All that is fine but even stylists at Great Clips and Supercuts can do that! I need a stylist who can do emo haircuts and highlights in funky awesome colors. Li's Hair Salon was perfect. My hair is chestnut brown passed my shoulders. The stylist Ngan (pronounced Non) gave me 10 perfectly sized and positioned HOT PINK and pale pink peek-a-boo highlights. She knew where to make them wide and where on my head to make them narrow. Ngan listens and makes suggestions that truly made me believe this woman knows her stuff. She's not one of those stylists who talk but then can't perform...you know what I mean, we've all had those type of stylists before. Trust me when I say Ngan knows and does what she says! The salon has 2 very friendly stylists, Li and Ngan. Place is quiet, clean, organized, and spacious. They have standard pricing for haircuts but if you want something special, like me, it's best to go there for a consultation. My awesome pink highlights, trim, and style in total was less than what other salons charge for just highlights. Skill and great prices!

She completely ruined my mom's hair and gave her a tangy orange brassy color. We asked her to fix it. She put toner again and said that's the best she can do. Mind you multiple times including mid process she said she can do the inspiration picture. When I proceeded to tell her it's brassy and nothing like the picture, she said that's the best she can do and she missed dinner with her husband and kid - mind you while we are staring at my moms brassy ruined hair? Mind you I was there from 11:30 am until 5 pm and in the end she absolutely ruined my mom's hair and got it nowhere near the highlights she wanted. I gave her a piece of advice to next time refuse the service if she cannot do it. My mom paid over 200 for someone to play around and attempt to get the color she wanted. She then told us to leave and never come back again and started yelling and crashing out right after we paid. Absolutely disgusting. DO NOT COME HERE THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING! Absolutely disgusting people. DO NOT GO HERE. Also believe the other reviews when they say they're aggressive. They are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. Extremely low class behavior. Save your time, money, and energy. Most importantly save your hair.

This particular salon is the second that she has owned while I've known her, and this one she decorated herself. The decor isn't quite to my taste, but then again I'm male so decorating will never be my forte.... The joys of this salon and the people working there are too numerous to mention all of them so the following is just a few of the many positives it has to offer: 1)Every time I come in for an appointment I'm always asked if I would like a cup of coffee or something to drink. 2)I've rarely been kept waiting for longer than 10 minutes. 3)I've never been disappointed with the cut I received, no matter who cuts it. Normally I have Kristin as my stylist, but I've also had Kirsty and a few others cut my hair when Kristin was extraordinarily busy. No place is perfect, however, but the few negatives that come to mind are: 1) it is a tad pricey and 2) the parking lot is set up oddly, forcing you to exit by a little side street and depend on the generosity of someone letting you out into the traffic flow which can be a few minutes on some occasions. All that being said, I don't believe Kristin has any plans to move again in the near future, but based upon the excellence she has given, I know I will be using her services for as long as possible.

My son's hair has a difficult texture and cowlicks that seemed to confound stylists in the past and cause him to dread haircuts but Kimberly's expertise has solved that completely. We trust no one else with his hair. Kimberly also takes excellent care of my hair. We recently decided to go darker with my hair and I couldn't be happier with the process and the results. Also any product she has ever recommended to me has been exactly what I needed and has delivered the results I was looking for. Luz is now long gone but Tina the owner was happy to fit me in. The salon was clean, quiet and relaxing - just what I needed after a rough day. Tina ran on time and asked me questions to get to know me, my hair, and my styling habits and hair goals which I appreciated. At this price point it was unexpected that she would take the time to inquire but it goes to show your satisfaction is important to her. I was happy with my results and felt it was a good value for the money, with a wash/cut/style running a few dollars less than a mall stylist, in a much better atmosphere. Conversing with Tina was pleasant and effortless, like talking to a friend. If I had to offer any corrective criticism my only concern was that she was a little too conservative in the amount she cut. Which, is not really a disappointment at all, given that I was a new client and I'd rather have a little off than a lot, at least until she gets to know me and my style. I have been getting full foils for 7 years now. My hair has always been very healthy even with the coloring. Although the color was bright and nice (aside from the unblended roots), the top layer of my hair was fried off, the ends were all damaged, and my hair in general had a lot of breakage that I have never experienced before. My stylist was also very abrasive with her technique, so I'm not that surprised of my results. When I saw my original stylist back at my hometown salon, she was in awe of my hair and had to do several strengthening and healing treatments on my hair and told me never to go back to Bardot.
