Lots of healthy options for food, beverages, and coffees. Desserts too. Soup was delicious (and i'm not a huge soup person). You order at the front then grab silverware and a seat. From there it's like a traditional restaurant, they bring you food and clear the table for you. It was a very cold day but they hang blankets to enclose the patio which also had heaters. I didn't realize how sweet the coffee i ordered was and asked for a remake; they accommodated me which they didn't have to do and i really appreciated that. Will be back. read more

I was lucky enough to have errands to run in Davidson today and got to have lunch here. Since working from home I don't have enough time to come up this way...and how I miss their salads. Got one of my favorites-the falafel salad. Delicious as always. read more

The turkey sandwich was amazing! Fresh food! Also got the white chocolate pistachio cookie 10/10

Fun spot in Davidson that offers great food and a variety of food options including gluten friendly. I am a repeat customer but don't go in a rush as the line / time to get food can take a while at times. read more

The ham and pickled peach sandwich was terrific. Service was very pleasant, and a real pleasure after getting off a flight.

Best lunch with adorable tables out back! Shaved beet and goat cheese grilled sandwich amazing and tomato soup incredibly yummy! read more

The Pickled Peach - Such an amazing lunch for our family! Yummy vegetarian and vegan options! Kids had grilled cheese amd best tomato soup! Cute tables outside - New American Near Me - Davidson, North Carolina

Only one person was taking orders for a very long line and food was slow which is fine but when my sandwich finally came out it was cold. I asked for it to be remade which the service was great but it then took an additional 15 minutes. We then ordered a mimosa and it was 90% orange juice but service was good and corrected the issue. read more

In the wake of bad college dining food this restaurant is a literal saving grace!! Everything here tastes so fresh and just makes me feel so cozy. I love that there pastry case is constantly changing and I have never had one I don't like. My one complaint? It's too popular ! But for good reason cause it's so so good read more

The absolute BEST grilled cheese sandwiches I have ever eaten. I wish I had a picture but I ate it all! Yum.

Seriously delish. Although the food does take a little while to come out, trust me - it's worth the wait! I ordered the soup of the day (broccoli lemon parmesan), the orzo salad (mushrooms, spinach, orzo, lemon), and a ginger kombucha. One of the best lunches I've had in a long while. I left full (but comfortable). Truly wished we lived closer, although I'd probably spend all my money there. Basically, if you're wanting a cute local place serving delicious food (and drinks) made fresh from local farms, this is your place. Go. Now. read more

I really liked the food, and the outdoor area to eat was really nice. Service was great, we got our food quickly and overall had a great visit. read more

This place is great- passing through going to Charlotte and stumbled upon this gem. I got the falafel salad and it was so fresh and tasty! The gluten/vegan free pastries were very delicious. I actually ate here 3 more times during my stay in Charlotte- it was only a 15 min drive from my Airbnb. read more

The food was very good. However the peach sandwich only had a slice in the middle. The customer places an order with the cashier and the staff brings it out to you. It's not the most efficient as they just call out names or approach wrong tables instead of using numbers or some sort of ID. I had to get the attention of staff and ask for a refill for my ice tea but I had to go back to the cashier to get it, even though the staff passed back-and-forth, they never once asked if we needed anything. That could be an improvement for this nice restaurant. read more

Super yummy spot for lunch. Always fresh and delicious. Made even better by some upgrades to their outside dining area which have made it year-round and not so hot in the summer. Cheers to y'all for doing this! I do agree with Latonya that the falafel can be a little hard sometimes, I have actually sent mine back once but the second attempt was great. They have organic wines and desserts for all types of foodies, vegan, gluten free, etc. A great find in my hometown! Just know that at lunch time you might have a little wait for a table as this is a popular spot. read more

I came here for a cookie and water. Not on purpose, but I was having coffee and lunch somewhere else and happened to nearby. And since it was bookmarked I had to try something! The seating is outdoors. So, you order and then take your food outside. The patio is decently sized and open. It can get a tad hot depending on the day. It was nicely decorated and had cute plants on each table. The service was good. I would like to try this place again for some other food next time I'm in the neighborhood. read more

Usually the food is great - but be careful ordering the pulled chicken. Mine was full of large pieces of chicken bone - really sharp. I told the staff (2 different people) and they acknowledged my concern but didn't seem particularly bothered by it. read more

Seating was tight. The food was great, very fresh. The service was on point. Great stop in a quaint town.

