Getting back to hair, Michaela was very personable, funny, nice, and professional. The experience was nice and it feels like you're just chatting with an old friend. Honestly I probably chat too much but the story of my life LOL. They take you back to the hair washing area which is quiet and Serene, ready for relaxation. They also offer you and I mask type essential oil situation where you can pick different scents. After your hair is done washing you get processed and then you go back to your sitting area. It took a little bit to get my hair to the desired look but Michaela and the salon made it very easy to work with and get the results we were hoping for. On September 25, 2025, I received an email reminding me of my appointment scheduled for September 27, 2025. Immediately after receiving this email, I called the salon to cancel my appointment since there was no option to do so through the email itself. I called three times without an answer and ultimately left a voicemail requesting cancellation. Despite this, I received an email today stating that my card on file would be charged for missing the appointment. I promptly called your salon to clarify the situation and explained that I had canceled by voicemail on September 25. The person who answered the phone was dismissive, and when I spoke with the owner, I was made to feel as though the responsibility fell on me for not replying to the email or a text message. To clarify: I do not receive text messages from your salon. I did not reply to the email because I had already called and left a voicemail. It is your responsibility to check and respond to client voicemails. Additionally, I called today at 11:29 a.m. and was told I would receive a call back within 30 minutes. That call never came. This lack of professionalism is unacceptable. I respectfully request a full refund of the cancellation charge. I hope you will honor this request and reconsider how communication and customer service are handled in the future.

I had an appointment with Will and he was beyond professional, competent, and wonderful to be around. I was given refreshments as well as joyful conversation. Will asked me questions throughout my salon session and ensured I was involved every step of the way, even making sure my part was how I liked it with gel. If you're looking for a haircut or other services please come here. My mother has also come to this location and she received the best haircut she's ever gotten. Sad to say, many years after my original review, after my hairdresser Makenna left Mark Christopher…read more(and I followed her, until she moved away) I decided to give the salon another try earlier this year. Unfortunately, my previous (very positive) experienced did not hold up. The salon ambience has been stripped... it felt very middle of the road decor-wise, loads of product shelves and no posh salon vibe remaining. I took a chance on a stylist who essentially ruined my hair with color. I've never had such a traumatic color job... the application of the foils and the color was insane - foils scrunched every which way, no rhyme or reason... she was so rough on my head when she removed the foils, that it actually hurt. But it was the result of the color that actually had me in tears. I had to go to another salon to have it fixed, and when i tried to get a refund for it from Mark Christopher they gave me a bit of a runaround for about two months before I finally got refunded. I don't love giving poor public reviews but sadly this place seems to have had a fall from grace from its original top salon status.

Linda is a master of her craft, teaches you what works for YOUR hair (not some prescriptive method), and does it with a smile. My hair cuts also last months at a time and grow out well. I told the stylist I do not want to have to style my hair regularly so it needs to fall under without using a round brush. I have had this style many times before without any issues and for the first few days it fell nicely. But after a few days, after I had left the country, it completely flips up and it looks cut all uneven. My hair is a complete disaster now. The sylist (senior!) spent about 5 minutes cutting it dry (which was a first for me) so perhaps that is not surprising. Going to have to find someone in Europe to hopefully fix it so I can look somewhat professional. One of the worst haircuts of my life, especially for the price.
