Came here for dinner with a few friends. Good cocktail, had a few old fashions. Which were done right, as evident by the fully pure and clear king ice cube. For dinner, had the market fish, delicious. read more

Really nice spot. Just needed a spot to eat and get some school work done. Customer service was on point and the ribs were so good..I'll pass on the cornbread only because I don't like pieces of corn in my cornbread. Other than that...I will be back. read more

I love the beer and food options. I went here for brunch and they had a really nice brunch menu option, which I ordered off of. Their selection of cocktails and beer is very good. The breakfast sandwich was very delicious! The vibe of the place is very instagramable. We also didn't have a reservation and only had to wait 40 minutes. Love it overall! read more

A girlfriend and I went to The Perch a few weeks ago for a weekday lunch. I had heard great things about the place so was excited to check it out. They offer outdoor and indoor seating and it was a nice week, so I made reservations for an outdoor table for 11:30AM. Upon reading the reviews, we were really excited to try the Lobster Deviled Eggs but were disappointed find out that they had been sold out already. It was only 11:30, so it was surprising that they weren't able to make more. Maybe lobster was hard to come by that day? Our waitress certainly was not interested in providing us more details. Anyway, we shared the Brussel Sprouts salad, Cheeseburger, and Grilled Mahi-Mahi sandwich. Everything tasted alright, but nothing blew my mind as the reviews suggested. We also felt a bit rushed by the waiting staff. Maybe I'll have to come back right at opening one day for the deviled eggs. read more

Great experience! Would recommend! Brought my family from out of town and they couldn't stop complimenting it.

Solid food! Had the Grilled Mahi Mahi burger with avocado with a side of grilled slaw! Simply refreshing during a summer day! The shrimp appetizer with the mango pico was also delightful and extremely flavorful! The service was great and the place had a great atmosphere as people were enjoying memorial day weekend! Will come again! read more

Great atmosphere, that's what makes this place great to me! Food is just ok, not bad but not noteworthy. Overall great wicker park spot!

I've been here before durning a city dining event and it was great so I wanted to come back with my sister. I was pretty shocked by the difference. Our server must not have been in a good mood that day. We received the wrong item and the food they did get correct was sadly not the flavor dishes I remembered from my first visit. I would not recommend the cinnamon roll. I'm giving three stars cause the ambiance of this place is still great and the croquettes are always delicious. I'm hoping they were just having an off day. I will update if I go again. read more

Great quality, solid menu. We had the cornbread (amazing), Cauliflower Steak (pretty yummy), Baby Back ribs (fall-off-the-bone style), and the Grilled Ribeye steak (star of the night). However I came here to give a review just to give a special shoutout to Neal, one of the most attentive and skilled servers I've had in years. He was one step ahead of us the entire night, and even noticed that the ribeye was medium instead of medium rare. Although we didn't care because it was so delicious as-is. What an A+ experience. read more

Had a great opportunity to try this place on a weekend trip in Chicago. We decided on brunch and walked to the restaurant Saturday mornings , very impressed at adapting to the COVID regulations. We were able to sit in the front patio and had everything delivered very fast. Service was phenomenal. Food was great too, highly recommend splitting a blueberry cornbread for the table and prime rib hash makes for a great brunch meal. read more

Great food, great service, craft beers had their own unique taste. Definitely will come again with more friends!

Overrated and expensive compared to other places on Division French dip was small and not very good. Service was great though so they have that going for them. read more

Great spot for lunch or dinner. I went recently with a friend of mine and we both ordered the Wrightwood salad. Not only was the service really good, but the food was ready within 15 minutes. We both really enjoyed our meals and the atmosphere. I will definitely be back. I heard they have a good brunch I'd love to try! read more

was invited to attend The Perch's Masquerade Murder Mystery Party. not sure what to expect, but boy, did we have fun! The players were wonderful - dynamic, sharp-witted, good-humored, and talented. Their costumes were cool, and so were all the wonderful masks and costumes among the guests. Everyone played along with the "investigation" and all were good sports about not correctly identifying the killer. And if all that weren't enough, the food was excellent, too. Nice menu. Deeply flavored dishes, well prepared and nicely presented. Top notch waitstaff. Rollicking good fun. Laissez les bons temps roulez at The Perch, people! read more

Love our experience tonight!! We had 4 adults and 4 kids, the service was great!! ( thanks Jimmy) the food was wonderful (cheese curds, artichokes and prime rib, bone in strip steak and short rib) and the drinks well made. Will be back for sure! read more

