I was at a friends house and we got delivery for the NFL divisional championship games. Not sure what app was used for this but we got a Medium (12") 1 topping pizza with pepperoni and extra cheese and 10 wings (Mild) for $44.00. This was extremely expensive to me. The pizza sauce was quite tasty but the cheese does not stay on the pizza and definitely did not need to order extra cheese. I am glad that the crust is not 3" deep as the last time I had it, much more normal. The wings were tasty too and came with a ranch cup but you can tell they are oven baked and not fried as they were not crispy at all. I decided to try the pizza yesterday. I ordered online and picked it up. The counter person was taking a phone order so I waited a couple of minutes until he finished which wasn't a problem. He handed me the pizza stating what was supposed to be on it. That's it....no enjoy. no thank you, absolutely nothing which I really don't appreciate. It was pretty apparent that he either dislikes his job or wasn't trained better or both. As for the pizza, it was ok, certainly nothing extra. To make matters worse one of the toppings that I ordered and was charged for was not on the pizza. The other toppings were really skimpy to say the least, especially for a $32 pizza. All said, in my opinion, there are better options for what I call upscale pizza. The bread on this sandwich is slightly toasted, crispy, and crackle on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside, and tge made from scratch meatballs are incredible. I've been coming here for 2 years now. It's mine & Bijou's once a month spot. I love the crust. It's the perfect combination of chewy on the inside & crispy on the outside. The pizza sauce is perfect. I love their salad too. I hate the red peppers they have on it but you can modify it. They have the best Italian dressing for their salads imo. The fountain drinks are free & they have a complimentary beer keg in the fridge with frozen glasses in the freezer. It's a very small space but I love it. Pizza Guy is our favorite pizza in Dallas. I'll admit that I was skeptical, as the business is a bit hole-in-the-wall feeling. But damn. That pizza is really, REALLY good. We love the Classic Pepperoni - one of their signature pizzas. Besides the pizza, two other major highlights: one is online ordering. Just like all the major pizza chains, you can order online for pickup or delivery. Pizza Guy offers great coupons via email, too. Second, the beer fridge. There's nothing like a greasy pizza and some ice cold PBR. I didn't know I loved it so much until I had it. Since the pizza takes a little while to make, we love to order ahead, then dine-in with our pickup order while we enjoy some beer. As for the side items...we're not huge fans of the breadsticks or dessert options. But the salads have always been fresh and delicious! I wish they had more seating space inside. Anytime we dine in, even if we're the only people eating there, we feel a little cramped. My only other gripe is the price. For just a large pizza, with tip, we're looking at nearly $30 for delivery. That's a lot for a pizza. But.....it's so hard to have any other pizza once you've had Pizza Guy. I definitely recommend giving it a shot! read more

My hubby went to pick up the pizza and he mentioned to me that inside the pizza joint, they have a wall with history info of 1920's grandmothers recipes that are Sicilian.
