    Large authentic biscottis!
    Landee F.

This bakery is a hole-in-the-wall on the Main street of Safety Harbor...it's tiny, but mighty! For the size, they really have a large variety of freshly baked treats. They have a lot of different authentic biscottis & many delightful bars and cakes! They have several different soft-style cookies in jars that are sold per cookie so it's a great way to try several good sized cookies without breaking the bank (I believe it was $1.75 a cookie). I grabbed a few of their bars to try & they were all super fresh- really do taste like a grandma's family recipe! My favorite was the blueberry cream crumb bar- Excellent crumble topping, lots of blueberries, & a delightful cream layer! The cake is so light and fluffy...perfectly crafted. The coconut cream pie bar is a star & only available on weekends. It's really hard to find a tasty coconut cream pie in the area so I'm thankful to finally find a good one! Gotta give a big thank you to the 2 guys running this bakery- that's a lot of hard work making such a variety of goodies...clearly made from the heart!

Somehow I feel like my reviews are being removed or disappearing but !!! I'm going to review Joey biscotti again because they are that good. Every dessert is done well here from their insanely good cookies to this Ny crumb cake. The ny crumb cake has a slightly crunchy crumb crust with a sour cream infused cake . You don't really taste the sour cream and it's their to provide moisture. The cookies are among the top 5 I've had in Clearwater and a must try. I usually opt for the more plain flavors so I got the chocolate chip and walnut. It's everything you wanted in a cookie , crispy on the outside and soft on the inside . Do yourself a favor and try Joey biscottis you'll love it

In 2007, this sweet shoppe opened its doors in this now 101-yr-old town. Recently, it won The People's Choice Award for Safety Harbor. Bakery master/owner Joey greeted us. We learned that his favorite dessert is his Coconut Cream Pie, which unfortunately had already sold out by the time we arrived. All our bakery items were (are) fresh & delicious. I especially LOVED LOVED LOVED the Chocolate Bailey's Irish Cream brownie. It was SO much more than a "brownie"! My daughter (who seldom eats desserts) is STILL talking about how moist & delicious the Blueberry Crumb Cake & Amaretto Almond Cake were! She's already requested a return visit:-) Prices were standard for a bakery in the Tampa Bay area. Foolish I forgot to buy at least one of the bakery's namesake: biscotti, of which there were 8 varieties available (see pic). I'll definitely return for a try! The interior is quaint & clean. Award ribbons adorn the walls. It's an adorable little shoppe draped in blue & white. There are two tables inside, & a table for two outside near the sidewalk. I hadn't realized what a fascinating old town Safety Harbor is. I'm thrilled we stumbled upon it, & very happy we decided to step into this bakery to be introduced to SWEET CULINARY EXCELLENCE! UPDATE: Six days later I returned w/ friends. The popular Stoner's Brownie was definitely interesting, but it cannot compete w/ the Bailey's Irish Cream. The Raspberry brownie was CRAZY GOOD, & the Peanut Butter one was good. All winners:)

If you have a sweet tooth...this is your spot!! So many choices to choose from. Everything was made in the shoppe My family and I stopped in here on the way to Clearwater Beach it was a little out of the way but well worth it. The owner was very nice explain all the treats we asked about it was nice to have him to do that. I'm guessing this is the "downtown area" there wasn't much to (from what we saw). It's a nice little shop with several awards on the wall for different treats. I ordered the crumb cake, butter pecan biscotti (he has over 10 varieties of different biscotti's). The cake was gone before we made it to the hotel. My after dinner treat was the biscotti with a cup of hot tea...my taste buds were doing the happy dance. Prices weren't bad, they have street and a large parking lot across the street. If you're ever in the area and you are looking for a sweet treat this is the place for you!! No outside seating so you and your treats will have to leave...lol

Delicious homemade sweets in the heart of Safety Harbor. I read a ton of Yelp reviews about this bakery, so I had it bookmarked for a while. I was meeting with another business nearby, so I decided to pop over to grab a few sweets. There was a sign that said back in 10 minutes. Only for a bakery that has this good Yelp reviews would I wait outside in the Florida summer heat for ten minutes. I was literally sweating by the time the owner came back to open the door, but it was well worth it. This is the quintessential locally owned and operated business. That's why when the owner has something to do, more often than not the shop has to put up a be back soon sign. There is no one else working in this little bakery. The owner is also the person baking all the goods. I love homemade sweets, so I was won over before I even tried anything. They have a good array of biscotti and other baked goods. It rotates often, so you'll have to keep coming back to try a new favorite. I had a hard time choosing, but I ended up going with the Salted Caramel Cheesecake and the Stoner's Delight. I know others have waxed poetics about the Stoner's Delight, but the Salted Caramel Cheesecake stole the show for me. I love the juxtaposition of salty and sweet. You can see the sea salt on the top of the cheesecake. It was divine. I enjoyed the Stoner's Delight, but I probably would try something else next time. It is a combination of peanut butter, chocolate, rice krispies, and marshmallow. It has a ton of other ingredients, but those were the ones that stuck out to me. This is a small shop, so plan to take your baked goods to go. I know I'm going to make regular stops here every time I'm in the area. Make sure you bring a friend so you can try more!

