mostly with the cocktails. Unfortunately, nothing on the seasonal menu really stuck out to me. I stuck with the "traditional" cocktails (spicy watermelon bubblegum, and then banana daiquiri). Hubs went for the halo halo food (which was so cute! All the typical ingredients but served in cubist fashion), and the paired drink. The paired drink was supposed to have different layers of flavor, but they all mixed together quite a bit. Tasty, just not the "layered" experience we thought. I think they almost do themselves a disservice comparing themselves to the aviary - that is a crazy high bar to meet. Granted, maybe we would have been more impressed if we had more of the seasonal cocktails despite them not seeming interesting? Probably wouldnt go out of my way to go here again, but it is a cool vibe and the cocktails were good.

I love all the air plants they have and the dark interior really does make it more of a "classy dive" as their name suggests. We came here for a Sunday lunch and to catch the Brewers game. They had a three dollar special on domestics when we went, which was cool. Our server was nice and our orders came out promptly. The food was absolutely delicious. I was blown away by it actually. When I go to dive bars, I don't have the highest expectations for the food because usually the food is mediocre. However, at this bar, it really blew me away. I had the ODB smashburger with regular fries. The burger was juicy and flavorful with such a fluffy, soft bun. I love that they put crispy onion straws in it for a little crunch. The fries are steak fries. They had some beer batter type of coating that made them so crispy and yummy. I'm glad I stumbled upon this place. I look forward to coming back to catch another game and eat their delicious food!
