Loaded buttermilk breakfast bisquit.

The perfect crumb bakery just moved to Pacific Grove from their long standing spot in Monterey and locals and visitors alike are thrilled. Baked daily offerings include croissants, muffins, cakes cookies and more. The coffee choices are just as delicious and abundant. But our favorite is the morning breakfast sandwich, a fresh made buttermilk biscuit loaded to the brim with eggs, bacon, cheese and hash browns. It will hold you til supper! Don't miss this new local gem.

Stopped by today and enjoyed a ginger molasses cookie and a cappuccino. Delicious!

Service was fast, cookie was delicious. Happy to see another local spot open up. I will be stopping by again.

I got a few cupcakes to celebrate my son's birthday. The inside of the store is beautiful. The owner was there and she was very nice and was vey informative about her pastries! There was a small area to snack in, but I was in a little rush. I'm not certain if there is a restroom. As for the cupcakes... I got 3 different cupcakes. I got a strawberry, chocolate & vanilla. The strawberry & vanilla cupcakes unfortunately were not the greatest. The worst part of biting into a cupcake is getting that cornbread muffin texture inside. The strawberry & vanilla cupcakes tasted that way. The frosting was excellent. The chocolate cupcake was good. Would I go back? Yes, to try some other dishes. Price: $15

Nice cozy little spot that isn't too far from the beach! Good coffee and nice little selection of baked goods. Some cookies, some cupcakes, and slices of cake. The woman behind the counter definitely seemed like she didn't wanna work through. Maybe she was just tired. But we ordered 4 drinks and her patience got thinner immediately. The place was empty so it wasn't like she was slammed with other orders. She just had a bit of attitude. But other than that it was fine. The dessert was good and the cold brew was delicious!

We got the chocolate croissant here with my husband. Flavor was there, I can see how if it was fresh and warm it would be nice, but we feel it was a bit dry in this case. Again I feel if it was fresh and warm it would be actually delightful!

This was such a cute store front and good selection of baked treats! The staff was pretty attentive, but wasn't as familiar with the flavors or icing details. I went purely on what looked good for the chocolate and vanilla galaxy looking cupcakes, and they were solid choices. Fairly moist cake base, yet the butter cream frosting consistency was overwhelming. Yet when I tell you the real star of the show was the carrot cake cupcake, please don't just believe me. Try it for yourself. It was moist and fresh and the cream cheese icing was smooth and not super sweet. Enjoy!

Thankfully it's a cute street with cute lights so it was a vibe. Sadly, they don't allow taste testing of flavors but they said that they would replace your order if you don't like what you ordered. Still, it would be nice to be able to test it, maybe limit it to 2-3 flavors per person? I really wouldn't want to get back in line. The flavors I got to try were quite good. The Bees knees is award winning, so we felt like we had to get that but it was very underwhelming. While in line they were playing a video showing how they made their ice cream from scratch, and there was this crunchy dessert they broke into smaller pieces and mixed in with this ice cream, but I could not taste it. Plus the honey was so subtle. It felt more like a vanilla ice cream for the majority of the time. It still is a nice clean light flavor, but it would have been nice to pull the honey flavor forward a bit more. We also tried the eucalyptus mint chip which also had a light crisp flavor, mint was not too overpowering and the eucalyptus scent hit your nose first before you finish with the cooling mint. Exactly as advertised. Good if you like this combo of scent and flavor. My mom got the cold brew coffee and wow was that really good. If you are a coffee lover, you will enjoy it. Not too bitter, very balanced. My sister, sister's husband and kids also got ice cream, but I can't recall which flavors. They seemed to really enjoy it so all in all, the whole family loved this ice cream night. Overall, very pleased with quality and service. Would come back and try again.

Unfortunately, you can't sample the ice cream, so you just have to trust that it's good.

Excellent little Paraguayan snack bar!!…read more I saw this spot while scrolling thru Yelp's nearby function and curiosity of their yerba mate and empanadas brought me in. I was still feeling kind of sick but wanted something hot to drink so I ordered a mate latte with oat milk. I also had one of their beef empanadas to take away so I could eat it later. Mate latte was great and definitely would get this drink again. They also have a smoked mate drink and I would definitely come back to try this too! You have to like yerba mate to fully appreciate this drink. The mate latte is kind of a light version of what mate is like. Maybe start with this first to prepare you for traditional mate. If you get traditional mate, be prepared to have your mouth jolted and doing jumping jacks, its definitely stimulating and I love it! Later when I reached my destination, I ate the beef empanada with chimichurri sauce provided and it was delicious! After I polished it off, I had wished I brought a few more to take with me. But, at $9.50 a piece, they aren't cheap, so keep that in mind. They also have other Paraguayan/South American offerings here and I was so tempted to get a mini alfajor as it was eyeing me in the display case that said EAT ME (like Alice in Wonderland), but I did not give into this, but I so wish I did!! I will definitely come back here again and again when visiting Monterey! A true gem and next time, I have to check out their secret back garden too!

The Turkish delights were basically edible art with petals, pistachios, and vibrant colors. And the baklava? Sitting there like it knew it was about to win. The Turkish delight tasted overly artificial, almost perfumey in a bad way. The marshmallow rolls had a weird paste-like texture. Baklava was fine, but nothing special. Also, the packaging? A struggle to close and somehow managed to give me a legit paper cut. Love that for me. Great location, beautiful presentation--but the taste just doesn't justify the price. Pretty, but meh.

It didn't look like it died down which is awesome for this business. I believe I waited 20-30 minutes in line before I reached the display case. There were so many delicious things to choose from, it was a challenge to decide! I opted for a croissant sandwich, a blue corn cookie, and some sweet treats for the beach. I also ordered a seasonal latte, I believe it was cherry chocolate with oat milk less sweet. There's a nice outdoor seating area with many tables in chairs. Since the weather was nice we decided to stop and eat for a bit. The ambience was very nice and calm. The food was delicious and their house made pickles were fantastic. They were crisp, fresh, and complimented the turkey sandwich so well. The blue corn cookie was very interesting and reminiscent of a tortilla chip. The salmon croissant was alright, had a really nice flaky crust but the filling tasted kinda gamey , would've been nice to have another component to balance it out. Cookies were niceeeee the buckwheat choco cookie had nice amounts of sea salt and was like a brownie texture on the inside. Choco chip cookie was thin and crispy on the outside with chocolate blobs spread around, quite sweet though There was a line going out the door but only had to wait around 15 min!

Some people (like me) were given a buzzer thing that was supposed to let you know when your ice cream was ready to pick up at a separate counter. Some people where just asked their names and their names were called when their order was ready. Unfortunately, the person taking my order forgot to enter it into the computer system until I asked if my buzzer thing was working because it had taken an awfully long time to get a simple small shake. If you are able to find a seat outside at the rear of the store overlooking Monterey Bay the view is awesome, but there is not much of a view from inside seating nor the courtyard seating in the front of the store. They need an assigned person to patrol both inside and outside eating and seating areas since there is such a high volume of customers, the eating and seating surfaces need to be better cleaned. The shake was OK, nothing spectacular and it was less ice cream than milky (I saw them adding liquid to the ice cream machine just before my order was prepared so maybe it had not had enough time to freeze properly). As with most Cannery Row businesses there is no parking close by. This business does not seem to have any bathroom facilities nor anywhere for parents to wash off the sticky sweet treats from the hands and faces of their kids.
