A little pricy but the flavors are delicious. For these 4 slices it came out to $34.00. Split between 3 of us, it was a tasty sampling of the pies. Tiramisu slice, white chocolate raspberry cheesecake, coconut merengue, an turtle cheesecake. read more

Been here once years ago bc it's close to the Largo Botanical Garden. It seems like it would be a touristy type place if it was in a location such as that. It gives off old school Florida vibes to me. I checked out their pie and really hoped for different tropical flavors but not really much of that. They did have Key Lime Pie and they kept advertising their Banana Cream Pie(this one was not available as slices. I already knew I wanted coconut cream pie. I didn't love this. It was a small slice with not much coconut flavor for a higher price. I feel like I can definitely make this pie which I have not done so. My husband had the chocolate cream pie. It was okay too, just whole pies at the time I went.) Service was nice and easy. read more

Delicious! My Husband spied this spot from the road and pulled in immediately. We were on the hubt for a coffee but what is better than pie and coffee? I almost always get strawberry rhubarb or coconut cream pie. They had both but I opted for their coconot cream nerongue pie and my Husband got a DECADENT slice of Cookie Butter Banana. Prices here are very fair by the slice and they obviously sell by the pie also. Clean dining area with a spacious patio space also. Very retro tabletops make me a bit nostalgic for my childhood beach trips. Definitely recommend this spot if you're in the area and need a sweet treat and want to skip a trendy spot. read more

Yes, please. If I wouldn't gain weight eating their pie, I would be here everyday. If you want a small town, mom and pops feel, but having a great selection that not only tastes good, but comes with great service, this is your place. The Pie Factory workers are always so polite and attentive to your wants. Not only is their services great, but they are so personable and can talk to you about anything. If you want to have a better day, stop and get a slice of pie and have a chat with one of them, I bet it would make their day too. We have ordered various pies on different occasions for holidays or parties or just a special treat. The Pie factory never disappoints. When you arrive, there is always plenty of parking and they have great hours to accommodate with working schedules. Walking in you are thrown into a tropical oasis or a replica of the Keys, you choose lol. As you walk to the counter you are cascaded with various options of not only pies, but sweets of every size and flavor! I can't help but wanting to try everything knowing how good things are. My personal favorite has been the peanut butter pie, but the coconut meringue and regular cheese cake have come in a close second! I suggest getting the sampler to anyone who is knew so you can try various pies and a taste of what the Pie Factory has to offer! Can't wait to go back soon and try another one! read more

I've been a customer here since 1998 when we moved to Largo. Bought a key lime for Easter and was VERY disappointed. It was dry and nothing like the quality when Marv and Bobbie were running the show. Seems like the crusts were pre made and the filling was dry. read more

What else can I say besides five stars! AMAZING desserts, friendly service with a smile, and adorable décor throughout, this place truly has it all. My only regret is not stopping by sooner. read more

Good key lime pie! Service was as you would expect and there was a pie/pastry shop atmosphere.

I've driven by here so many times and finally stopped in. I bought 3 flavors of pie. Key lime, banana cream and fruit of the forest. The key lime was very good. The banana cream had a slight banana taste but I did not see a banana slice at all, it was mostly whipped cream. The whipped cream was good though. The fruit of the forest is a mixture of rhubarb and berries. I got it because it seemed interesting, it wasn't for me. I can't say it was bad just not my taste. However I was disappointed in the crust, it was thick and not flaky at all. The service was prompt and helpful. Overall I wouldn't recommend this place. I have been many times. Usually end up with the mixed fruit pie...always delicious! I'll be back soon.

I tried their lemon meringue pie and had mixed feelings. The crust didn't have much flavor or flakiness, which took away from the overall experience. That said, the meringue was surprisingly good--light, smooth, and well‑balanced--and the lemon filling had just the right amount of tartness. With a better crust, this could be a standout dessert. read more

This place has been opened for 35 years! 35! Holy cow! I had a best friend years ago and her and I would literally make it a thing to come here and grab a slice of quiche Loraine because we absolutely loved it! So that was about 16 years ago. So it's been 16 years since I've been back to this place. After a plant run with my mom I asked her if she had ever been here before and she said she has never been here before so we decided to check it out. My mom said she felt like she stepped into a 1960's pie / coffee shop which I totally understood those vibes. The one lady which was not the owner was super sweet and kind. So very helpful and kept the coffee coming. The owner was there and honestly she didn't seem friendly, we didn't deal with her at all, she didn't smile, was not welcoming and although it's a long time in business I would think she would understand customers service. I must say the Kamala Harris rally's that she had on the tvs was a major turn off for business. I'm not just saying that because I'm a Trump fan. I believe that needs to stay out of your place of business....if you want to put signs that's your choice and freedom but I do not think it should be on repeat on your place of business TVs. Other than that will still be back to order holiday pies this year. read more

We tried to visit the Pie Factory today after reading about them online. We were greeted by a "It is 15 minutes after closing. I mean come on people." This location closes early this week & the lady said to read the sign posted on the door. I apologized & said we didn't know, we were just visiting from Texas & looked them up online. Needless to say the pie factory is not a place I would go for anything sweet. Hopefully if you decide to visit, you have a much better experience. read more

Cookies were giant, super soft and heated up well in the heat like they were straight out of the oven.