Super cute bakery. Great variety. Toffee brownies, key lime with coconut bars, salted caramel cheesecake & stoner's delight all jumped out at us. Our favorite was the salted Carmel cheesecake. Nice balance of salt & caramel without being overly sweet. They also had lots of other things we'd love to try next visit like scones, delicious varieties of cookies and cakes. Just wished they sold espresso drinks to go with our yummy take away treats but there's a good coffee place a few blocks up.

Yum yum yummmm! Stopped in to grab a variety of desserts for a family get together & we were supper impressed with this bakery! The apple strudel cheese cake bar was my favorite!! A close second was the coconut keylime bar and the sour cream crumb cake! We tried one of each cookie as well, the butterscotch was a bit sweet for my taste but the cowboy cookie was soooo decadent and delicious! This is a small store front meant mostly for grab and go delectables. This bakery is a great place to stop on your way to the safety harbor pier so you can enjoy a sweet treat and a gorgeous view! They also offer cakes (no decorations) for events by reservations as long as you order them 1 week ahead of time. I am looking forward to ordering a cake for my daughters birthday from Joey Biscotti!!

They said it is and despite it being $7 it was promptly brought out in a styrofoam cup like one might get from a gas station. What was contained in said cup was what can only be described as a simulacrum of a vanilla and coconut scented candle. It was explained to me that the cold brew was in fact Joffrey's mix and it's Jamaican Me Crazy Flavored. The drink was disposed of. No refund was offered. Had no appetite for cheesecake at that point. Our other drink was served hot instead of iced. Nice outdoor seating. Update to respond to owner- Wow, I appreciate your response but it was not quite "accurate" itself. When I took the cold brew inside to ask about what I was served and was informed that it was not made in house as I was told, and that it was flavored (specifically not what I had requested) I explained I couldn't drink it and asked what could be done. They said "at this point nothing." I think dropped the drink in the trash in front of them. I returned outside, wrote my review, and told the people I was with. My 13 year old niece who I was visiting said "that's insane, I'm going to go get your refund." And sure enough they did! But my review had been written. According to her your staff was not at all accommodating about the refund, but they did provide it. Also, as for etiquette concerns for the party I was visiting family and friends that were already on your patio. I can't vouch for how long they were there or what they did or did not receive. So to recap- I came in with my sister, we ordered 2 drinks. Both were wrong. One was fixed and the other was disposed of. There was a refund after the fact but not to me.

In fact, the staff couldn't be nicer, and they were quite patient as I spent some time ogling the bakery case making my decisions. My selections were all sweets today. Blueberry croissant - a first for me and utterly delicious (couldn't wait to get home and had to have a bite in my car!). An almond and chocolate croissant - the gold standards. To call this French is an insult to France! I was born and…read moreraised in France, getting my bakery goods in the mornings from bakery down the street. The ambience was nice and so was service, but that's where the good things end. This was a disaster and shameful that it's called French. Serving croissants and eclairs and putting French names to menu items does not make something French. We ordered a turkey omelette with eggs on top, an eclair, a chocolate croissant, a croissant with ham and cheese and tomato and lettuce, and a cream filled beignet. Let's start with the bakery goods. All bakery goods should be made fresh that same morning. The croissants, and pastries all should be flaky and taste fresh. These were hard as if they were all yesterday's leftovers. The filling on the beignet was obviously a Jell-O pudding mix, and definitely not homemade. The eclair for some reason had some kind of supposed chantilly cream and raspberry instead of the traditional filling, and both of those fillings were also all store-bought. The eclair was also stale and tasted like it had been in the fridge since yesterday. The omelette was an absolute joke. If you look at the picture I posted, my index finger was actually taller than the entire omelette which is supposed to be filled with ham and cheese as you can see from the post photo. The ham and cheese were also packaged meat and cheese as you can tell since they all were sliced exactly in the same way and same size and tasted processed, and the cheese wasn't even melted completely. The omelette was just incredibly dry and bland. The croissant suffered from the same disease. It was hard, not flaky, and tasted stale as if it had been made yesterday, and all of the meat and cheese was obviously packaged meat and cheese which tasted processed. This tastes nothing like anything you would find at any French bakery in France. In France. Everything is made the same day, and the moment it starts going stale and stops being flaky, is thrown away. This is an absolute insult to French bakeries. Even if you compare it to other American bakeries and breakfast places, nothing tasted good and for that price, it should. Definitely avoid this place. I know I will.
