Great gym, awesome staff & fitness instructors, unbelievably low monthly price!!! I joined in April after only 2 weeks into a local deal for 30-days of fitness classes. I've never taken a fitness class, a bit shy about working out in crowded places -all eyes on me feeling, yikes! My 1st class was Zumba with Jennifer - she rocks! If you like dancing then you'll absolutely love Zumba!!! Everybody misses a step (lol) just keep moving. Jennifer was 7 months pregnant when I met her - this woman is no joke about giving you an exhilarating workout! A little sore the next day but I followed up with Les Mills BodyPump 81. Well ...nobody told me lifting 7 lbs of weight (bar included) for 50-mins would leave my feet - yes my feet (and every other body part) so sore. Literally 2-days of barely being able to move but it felt good to tell people that I had been working out. I became determined from that point - I needed more and the instructors have never let me down! I love the welcoming environment that Fit For Life provides. I don't just feel like a generic "member" who no one knows or acknowledges after convincing me to join their gym. Here, I feel like I have a second family and they actually miss me and notice when I am not there. The variety of classes offered are awesome but what makes the classes even better are the wonderful instructors. The ladies & gentlemen who facilitate these classes are very motivating and encouraging. They have the best attitudes and are not the type who tiptoe around the fitness. Each one is a hard-working individual who not only demands the best of themselves while they are on the stage they aim to pull the best out of the member and make you want to push yourself to be as good as you can be. I love all of those guys & gals and think that they do a superb job in representing the gym and making members feel confidant and comfortable enough to want to come back. The staff there makes the equipment and space more than just a gym...the combination of skill and professionalism teamed with a quaint, pleasant environment equals a guaranteed positive end result. This gym is so tiny. If you are at all serious about training or working out do NOT go to this gym. Anyone could practically build this gym in their spare bedroom or junk room. There's no locker rooms which is awful for a gym when you either come straight from work or school. Also, I personally had issues with the owner and his co-workers at this Gym and at the one in weatherford. It was no shock to me that the one in weatherford went out of business. If you live in Fort Worth and go to this gym you mine as well spend the same exact money and go to a real Gym like 24 hour. This gym is a wannabe planet fitness but with a rude owner who is extremely sexist because he kicked me out for wearing a body building tank top but allows girls to wear spandex with butt cheeks showing while wearing their shirts raised to their boobs. Also I had a trainer cuss me out and confront me in my face when I couldn't sign in because he was not doing his job at the front desk. FIT FOR LIFE FFL WARNING WARNING!!!! Do not join fit for life!!! My friend was recently fired from this place. She is a single mother with four children with no other source of income. The owner perry lunsford is now lying to the Texas workforce commission to get out of paying for unemployment. What type of scum bag does this to a single mother! They are very unethical! If you join the will almost force you to buy personal training. The sales people will go as far as calling you fat, make you cry and to women they tell them to use a credit card that their husband does not know about to hide the charges! BEWARE!!!!!! This place is great. Very clean, staff is great and the trainers are the best. All the staff knows you by name and will answer any and all questions. I have only gotten to take one class so far, but iI go on a daily basis to work out on the machines. Looking forward to taking more classes really soon. I have only been a member for a few months, but I will never go anywhere else again. The monthly fee is great and so much is offered for such a low price. They offer childcare (a benefit that allows me to finally get out and have some "ME" time) and the worker is wonderful with all of the kids. They love her. read more

I highly recommend Fit For Life. I got a taste for the place with a Groupon last summer and just couldn't stop! The gym is clean, the childcare is excellent and really adds value to the already low monthly fee. The trainers are fantastic and will take you as far as you want to go. And don't even get me started on the fitness classes! The instructors are truly amazing and make everyone from first timers to long-time members feel comfortable and confident. Shout out to Jennifer- the absolute BEST Zumba instructor in Fort Worth... it is worth trying the place out just to take one of her classes! read more

I have only been to Fit For Life a handful of times but my mother has been a member for years. However, I occassionally attend the Tuesday night zumba class. Jennifer is a great instructor full of energy and positive motivation pushing us to work it! even though I am not a member, the staff is always so welcoming and the place is always clean. great gym!!! all I need now is for them to bring back BodyFlow!!! read more

I have been a member for a couple of months and I LOVE it!!! Best group classes and instructors I've found in Fort Worth and this is the third gym I've tried!! No high pressure sales people. Feels like a little neighborhood gym and a family. I will be staying here as long as I am in FW. It's only $34 a month and that includes free child care and unlimited classes.
