Indigo Yoga pulled me in right away. The space is airy with a loft feel, clean lines, tons of natural light, and just an easygoing energy the second you walk in. Check in was smooth, but booking as a first timer felt like a bit of a choose your own adventure situation. I saw an $8 option, a $15 option, and then a very confident "first class free" sign when I arrived. I ended up calling and honestly, problem solved. The staff was super friendly, patient, and got everything sorted without any stress. I took the heated Hardsculpt class and wow... immediately humbled. It is HOT , the kind where you are sweating within minutes and quietly questioning your life choices. There is a good amount of choreography which kept me on my toes, but it was a solid sweat and still felt doable with modifications. The instructor was fantastic. Clear cues, great energy, actually present before and after class, and the music made you want to keep going even when your body was negotiating otherwise. They are generous with amenities too. Showers, a wild number of lockers, all first timer equipment was ready to go for me in a locker ( loveeee) so I can just show up and not think, and I have never in my life seen mat sanitizer machines hanging in a yoga lobby but now I am wondering why every studio does not have them! What really stood out was the community. It felt welcoming, organized, and like people genuinely wanted to be there. A good mix of ages and experience levels which I always appreciate. I personally lean toward darker, moodier studios with mirrors, so the bright open space and no mirrors took a second to adjust to, but that is just preference, not a flaw. Only thing to note, they are not on ClassPass App,which might be a miss for travelers trying to drop in. Overall, beautiful studio, strong workout, great people, and you will absolutely sweat. I have to get on here and say how much I absolutely love and adore this yoga studio. The building and atmosphere is wonderful no doubt, but the staff and everyone who makes it feel like home are what really seal the deal for me. I have been going here for almost a year and I have never loved a studio more than this one. There are no mirrors in the studio itself so it's a perfectly safe and sacred space to really be with yourself and your community without intrusive thoughts or comparison. Love literally everything about this studio. I'd tried yoga in the past - just regular yoga with no heat. Never really got into it and it would bother my joints. (I have rheumatoid arthritis) a girlfriend invited me to indigo on FREE first Wednesday. That's right - the 1st Wednesday of every month is free even if you've been to the studio before. Your first visit to the studio is free on any day of the week. Anyhoo - I couldn't believe how much I enjoyed that free class. The heat actually seemed to help keep my joints from hurting. I'm to the point where I can actually tell when I don't make it 2 or 3 times a week. My body actually wants it. I still stay on the "cool" side of the studio too. Not sure I'll ever make it to the hot box room which is the warmest area of the studio. The temperature isn't as hot as the Bikram yoga... just an FYI for ya. Everyone there is so welcoming - staff and clients. They offer a variety of class styles and times so you're sure to find a class you like at a time you can attend. Restrooms are super clean. Lockers and showers are available. There is a private parking lot and street parking is also available. Why not give if a try!?! Especially since that first class is free. read more

What a fabulous team of yoga experts! They make me wanna not namast-ay in bed all day to kick my butt in this studio. As I am reviewing this yoga studio I am NOT an official member here (yet) and only speak from my many experiences coming here to sample their classes. Every time I visit (and bringing new-to-yoga friends), IY always impresses me from how gracious the teachers are to the rigor of the classes. It's a grand time just being in the hot room and sweating like crazy, and that is a sentence I never imagined saying since I love the cold! I believe they specialize in Baptiste style yoga, so this is a more flow-like and core focused practice. You feel sooo zen and challenged when you're there, even if the moves are seemigly simple. I'm always sore the next day from those chaturangas. If you are brand spankin' new to the yoga practice, do not worry, you do NOT have to keep up 100% to the instructor; you can opt into child's pose or slow down whenever you want, they're very flexible on that. You are not pressured into doing anything you don't feel comfortable with. There's usually an assistant roaming around to each practitioner fixing and further stretching/adjusting you into whatever position you're in. Everyone is patient, welcoming, and willing to aid you if you need that help. Come here if you're looking for a challenge and a grand sweaty time. It'll make your day so much better and you'll definitely feel energized after your sesh. read more

I'm so happy I found Indigo, after my last yoga studio closed. The teachers are very helpful, I love the late hours they're open. Sometimes I work until 7pm, I'm able to take the 7:45pm Flow. I definitely recommend Indigo. I will add one thing for the owner, tell your employees not to debate or discuss they're "expertise" on Covid and mask wearing. It's extremely inappropriate. read more

They have so many classes everyday so whatever time you like to do yoga, they probably have a class. The classes are heated to about 90-95 degrees depending where you sit in the room it can be hotter or cooler. The style of yoga is Baptiste power vinyasa. They have other types of yoga at there other location on W. 7th, Indigo Academy. They also offer guided meditation classes which I love. It is very clean and a large space. Free classes on the first Wednesday of every month. I've taken thousands of classes here and I keep coming back for more of the good stuff!! Just took Will's class and it was wonderful! read more