Lovely spot. Great variety. Sweet ladies running it! I have returned already again for a second time in 2 months.

The apricot pockets were hard, the filling hard and chewy... not what I was expecting. The taste was really off, like they used margarine instead of butter... just a weird chemical taste I couldn't put my finger on, but I wound up tossing them out. $7 for a slice of pie from a counter is insane. Coffee from a thermos so I didn't even bother. read more

I was not a fan. The place seemed very chaotic when we went and it took a minute for someone to acknowledge us. We ordered 2 slices of pie to go and I did not finish mine. I had the chocolate pie and it lacked that nice creamy silk chocolate flavor and texture that I am used to with chocolate pies. The crust was very dry and tasteless as well. I am one and done with this place. read more

Great place to grab a pie and they even have a drive through. The famous key lime pie here is delicious with a super creamy lime-y frosting and a perfect crust. The place advertises a "coffee bar," but they simply have iced and brewed coffee (although not a cold brew). Their espresso machine might be down or not functioning, so I wouldn't necessarily count on this place for a fancy cup of Joe. The pie is great though and they have a ton of pie slices available in single slices and many in whole pies as well. 3 slices of pie + a whole pie and a cup of coffee came to about $30 which was reasonable for a house made pie operation. Definitely recommend checking out this small business! read more

The sign that said best key lime pie was what drew us in and a key lime pie is what we got! This pie was pretty sweet not tart at all, I was expecting to make this face the whole time but I never did. I couldn't really find the lime in the pie at all though. But overall the pie was pretty good. The crust, which I wish there was more of, was my favorite part. read more

This is THE place for Key Lime pie. You might think that Publix KLP is great... And it is. But THIS...... THIS is sublime. Hands down the best Key Lime pie you'll ever have. It's the perfect texture - not too fluffy, not too dense. It's the perfect tartness - not too sour, not too sweet. The crust is not too thick, not too thin, not too overpowering. Even the whipped cream that adorns the edges is great. Creamy, not fluffy and not too sweet. It's little wonder that the Pie Factory is the supplier to so many restaurants... This is just an outstanding key lime pie. Can you tell I LOVE the pie? Go! The only regret you'll have is the calories. read more

Who doesn't love pie? They have a ton of different pies (I think they said over 40?) and I couldn't believe my eyes. I did the key lime pie as that's what I was craving and what they are most known for (and have their roots from). You can also eat in, should you wish (not an entire pie... my lord!) but definitely a slice or two. Lots of different options, apparently the key lime pie recipe dates back several decades, which is cool. read more

The Pie Factory has delicious food and 5 star service. I requested a take out for 20 people. Barbara & staff were so accommodating and helpful. The Shepard pie was Individually wrapped and boxed in a cooler to keep warm til I could get to my destination. Someone helped me to my car with the cooler. My party of 20 were very impressed with the food. The desserts are to die for! This is definitely a hidden gem. read more

This wasn't a coffee and pie shop like we expected. Coffee was served from a pump thermos (weak coffee). They have quite a variety of desserts, to be sure, but I'm not sure how many are actually made from scratch at this location. We ordered a couple of refrigerated fruit pie slices and requested them warmed but they were served basically room temperature. I'm not sure I quite understand the appeal exactly (unless maybe you don't bake or need a fast dessert to serve), but the clerk/cashier was pleasant and the interior was clean, so we appreciated that. The high Yelp reviews for this place misled us. To each his own, I guess. read more

Ordered a special birthday cake. Checking the cake before leaving, I noticed they didn't write "Happy Birthday" on the cake. To remedy the situation, they slapped a plastic "happy birthday" cheap sign rather than write in icing. Thats right - a "custom" cake, but instead of piping out the message on the cake, just put a cheap sign on it. Also, the cake was dry. I was so embarrassed as most of the guests are in the hospitality industry. If you have a special occasion, skip this one and go to Publix. They at least write on the cakes. read more

Excellent pies I got a key lime and a lemon lemon meringue to bring to a friends house for Thanksgiving. Everybody loved them. Stopped here on the way home from Indian Rocks Beach. We have never been to The Pie Factory. We attempted to stop once with some friends and they were closed for the week. On today's first time visit I was welcomed and offered a sample of their famous key lime pie. I decided that this would be the slice I would order. It was $4 and I didn't find it to be a large piece of pie. It was good and tasted fresh. We also ordered s coffee to go with. I wasn't blown away by their pie, but it was good. I would definitely stop by again to try something different another day. The have seating available inside and a nice seating area outside. Also, a very large parking lot. read more

I've bought and made several key lime pies, and The Pie Factor Key Lime is excellent. Nice graham cracker crust with a bit of whipped cream border. Recipe us from Key West according to Bobby, one of the bakers. Will update this review after I have some Boston Cream pie, which I also bought, although they do freeze the BC after making. Very nice shop with a nice eat-in area. Very large selection of full pies and also by-the-slice. See the attached brochure! read more
