Popped into the end games today to sell a game for store credit as well as look around for unique to the four person games. It was an easy process to drop off the game for their review, and we found a small board game, Exploding Kittens and picked that up for a later enjoyment. It was great to see all the gamers in the store, enjoying anything from card based games to three dimensional characters. I own 4 of every Grn 4 MTG card and earlier sets, so have a warm place in my heart for gaming in an inclusive environment like this. They just moved to this new location, and it looks like they're doing great. Next time I pop in, I might pick up the Dungeons and Dragons version of Clue, because he doesn't want to go raiding a dungeon looking for who did what to whom?? read more

A really fun store to hop into! They have singles of pokémon, magic, and others. Definitely ask for binders, as they have more than what is in the glass display. Everyone working there and even the customers were super friendly and it really felt like I was walking into a community. When we asked how cards are graded and how you can tell if they are fake, we got a really cool and unexpected lesson. They even brought out some examples to show us. They also have Warhammer, board games, and many others. I highly recommend! read more

The staff here is amazing and very helpful!! My husband I are Dungeons and Dragon fans, especially him (I'm still a DD baby/newbie) even 9 years into marriage lol. We have found so many great finds here. They have a broad selection of games for all ages, dice, trays, card games, and they host their own game nights as well. Recently, they offer memberships to those who are interested. You can tell the staff/owner, really took the time to make this place comfortable for customers who join the games they host, with drinks for sale and many other things. read more

Great establishment. All of their inventory is searchable by a computer with the prices for each condition of the card (NM, Light Play, etc). The entire staff was very welcoming and warm. Truly enjoyed my time there. Big selection of old and new mtg cards. Board games galore. Pokémon selection was plentiful of the newest sets. A lot of other gaming accessories for sell as well. Personally the environment overall had a very misogynistic vibe, but I haven't been there in so many years so I can't really say now. I heard they took measures to make the place safer for children tho, so I appreciate this buisness and would be willing to rereview it in the future if it's still open. oh and there was one nice man who was friendly to me there. This is THE Local Game Store for the Charlottesville area. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful to new players, and there are Magic The Gathering events every week. They also take time to know your name and greet you when you walk in and there is just an overall inclusive vibe. They also help you build decks and offer suggestions (which is great for a new player getting into mtg). They also have plenty of board games for people to use and have a huge selection of table top games. 10/10 read more

Great for hanging out with friends and enjoying games of all types. This game store has lots of seats and table room to play games ranging from DnD to Magic: The Gathering and Warhammer to Pathfinder and so so much more. Not only do they have a wide variety of MTG cards but they have very competitive prices for their singles and carry tons of other gaming materials. The owners are the nicest people you'll ever meet. This business is interested in so much more than making money. They make the time and effort to get to know everyone that comes in to use their facility. With their knowledge and experience if you're lucky you might get a chance to have them on your team during a great MTG battle or maybe even a battle to the plastic death in Warhammer. I go here all the time, primarily to play on their computers as I'm a LoL junkie. Their prices for gaming time, snacks, etc., is very fair. The staff is friendly and helpful. Their internet goes down occasionally, though that isn't really their problem. The players/customers make up a lot of their culture there and all the "nerds" are friendly. I've made a few friends here. I absolutely hate that they lose at 10 PM on Saturdays. It seems they close because they don't have customers in on that night. I wish they would figure that part out. read more

The End Game Center is a mostly RPG store with a very small selection of tabletop board games. They have a vast collection of Magic the Gathering and Warhammer cards. Like most game stores, they have a lot of tables where they host weekly tournaments. They are also very welcoming if you want to go in, during a non-tournament time to play a board game. On a weekend night, you can expect a gathering of very nerdy highschoolers all into their games, and Overall, it is a very nice place, we, well, my boyfriend, wishes it was more of a tabletop game kind of place. read more

The End Game Center is the BEST place in C-ville for gaming. Period. If you enjoy table-top gaming, miniatures, dice based, or any card gaming then this is the place for you. The owners are personable and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere is the a perfect gaming environment. They also have console gaming, and light snacks and drinks. If you do however participate the staff is amazing and very knowledgeable about a broad range of game systems. The only beef I have is that there is more of a focus on Magic than say Warhammer, but that is not the store's fault and from what I have seen they do everything in their power to encourage games like Warhammer. read more

Just found this shop- a very nice game store, though I'd say the focus was primarily on Card and Miniature games, more than RPG games. It seems to have an active community, and very good prices on computer time and snacks. They have a membership with some nice perks, and the rolling discount makes it affordable to go in to support a local game store (a dying breed) at comparable prices to online venues without breaking the bank. read more
