Anyone would be glad they did-- I had no idea how much Pilates could do for my overall strength, flexibility and balance... and each course is tailored to the client based on level of physicality, age and health so nobody is left out. It's all doable and the client gains strength while enjoying great guidance from a well trained Pilates instructor. Just do it. And tell 'em Kent sent ya! The instructors at the Pilates center keep me moving in my daily life. Whenever something crops up that starts to bother my knees or ankle or whatever, the instructors always seem to find new ways to help me overcome and improve. Friendly owner and trainers. Clean, modern equipment. Lighting is excellent. Everything you need for a great Pilates workout.

I went to the Pilates Center because I bought a Groupon for eight small equipment classes. The teachers seemed very knowledgable about PIlates and were able to help and improve my core. However, it was very difficult to fit their classes into my schedule. As a working professional, I either need evening classes or early morning classes. This place didn't offer any early morning classes and had less than a handful of evening classes. It kind of makes it hard to get young, working people to go to your studio when classes are not at convenient times. Plus, they only offered two classes on Saturday. Finally, I think $135 for 10 classes is decent if they had a more flexible schedule. Since they don't, I won't be going back here. read more

I've enjoyed the classes I've taken here and I've taken from many of the instructors. They've been quality classes with clear instruction. The classes have helped me bring my pelvis into balance and relieved my back pain. I went in for my regular adjustment today and I didn't even need one, following a most wonderful class I took yesterday. I can't wait to take my next class! I'm so grateful to the amazing, skilled trainers at the Pilates center. My daughter and I came in for a class. She is extremely fit and familiar with Pilates. I am extremely out of shape and can barely pronounce the word Pilates. We both got exactly the work out we needed with an emphasis on meeting us where we were but taking us to the next level. For anyone thinking they're too out of shape to even start, head to the Pilates center. We also saw a trainer working with an older man who had either had shoulder surgery or was dealing with real limitations in his upper back. It was interesting to see how much Pilates was helping with his rehab. This was a wonderful experience all around. read more

I began Pilates at the Pilates Center six years ago for severe back issues! I was taking pain medication regularly. Pilates has been amazing for me! My core has strengthened, no more back pain, and no more pain medication! I love that Pilates is for everyone - any age, any size! I've been attending group classes and private sessions at The Pilates Center since 2011 (3 + years) and I couldn't be happier with my choice of this studio to be doing this for my body! The instructors are friendly and very well trained, and the environment is pleasant and convenient with great parking (it's also near lots of my favorite restaurants). After a fairly short while doing Pilates there I noticed distinct improvement in my posture and muscle tone, & at this point I have core and periphery muscle development that I've never had....as in Ever. There have been lots of after work-hour classes added since the one reviewer that had problems with the scheduling aspect. I highly recommend this place, and there are several new classes that just opened up. Leave them a voice message as the owner is quite busy but will return your call. read more

I've been going to The Pilates Center for some time and can't say enough good things about it. Not only am I stronger, but the minor aches and pains I had before starting are basically gone. I started back because my legs and tummy were starting to shall we say, sag : ) and after only a few weeks there's a noticeable difference. I just started Pilates this past six months and I am HOOKED. As a runner, volleybalIer and mostly lifting history, I find this low impact exercise surprisingly chanllenging. More so than I thought. I have taken private lessons and done classes. All the trainers have their own style and love to mix it up. I have noticed a huge difference in my core when I go to my other workout activities and I highly recommend the reformer training. The Pilates Center is a very nice facility with knowledgable staff and a pretty good schedule of classes with hopes of making it better with more times. JUST DO IT!!! you won't be sorry. read more

I had been looking for a Pilates Studio for a while. I came across The Pilates Center and thought it was just too far to drive from Arlington to far west Fort Worth. Well, My mind has changed. I met with Heather, the owner and she was excellent. I truly enjoyed the class and the distance is not an issue. I would & will recommend The Pilates Center to everyone I know. The Pilates Center is an uplifting studio with kind, encouraging professional instructors that help you to do your best no matter what level you are at. I especially like the one-on-one instruction offered on the equipment but, working out with a partner is fun too. I always leave feeling invigorated and stronger. I have practiced yoga for quite some time and had a lot of ideas about what I thought Pilates would be like for me. Almost a year ago I gave Pilates a chance and I'm so glad I did. I like to tell people I weigh the same as my heaviest weight, but I'm 1-2 sizes smaller. ;) yay muscles! Heather, the owner, is amazing and motivates me not just to get stronger, but to be the best I can be in all areas of my life. She's gentle with me (I have a chronic illness) but she safely pushes me to the next level when it's time. All of the teachers are excellent. I also study with Aimée and would highly recommend her too. They are both very skilled and compassionate. All of the teachers take their training seriously and care about proper alignment and doing what is best for your body at that time. I thought I needed to be skinny, fit, etc for Pilates, but it truly does work for me even though that isn't me right now. I feel like Pilates is for everyone. What is special about this studio is that you will see men and women of all ages, sizes, and ethnicities. We all feel comfortable there and I like that. It's not a competitive environment yet I feel challenged and respected. I also love that you can book online! read more