Lovely little cafe in downtown Davidson. It's small inside, but plenty of room on its cute patio, half of which is covered and half exposed. They have local products and a chalkboard stating their farmers and producers, which I always love. You place your order and they bring it out to you. Aside from sandwiches, salads and soups, they also have delicious baked goods (cookies, brownies, bars and ice cream sandwiches). The oatmeal cookie sandwich is fantastic, I love how the cookies stay chewy and soft. I tried the falafel salad. It only comes with two falafels, but they are tasty. You also get some Pita chips and a tzatziki dip. I'd recommend adding something to it since you're not getting a lot of protein. Love that they also have spin drift drinks! I'll have to try a latte next time. Love this little spot though, can't wait to try More. read more

Great service and atmosphere. Menu is different and love trying new things each time. They haven't disappointed yet!

My favorite thing about having to go up to Davidson. Order the White Bean Hummus sandwich with both avocado and mozzarella. You won't be disappointed. I also love the little side salad/appetizer they include in each meal. Its not substantial, just a little teaser, but definitely worth the free add. Definitely make a pit stop here. read more

Amazing food and very nice service. The place just smells amazing a feels so homey whenever I'm there.

The flavor of the food was okay, but the portions are tiny. The side of slaw was maybe an ounce, not really a side. Sandwiches were very small for $10. I guess it's about the experience, but the staff wasn't super friendly. From the good things I'd heard about this place, I was a bit disappointed. read more

Fresh delicious food. Great Service! Grandson's favorite place too! Highly recommend.

Numerous employees either not wearing a mask or wearing them improperly. The inside is very small so the lack of care for others in such a small place is unfortunate. read more

This is a great spot! Prices were very reasonable and the staff was super friendly. I got the meatball sub and my wife got some chicken sandwich and we both liked them a lot. The seating out back is really cool and has a great feel to it! We had our 1 year old with us and they hooked us up with a high chair too. Would definitely come back if I am ever in Davidson again! read more

The Pickled Peach - The sinful assortment of goodies! - New American Near Me - Davidson, North Carolina

We recently did whole 30, and can I say pickled peach saved me. I wasn't able to eat out much but when I was really itching to at least I could find a space. Their food is fresh in a bit unique but oh so good. I was able to get a braised beef collared wrap with avocado beets and pickled stuff. It was wonderful. For my non-whole 30 days, I love any of their salads and their BLT which comes on cornbread and sometimes will have a fried green tomato, which is amazing! They serve beer and wine. They have limited hours. They have interesting sides but all very good. They have an option of four different unsweetened flavored teas, coffee, and baked goods that are out of this world. Located in downtown Davidson with a fantastic extra-large patio overlooking the park. Enjoy! read more

Always a great stop for lunch/brunch, a drink of your choice (coffee, tea, beer, wine, etc..) and just hang out and catch up with friends or for work. You can't go wrong with their take on a BLT, the Meatball, or the Cornmeal Shrimp sandwiches, but they're all great. read more

We came for lunch and it was a great little find in Davidson! They have a covered outdoor patio, which was perfect since it was raining. We got the burrata salad and meatball sub with a coffee and cappuccino. I would highly recommend this for a fast casual meal if you're looking for somewhere with a cafe atmosphere. They have a little bit of everything - coffee, alcohol, food, and dessert. read more

Farm to Fork but Service Could be Better First thing that you notice when you walk in the the large blackboard hung up on the wall with all of the names of farms to provide the ingredients for you meal. Nice touch. Biggest problem with the restaurant is lack of service to the point of even getting someone to answer a basic quesiton. It was our first time there Sunday before last and my wife wanted to know what the soups were and could not get anyone to answer that basic question. Not that they were that busy but they were just not involved with the clientle. I ordered a Green Tomato and Pork Belly of Fresh Baked Sour Dough that was very good. My wife started with lukewarm Lentil Soup that was very bland. Her salad was better but not outstanding. No indoor seating to speak of so everyone sat on the porch. The porch was very nice but the temperature was only in the 80's so probably not that comfortable on hot humid days or January could be a trial. We'll try again in the near future. Food was good and the concept is very good but the service aspect needs to be workeed on. read more

Only a few joints in downtown open for lunch during the Covid pandemic. Menu looked promising so we checked it out. Get in line to order at the counter and they (eventually) bring it out to a patio table. Picked the Reuben & Pulled Chicken sandwiches. Took forever for the food to finally be delivered to our tables, and then it was practically inedible. How hard is it to make a Reuben ? The Pulled Chicken was probably Pork (by mistake?) but hard to tell as it was utterly dark & tasteless. Staff was unfriendly, bordering on rude. And while we were dining they decided it was a good time to clean the large plexiglass dividers out on the deck, one of which came crashing down into a heat lamp & hit the table next to us. So if the food doesn't kill you, the infrastructure might. read more

