But oh so great. Good for all ages. All instructors are knowledgeable although I do have my favorites. Lol Caleigh is one of them and happens to be the general manager of the studio. I had a couple brain fa*ts with my contract and she is more than fair. Be sure to note that the minimum contract is 3 months because it takes that long to see a difference in your body. All you have to do is provide a 30 day notice if you decide it isn't for you. They usually offer sign up specials. Another plus is that many types of barre classes are offered and the schedule is huge so you can ALWAYS make a class. Cubbies are provided for your personal effects while working out as well as a few combo lockers. There is a clean gender neutral restroom available. Parking is usually good in the lot provided but street parking is also plentiful. Only negative for me personally was the volume of the music but I have sensitive ears. I wore earplugs during class and it was just fine. Just throwing it all out there in case your #old like me. Lol All in all 3 thumbs up! Go find out for yourself.

The place isn't as high energy or difficult as what I'm accustomed to, but everyone was friendly and I still had some soreness afterward. I think this is a great place if you are looking for low impact, mellow exercise in a nonjudgmental environment. In my opinion, this place is great for those new to working out or those who want to add a little variety into their workout routine. The $5.00 sale bin that was available at the time was exciting because workout attire never comes that cheap!

As a total body workout, this class fuses principles of ballet, Pilates, and yoga to target body areas in which women struggle- the core, hips, thighs, seat and arms. A traditional ballet barre is used to help maintain balance and provide resistance, however, you will not need a tutu in this class to achieve the long, lean look of a dancer. In addition to the barre, light weights, a playground ball, and a cushy mat are used. An efficient, upbeat workout, you will find it a "smart" use of time.

There are clothes, snacks and socks (you need them), water available to purchase and most importantly TOWELS. The ladies that teach are dancers and they know their stuff. They do come over and correct your postures. They do remember your name. They do the class with you... well mostly. Kristi knows her stuff, and gives the most detailed instructions of all the instructors. Huge focus on form! The workout consists of a warm up, stretching, thigh, seat work, abs, cool down, and more stretching. You will shake, you will work, you will tone up, you will be encouraged. You don't have to be a dancer to attend Smart Barre (hello? Have you seen my dance moves?). I am by no means a dancer (In public!) and never felt intimidated or embarrassed. Except the days I'm so tired I can't remember left from right... yes, it's happened. I have been to several studios in the area. If the word BARRE is in the name, I've been there sweating my A$$ off. Smart Barre has THE most pleasant staff. They show you the moves and actually do them with you, not just walk around the room talking. It's ALL barre all the time, not a studio with a few classes a day. This is a legit workout. There are days I think Sara is trying to kill me. Sally will whip you into shape. Allie and Victoria will have your booty burning. I just can't rave enough. Excellent instruction, upbeat atmosphere, TOWELS!! love love love this studio!

There were people of all ages and fitness levels attending the class, so no one really looked out of place. Overall, good experience and great class.

We were in town for business so we wanted a place that would take ClassPass credits and able to accommodate about 7 of us with varying degrees of experience with barre. For me, this was my second barre class ever, first with barre3, and it blew my first experience out of the water. I had issues with my first barre class (again, not with barre3) with the instructor going too fast, not showing us what to do, and me being very confused through the hour. I'm no stranger to yoga, Pilates, and working out in general so it was a bit frustrating going into barre. This was not true with barre3-Coppell! We had the pleasure of having Mary Beth teach our class. She is helpful, engaging, and pushed us to do our best. She guided us all through the class, showed us modifications that we could do depending on our ability, and encouraged us throughout the class. I had such a great time and a nice workout for the evening. My only qualm with our 7pm class was that the room where we performed barre was very... dank and warm. Presumably from the last class and as an encouragement (?) to also sweat off our day. Which I did and I got a great workout, but a little air would help! I would love to return should I be back in the area. Thanks for a great workout!

Let's just say going here on a weekly basis has maintained my physical and mental health! Here are my favorite parts: 1. Signature Group Training Classes: Many members don't know that our membership includes these awesome classes. If you've been to Orange Theory Fitness, the GTX classes are a very similar concept minus the rower. I love the combination of cardio and strength training, making you that strong hybrid athlete! Big shoutout to my favorite coaches - Christa on the weekdays; and Aaron on the weekends. 2. Dynamic Personal Training: Well, I thought I didn't need this since I've been exercising for years, but after taking a complimentary session, I decided to commit. I have to brag about coach Victoria. She has taught me so much! My form for upper body training was off all this time - apparently, I don't keep those shoulders down to avoid injury/strain. I'm now lifting heavier: weight down, more skeletal muscle mass, and less percent body fat. I could go on, but it's worth the extra money and time. 3. Lifetime app: If you can't make it to the gym, they have on demand classes to take your workout with you. I actually use this quite often when I can't make it there physically, and simply look at the training plan to help guide my workouts. 4. Kids Academy: You can drop off your kiddos before your workout to keep them entertained. This is a huge plus for busy parents, and the kids can sign up for classes. 5. Other cool amenities: There's a sauna, cafe, swimming pool, and spa. You literally can do your nails, but I haven't used their services yet. Oh, they even have pickle ball classes and obviously a pickle ball court for free play. 6. Equipment: I'm used to having only 2-3 squat racks and fighting/waiting on those. There's plenty to go around here! I also love to use those bumper plates; they keep them in good condition. 7. Treadmills: The treadmills are so nice to run on. They even have a sled pushing mode. I typically run on Bootcamp training mode to easily adjust the incline and speed. The only downside is they don't have a built-in fan. The entire place is kept pretty clean with a water filling station, fresh towels, mats, etc. I almost forgot to mention they have a recovery/stretch area. I can go on all day, but long story short, you should do a free tour to see what you're missing out on.
