I took a women's group strength class with Jess, who was super kind, checked in on my knee injury, and offered mods when needed. Overall, solid workout. Not easy, not killer, just right down the middle. I'll be honest though... I was fully distracted by a personal trainer on the side absolutely wrecking her clients. Like hi, I want THAT workout. Clean bathrooms, booked easily on ClassPass, and I spotted Hyrox signs which got me excited. There's also a physical therapy biz inside, and both seemed busy, so clearly something's working. The vibe felt a little more quiet and low key than my usual energy, but I can see the community is there. All in, a solid 4 stars. Not rushing back, but I'd try another class... and maybe sneak into one of those savage one on one sessions next time.

No empathy. Just a robotic "sorry, policy is policy" while she stared at me like I had personally ruined her week. Rules are one thing, but human decency? Apparently optional. Lift some here....walk some there....do this machine..who knows if my muscles ever grew but I do know my stomach did! So I had a friend keep pestering me about PT Fitness so I went to a workout so she would leave me alone. Little did I know it would be AMAZING! Yes, this fat chick said a work out place was AMAZING! Let me tell you why......the trainers! YUP plain and simple. The trainers do not care about the all mighty dollar they care about their clients. They are 100% knowledgeable and will work with you where you are at right now to get where you want to be. They care where I am in my journey.........they want to assist.......they cheer me on and they motivate me on the days I don't want to be there. I hate to miss a class. When i do it actually puts me in a foul mood because I LOVE working out at PT fitness! I not only go to the boot camp classes but I also get one on one training with Nancy. Who is spectacular. If you're looking for a headache or a reason not to go to the gym, this place will provide it. From the very beginning, things were handled poorly. When I signed up, my kids were added to the account and were supposed to be able to enter with either me or my wife. Every staff member I spoke with gave a different answer about how the account worked. Finally, Bryan, who said he was the manager, seemed almost eager to process the cancellation instead of trying to resolve anything. Truly disappointing service for a gym.

The facility may be small, but is very accommodating and you don't have to deal with a large crowd. The trainers here are the best I've ever seen and are very effective. They know what they're doing and know your limits and help you to excel and push you to become even better. Even after you've met your goals this gym will make you want to come back and continue to train and set more goals. They teach you how to use the machines and how to get the best workout out of it. Roe has been training me and I can say that she's given me the best experiences and has helped me much more than I could have ever by myself. She has a different outlook than most trainers I've met. She cares more about her clients and their wellbeing than most. She wants her clients to be happy and healthy. What more would you want than that; a great trainer who cares about you and only wants you to be the best you? It doesn't get better than that.

We discuss nutrition, he makes sure I'm doing the exercise the correct way and we tweak what needs to be tweaked. He is focused on getting the most out of every movement. We didn't change everything about my lifestyle at once, we made small gradual changes. No burnout. It's all completely manageable. Classes - While I have not participated in these myself, I have made friends who have. The run classes are designed with the runner's overall health in mind, it's not just "run Forest run". Most of the time I see them stretching, doing recovery exercises and such. If I had any desire to run a marathon, I would want to be a part of those. The strength and conditioning classes are intense, yet you feel totally triumphant after completing one. Journey - EnduraLab is not just a gym. It's a place for life change. Look this gym used to be my favorite place to be, and honestly even tho i am leaving i still wish…read morethe best for it. There are some things to look out for if you are considering this gym: 1. Be careful and read the contracts, i think they do an okay job with telling you, but remember canceling you have to "give" (whatever that's considered) a 30 day notice 2. When i left, there was no grace, the young blonde lady had some attitude and wasn't really friendly at all, (after i've been trying cancel for months but was pushed back or avoided some how) and that attitude kind of hurt because it made me feel like if i wanted to come back, i don't want to come back to that. In conclusion, it used to be a serious powerlifting/body building gym to be at, but it's slightly declined with that culture (i believe it's still there tho, and i've heard good things about their dojo) and if you aren't looking to go to a gym for that, than quite frankly the price just doesn't make sense, it will be easily 30+ dollars a month maybe a little cheaper if you get a contract. but there are gyms out there (and soon to be down the street) that are cheaper and with better equipment and facilities at that. look i've had some serious good workouts in the past there, and for the most part there is kind people, (some a little judgy) i just hate the bad taste left from that awfully passive aggressive conversation about canceling. but honestly Strouds is trying and you can tell, but just be aware of all that. The amenities are great too: a full locker room with showers and sauna, dedicated martial arts dojo, and a multipurpose room with great lighting for technical practice and warm-up. The staff are friendly and carry on the Kirk Stroud legacy with honor. Trainers are available for consultation during all hours for beginners to advanced competitors.