I love Indigo Yoga! The environment is inviting for all levels of yogis. Every time I walk in the door I feel welcomed. With enough visits, they know your name. I've travelled and visited other yoga studios in different cities. Nothing has compared yet. I'm often disappointed that they're not as great as the one back home. I almost feel like I'm at a spa, yet there are many times when the workout is incredibly challenging. When this is the case, I look forward to the end, being given a cool lavender washcloth... BLISS! Every instructor brings a different vibe, but all are great. The showers are clean they have lockers and supplies, you can rentva towel or bring your own. A filtered water refill station is nice, especially when running late. Everyone is friendly, you can choose if you want the hotter side or the cooler side of the room, depending on your mood. Somedays you just want to sweat! There is something for everyone, men, women, old and young. Often I see children practicing with parents. I really want to bring my daughters for Music Flow (playlists are always different and fun) Last week was May the Forth be with you... and my girls would have loved the "Stranger Things" MF. You don't have to worry about your level, you just do your thing. There are people to help you correct or deepen your poses and they always encouraged you to push your own boundaries! I really, really wanted to love this place. I went there full of excitement, but I am so sorry, I left very disappointed and let down. Let me summarize this, Indigo yoga is all about where commerce meets technology, their automated system attempted to know me better than the individuals or instructors in this studio by asking about my experience about this place through texts and emails. If you need a quick exercise with some fast paced yoga poses and aerobics at 96 degree Fahrenheit, you should go here. I get that kind of exercise on everyday basis, and I do have good stamina to sustain that. But yoga is not just a physical, it is much more mental, it is an art, it is a discipline, it has a healing power, it should be fluid, and it should have a flow, balance and structure. I did not find any of that in this place. Indigo may be commercially successful Yoga studio in Fort Worth and it is very difficult to be lucrative in this sector and I completely understand that. I felt like the class was rushed, yoga poses did not have any fluidity to it, you move from pigeon to crow to down dog without any synchronicity. It felt so mechanical. Indigo has potential to be a great studio without compromising the integrity of wonderful discipline and practice called 'YOGA". By the way I liked the quote by Gandhi on Indigo's exterior wall, but I am very doubtful he will be acknowledged if Gandhi were to walk into this studio. Karmany and Indigo may have planted seeds of yoga in Fort Worth and I thank them for that, and I am thankful for other studios that are flourishing in this community, therefore my options are not limited. Indigo yoga , where to begin? For starters, this studio is very near and dear to my heart. It is hard for me to write a review for this yoga studio because there is so much that I love about it that I do not know where to start. Let me start by saying I have done yoga since I was 8 years old. Living in AZ, my mother and I went to several different locations and styles of yoga. It wasn't until I turned 16 and we moved to Fort Worth that I was introduced to Baptiste Yoga by Indigo Yoga. And what a blessing!! To say the least I fell in love. I know it sounds cheesy but it is the truth. The quality of instruction given here is beyond anything I have ever experienced. The care and the sincerity of the instructors is priceless. The community and the sense of warmth this studio brings to Fort Worth is incredible. It is not just about getting a workout and sweating this studio is so much more. Words of advice to someone who is looking at attending this studio for the first time: Bring: your own matt, water bottle , sweat towel and a positive and open mind. This studio has all level classes that people of all ages and levels can practice at safely . If you have never done yoga before there are plenty of modifications that the teachers offer which is wonderful. For someone who has never tried Baptiste yoga , give it a chance you may find that you may fall in love as well! One of my favorite parts of the class which I think many would agree with is the cold towel at the end of class during the final resting pose. I swear I leave the studio feeling renewed every time! I started going to Indigo when it first opened out of sheer curiosity; it was across the breezeway from the place I got my hair cut. Then, to make a long story short, it pretty much changed me from the inside out. I had done some yoga dvds before but basically I was a total newbie. Brooke patiently walked me through the correct way to vinyasa but she emphasizes (as do all the other teachers) that the student should do exactly what feels right and not worry so much about the poses. There is a definite culture here. It is a culture of caring and helping- not competition or "right and wrong" ways to do poses. A common mantra here is "It's JUST yoga". But the challenge is most definitely here for those who are seeking it. The all-levels class is just that: all levels. Also- if you want a fun, not-so-serious class- go to the Friday Night Funk. :-) -addition after reading Andy N's review: It is packed because it is popular and people love it and pack in! I have heard rumors that Brooke is going to a bigger location soon though! But even if it is crowded, the culture at Indigo is such that it's OKAY to touch eachother! I love this place. I have been practicing sporadically across Texas for years and have never experienced community within a yoga studio like this. The instructors are knowledgable and challenging and will lovingly push you, making sure you never "check out" during practice and accomplish whatever your goals are. The practice brings in people of all ages, occupations, levels of experience and body types, and I've never experienced an ounce of judgement. Classes are as challenging as you make them but the cold lavender towels the instructors place on your forehead at the end of practice make all of your effort completely worth it. :) If you want to transform your mind and body and have fun along with way with an incredible community of people, this is your studio. read more

I started coming to Indigo at the beginning of 2015 as a New Years resolution to keep my body in good working order. After almost 6 months of practicing, I can see a huge improvement in not only my body, but in my daily attitude and presence in life. I started doing yoga as an outlet for stress and it uncovered a serious illness, severe Stage 4 osteoporosis. Yoga is one of the few things I am permitted and encouraged to do by my medical team. Every single teacher that I attend their class regularly knows this about me and works with me to do my practice safely and to support and strengthen my bones. They are instantly on board and excited I am motivated to improve my bone strength and stamina with my yoga practice. I have never felt incapable, left out, or like I'm not good enough to practice with more advanced students with stronger bodies. I have always felt welcome and in fact celebrated for doing my best and improving on my body's weaknesses with them at my side. No one is afraid I am there and encourages me to do my practice in the way that is safe for me. I cannot thank them all enough, both the instructors and my fellow students. I have regained a small amount of bone density pre-medical treatment and the ONLY thing I was doing was going to Indigo 3-5 times a week.
