Soup of the day, pinot noir, and a digital menu. You can see the tables for 2 are small.

"The Place" has a cool name...Let's talk what matters...covid safety. *They social distance the tables. *The staff has masks. *NO hand sanitizer at the seat unlike the restaurant across the street. (They may have had a hand sanitizer station inside but I did not see it as we were in the outdoor seating and the waitress did not mention it). STAFF/SEATING/PARKING: *The wait staff is nice but seems slightly overwhelmed by outdoor and indoor seating. *It has a parking lot, so it is a breeze to park and free. (I did not take many photos as there are so many people from various restaurants sitting on the strip and I did not know when one section ended and another began). We had a reservation got our seat and the rest of the outdoor section was full...so it seems popular. *The service took a while to even get the chance to order. *The waitress filled the waters again when handing us the bill which seemed like an after thought. BATE & SWITCH: *I went for their lobsterfest which was advertised on facebook but they cancelled it the afternoon of! (We even called that morning of to see if it was happening and they said "yes..." so this was disappointing. FOOD: *The soup of the day was lobster bisque and it was everything I could want from a soup. Worth it!!! *The menu was digital so I had to quickly glance at my phone and ordered thai chili wings when it was revealed lobsterfest was closed. The wings were good but not the best I have had. The celery and dressing on the side left me wanting. (Maybe the plate was too big which lessened the presence of the food). *My friend loved their lettuce wrap and to be honest it was much better then the wings. They thought the thai sauce on the wings was good but we both have had better wings. *We had a glass of wine each. It was ok but not memorable. *They brought out the wrong size soup (gave me a small instead of a large) and to fix this they brought out the right size and did not charge for the mistake. The 2nd bowl had very little lobster in it...This shows that people's experiences will be different even if they order the same thing. The soup tasted great in both but the more protein the better the price. *I did not go to the bathroom so I can not speak to that. The place felt clean though. My rating: 3/5 To be honest I have had much better dining experiences at TGIF. I would only go to a place like this if you are in the area and want to pay more for a cool name. (BTW: The name could also cause confusion when meeting up). I have eaten at better non chain establishments in the area that were worlds better. Some of these places even share the same parking lot with "The Place". "The Place" probably works best for lunch. Edit: I went back for drinks and had some bar food to snack on. The quesadilla was the stand out of all the bar food. The inside environment feels precovid as everyone is sitting at the bar without masks or dining without masks. Or smoking outside without masks but don't worry they make you wear a mask when traveling to the bathroom. The bar was not social distanced inside so we sat at a table and had a good time.

Nanuet NY's The Place is a square, glass walled window watering hole. There are TV's for football and news and plenty of beers on tap. Other pubs and restaurants in this dining nook had outdoor tables/seats under awnings - but not The Place.. Inside some tables were skipped for social space. The bar area was tight, people sat quite close and ate, drank. Leaving the door open, made the joint cold though (don't do it in Winter). Statewide New York beer selection like Winter Wheats and Saranac Lake and a few craft brews along with Stella, Coors, Bud, Sam. All in all a fun shop with bar food: pretzels and burgers and 'wiches. I'll return! Rebel review: 4

Go here if you want a throwback to college, loud music and ok food. Not a location where you come to have a conversation with someone. You can barely hear yourself think here. They were running some games with brunch when i was there, which is cool but it just got too political. No matter what party you support, let me please eat my food and leave without hearing some political garbage on a microphone. That being said, the food was ok. Honestly it lacked flavor for how much you're paying. I asked for a medium burger and got a well done. Overall staff were pretty friendly. Expect to pay about 25-30 per person for a burger and a appetizer.

The bottomless mimosas were amazing I will say that but the brunch food was not giving what was supposed to give I'm sorry but maybe fire your chief and get an authentic chef who cooks good food because the food was plain and overpriced. No flavor what so ever.

First impression walking in, the place is beatifully decorated. It is tasteful and elegant yet inviting and family friendly. My first stop was to the restroom and I gotta say, the place looked spotless which gives you a sense of confidence in the cleanliness of the environment. I also noticed that it is a very large and open space which would be a perfect venue to celebrate any occasion as a big group. When I walked in I noticed that it was a lively and warm ambiace tha makes you feel comfortable to be there. The food: The food was great! Very tasty and fresh. I had the big boy burger with sweet potato fries. The burger was delicious and tho I knew it included jalapeños, I was surprised at how spicy it was. When I looked, it had big pieces of jalapeños w some seeds. No wonder it was too hot, not the jar jalapeños. I took some of it out and enjoyed the whole thing. I didn't finish my fries because they were soggy. No crunch at all. My date on the other hand, ordered a churrasco with yuca fries. The bartender messed up his order and brought him what is called "Portuguesa Churrascaria" which includes grilled skirt steak, pork chop, chicken, and chorizo with moro rice and sweet plantains. Tho it was not what he ordered, he was glad they served him that. It was delicious. It was nicely seasoned, nicely plated and overall very satisfying. Big serving! The yuca fries was dissapointing as I was expecting more of the typical latin crunchy yuca fries where it is first boiled and then fried. This was more like yuca puree, breaded and fried...think mozzarella sticks. Overall this place is worth visiting. Bring your date, bring your friends, bring yo mama, bring your kids, impress your clients...whatever! just visit, you wont regret it. Staff, very friendly and attentive and Plenty of free parking outside!

Located in a small plaza with 7-11 and a few other small stores, we were greeted right away upon entering. There were a few customers but it was not packed which meant we got a booth, yay. The waiter informed us of the specials, most of which I hesitate to order at a diner: paella, octopus, steak, etc. The menu is plentiful with the usual items as well as more Spanish dishes like empanadas, Spanish breakfast, etc. The Italian vegetable panini with salad was not bad but it was odd that the salad had the same ingredients as the panini (sans portobellos), leaving the while dish feeling one note. The burger was the typical diner burger. Overall pricing was okay, given rising costs, though some of the entrees were $25-30+, which i wouldn't do. I wonder what the Spanish dishes would have tasted like because perhaps those are their stars. Service was attentive, though it felt like they were trying to make this more into an elevated experience vs. what it was. I did like the bathrooms a little better than other diners, and I felt pretty comfortable in the little restaurant space.

Got a triple-decker chicken cutlet sandwich, which was pretty good. Sister got a chicken and eggplant thing on a pita. Also OK. The portions were generous. The waffle and regular fries were standard diner fries, which is a good thing. Now for the chili. It is straight up marinara bolognese. I guarantee this is the exact same stuff they serve on spaghetti. They just throw some cheddar on it and serve it next to some chips. Pretty bad. Other than that, not bad. Again, should have gotten the omelet
