They did not honor my brilliant "if my name starts with Arcade, do get a discount?" pitch, but it's always worth asking, lol. Extremely clean, fully stocked, well lit bathrooms with eco-friendly hand soap and surface cleaner. Vending machines with sodas & seltzer. Comfortable spacing between consoles. I'm so glad that we spent a portion of our afternoon at this wonderful establishment, it was a great way to beat the heat and bond with the kids over video games from when we were children PLUS we got to play the games introduced by their generation. How is it possible to find out so I can skip the ads and previews arrive in time to see the movie. just for the movie? Please note that many members of the audience were calling out for the movie to start. I see in other reviews the same complaint. i want you to hear that there were FORTY MINUTES of ads and previews. I DID contact your corporate complaint department and will continue to do so until I speak to whoever if responsible for this offensive practice. Their response was to contact the theatre manager directly. Are you that person? They say that the ads are allowed...for 20 minutes prior to the advertised showtime, then 20 minutes of previews that vary in length so @ 40 minutes is 'allowed'. Your patrons do not want 40 minutes of basically ALL ADVERTISING before a movie. Especially a movie that lasts for 2 hours and 52 minutes. Who would? You? I will keep giving poor reviews because this practice is manipulative and silly! Additionally, the inability to contact a manager as the corporate email stated is ridiculous. Do you have a choice as to whether you keep people subjected to these ads? Does ANYONE have a choice? How do I know when to arrive for a movie if the stated time varies by at least 20 minutes? Up to 40 minutes!!! I suggest that the time for the previews and ads should be posted and then the real time when the actual movie starts can be determined. You have heavy competition form streaming services and this is hurting you! Please let me know how to speak to the manager!

The selection will waver (as all vintage game stores do). But what they do have is extreme quality. We even went together probably almost ten years ago and loved it! So we were in the area tonight and decided, of course, to hit up Boylan Heights for dinner, remembering it as fondly as we did. But I ended up...really disappointed by this visit. First of all, it was super busy, very crowded, and very loud - that's kinda to be expected out of a college sports bar though. The servers were all doing their best, and everybody was really nice! But then I ordered one of their pre-mixed drinks from the bar, and had to end up asking after it about 20 minutes later when it hadn't made it to my table. I was told it got lost in the mix of everything, which I do understand because as I mentioned before, it was busy. So I just said that's cool, I don't need it, I'll just have a root beer instead. 10 minutes later and the server comes to the table with lightly-tinted soda water, very apologetically telling me that's what's coming out and they need to change the bag. I'm autistic and overstimulated at this point so I just say no, water is fine. And that was a little ehh, but the food was absolutely the most disappointing part of this experience. I ordered a burger with bacon and cheese and their curly fries on the side...the fries were barely warm, and not a single element of the burger was seasoned. It was offensively bland, and on top of that, the bacon was floppy. Burger was undercooked as well (menu says they're cooked to medium well, it was about medium rare). I took 2 bites and was totally done. It's really a shame because you can tell the quality of the ingredients is good, but the execution was just kind of embarrassing. Like...salt and pepper the meat at least, please, c'mon. The milkshake was pretty good, though. This place is an institution, but I think it's leaning a little too hard on that reputation and has let the quality of its food slip.
