Despite getting distracted by a dog she recognized (lol!), she was quick to greet us and ask if she could help us find anything. She later noticed me quizzically looking at a book and asked again if she could help me. I voiced what I was thinking at that point (because it was a very specific thought about the Italian author), and she researched the answer for me. I then asked a couple other questions, grabbed some books to purchase, and then chatted for a bit. I love that bookstores like this still exist! She also offers 10% off new books, so that's awesome too. And in the age of Covid, book-themed masks are available to purchase - they're located at the front of the store. You can find a bunch of different genres here, and both new and used titles. It's a small but mighty shop, and I'm so glad to have stumbled into it. Wow, this is a great comic shop about 45 mins south of DC. I visited when I was in the area…read morebecause they indicated they had some golden age comics. Boy, did they ever. I spent about an hour looking through the higher priced comics along the front wall and finally settled on the perfect one. The store is the larger of the two they have in the shopping center. They took it over from Tuesday Morning when it went out of business. I think they indicated it was 18,000 sq feet. Probably the largest comic book store I've ever visited. Lots of comics, games, cards, toys, plush, even a video game in the back to play? They also have a sister store in Woodbridge, just much smaller.