What a darling little place! Another Friday lunch excursion and another winner! The restaurant has a deli counter set up, with fresh salads, assortment of sodas, teas, beers, and homemade desserts on display. I regret having eaten a large breakfast that day, because everything looked so good! I decided to go with the ham sandwich, since it had pickled peaches on it. (I'll let you connect the dots) It was served on a two pieces of toasted, buttery challah bread. In case you didn't know butter equals love. Then it was topped off with shaved ham, melted brie and the pickled peaches. Pure bliss! The experience in itself was pleasant. Our food took a little longer than I would have liked, but they were slammed, so I can understand. The outdoor patio is a great spot to people watch and see the coming and goings of downtown Davidson. All staff members were pleasant and one of the owners walked around giving out chip samples, during our wait to order, which I appreciated. Prices were are on the high side for a deli experience, but considering that all the ingredients are fresh, local and handmade, I can get down with it. I'll certainly give this place another go! read more

Loved this charming restaurant. Interesting menu of sandwiches, salads, and baked goods - excellent selection of gluten free things! I had the Blue Ridgr cookie which was delicious and every bit as good as one I make at home. Lots of outdoor seating in addition to covered seating. I had a shaved beet sandwich with Arjuna and goat cheese - the beets were a bit crunchier than I was expecting but it was a good sandwich. My husband's Reuben was also delish. This edition of Excited about Eating takes us to a neat little eatery serving fresh sandwiches, soups, and salads along with cookies, cakes, and coffees. Pickled Peach Handcrafted Foods is a simple neighborly establishment in the college town of Davidson, NC. Dora here. I love this little community where colorful main street shop windows invite you to wander in and browse, where people stop to chat as if they've been friends forever, and where sitting outside and lingering over coffee or lunch seems the most natural thing to do on a Sunday afternoon. The Pickled Peach is tucked into the back of a building, one of those places that draws you in with their covered (and heated, if necessary) patio. Or, if you prefer, you can sit outside and soak in the sun and fresh air. Their small inside boasts a few bar stools as well, but we noticed that most everybody ordered at the counter and then meandered out to the deck. Such a relaxing, comfortable vibe! For my lunch, I chose the Cornmeal Fried Shrimp sandwich with butter lettuce on a long roll. The large, perfectly-executed shrimp combined flawlessly with the spicy mayo, greens and the crispy roll. The Sweet Potato salad, roasted sweet potatoes, peashoots, walnuts, lemon zest, and a mustard vinaigrette, zinged with an interesting blend of flavors. Dora here. I agree. First time ever eating that combo, but it worked. The citrus taste gave it a light, fresh flavor and the greens added texture to the soft sweet taters. Different, in a good way. The Slow Braised and Pulled Chicken sandwich. What can I say? This sandwich had my name written all over it! lol. Pulled chicken with just enough ginger and apple cider in the slaw to whisper that it was there. OH MY YUM! Delicious!! And we couldn't resist sharing the Coconut Chewie Cookie. Check out the size of this monster cookie! Tell me you could pass by that huge chunk of sweetness?:) BTW, this restaurant (actually, most restaurants in this community) isn't into artificial annnnyyyyything, so if you prefer a particular brand of sweetener, bring your own. Try to pass by this huge chunk of sweetness, I dare you! (Coconut Chewie Cookie) What features draw you in to a restaurant? No debate here. This place was a gem to find! Especially for a gluten free out-of-towner. I came for the delicious sounding sandwiches that I could get on gluten free bread but was amazed to find gluten free brownies, cookies and apple crumble bread pudding waiting for me to choose from as well. Such a cute set up, clearly run with love and care. Definitely stop by for a delicious bite to eat- gluten free or not! read more

I love this restaurant and have been going for years. Although it is a bit expensive for the portions of the plates, it's usually worth it. My husband and I could eat here everyday! He got the roast beef sandwich and I got the falafel salad. This was our first time here and fell in love. We just moved to the area and are so happy we have the Pickled Peach to enjoy! We had visitors with us, one is a vegan and they had options for her as well! There is a menu that tells you where the food came from! I will be posting pictures of everyone's meals! They also serve beer and wine, come for dinner they are open until 7, or when they run out of food! There was a note the day before we tried to go, they closed early for that reason! They also have great coffee! I had an iced blueberry muffin :). Not only was the food amazing, but the staff was very friendly and helpful!! We can't wait to come back and take more visitors here!! read more