While walking by The Perch daily, I noticed that the elevated decor through the windows, sidewalk patio and backyard patio. I knew this was a restaurant that I had to visit. Our first time there, I was looking for a place for casual drinks on a Saturday night. I was surprised to find a reservation through their website only 2 hours before. When we got to the restaurant they had hand sanitizer and touches temperature device to keep up with the sanitary conditions. We were led to the backyard patio and it was such a cute and magical place- ivy covered and crept up the walls of the building with various styles of seating. There were also ample heaters available for the cool evening. They also have a QR code at the bottom of the check where you can pay on your phone without exchanging cash or your credit card! Gimlet: Great vodka drink with fresh flavors. Can tell that they use elevated products in their drinks and not pre-made syrups. I would order again, but I did think the size of the drink was on the smaller end for the price. Romeo in Black Jeans: I am not a fan of IPAs but the tropical pineapple and melon flavors lead us to this draft. Great choice! Can't wait to go back and try some of their rotisserie items! We walked past the rotisserie and wished we did not come straight from dinner! UPDATE: went back for lunch and had their chicken dip sandwich with the rotisserie chicken they have! Chicken is perfectly good glad I have a to go spot when I'm craving a good healthy sandwich!! Wish the meat was a little more seasoned but still enjoyed it. Got a salad as my side, comes with a deviled egg which I also loved! read more

Beautiful space. Excellent service. Great craft beer. Everything we ordered was delicious. The steak sliders is to die for and what we always come back for. I noticed alot of people pushing the lobster deviled eggs but that is the only thing I've had that is mediocre. However, If they go the way of vaccine card, they will lose me. read more

Super nice brunch meal. Went for restaurant week so it was very busy. We sat in the beer garden - it is covered and has many heaters that keep you warm but you will definitely need to dress warm since you are still outside. Super bright inside and out and the food and drink was very good! Would recommend here - would love to come back in the summer time when the beer garden is a little warmer! read more

We made reservations and were sat right away but it took 20 minutes before our server came to us which was confusing because there were many. We noticed a lot of people who sat prior to us were being served. Once our server came to us, drinks took another 20 and the bartender had to bring them to us because they were sitting there. What took so long? Our server kept going back to a table, laughing and drinking with who we assumed were his friends. Once he finally came and asked us what we wanted to order it had been over 40 minutes since we had been seated. Another server came and served us each of our plates. Our server was still at that table laughing away. We felt inclined to let the manager know and he apologized. The food was good but I won't be back. read more

This restaurant is solid 4.5*. It has a nice outdoor seating and pleasant atmosphere. We ordered deviled eggs, the calypso shrimp and soup for starters, the Wrightwood salad, ribs and salmon for entrees, and beerfogato for dessert. The shrimps were absolutely delicious! That taste and that smell from the grill...yum! I wish there was more of them in the serving portion. The salad and the salmon were very tasty, ribs were ok, we didn't care for the lobster deviled eggs ( I make better at home, so would skip those next time). So overall, food is good. The service was friendly, attentive and professional. It really made up for whatever little they were lacking in food. They have a short beer list, but a good one. I liked it because it's not your usual beer that you can get in any other restaurant. Definitely a good place. read more

Such a cute atmosphere. They have a little art garden and also a breezy front patio. Inside is adorable as well.. you can't go wrong with the prime rib hash. Also the turkey burger is to die for. Came here on a Monday evening, which was pretty busy because it was a really nice day in April, and people were out and about throughout the city. We were able to get a spot outside when we arrived at 6:15pm. We got the croquettes and the deviled eggs for appetizers, both of which were great. My friend got the roasted chicken, which she loved. I got the baby back ribs, also good. Forgot what our other friend got, but she enjoyed her food, too! Our server was very friendly and made good recommendations for drinks and such. Overall a great experience, I'd recommend to anyone! read more

I appreciate the great service and quality of food! thanks a ton, I'll be back for sure!

First time here. Loved the vibe. Wife was a bit cold and asked about turning on a fireplace in the corner. Met the GM Dominick. Super great guy and very accommodating. Great to see a manager that actually interacts with the guests. Server Jimmy was great as well. Was told by Dominick about the owner and his paintings. Very cool. Food was great. $39 was a bit steep for a super fatty and thin prime rib but it was tasty. Wife loved her turkey burger. Got the artichoke app and the Blue cheese chips. Very addictive. Dessert was banana pie and cobbler. We will definitely go back. read more

My mother has a list of places to go in Chicago with over 130 restaurants. We only have this week in Chicago and we went to The Perch yesterday for a light lunch. We received our food within 15 minutes, the Sliders, Brussel sprout salad, and croquettes. Everything tasted great, and we even plan to go back in two days. Of the 6 or so restaurants we have been to this week (on my moms list) The Perch is my only 5 star so far. read more

Blueberry cornbread and lobster deviled eggs were our favorite although the breakfast steak n eggs and the cheese curds did not disappoint. It looked busy so I felt like it would be good and it was even better! My dad and I ordered brunch with the blueberry corn bread skillet first and it was delicious! Then I got a chicken dip sandwich and he got the prime rib skillet and we totally annihilated both. The food is absolutely fantastic. Even though they were slammed the food came out so fast and fresh. Our waiter was a bartender but he was still on it and very attentive. I'm so coming here again!! read more

Wow! We came here for a little girls' brunch yesterday and this place is incredible. Wicked fast service, a beautiful outdoor patio, super COVID compliant, and not to mention the incredible food! Our server was amazing-- very attentive and when my friend asked whether we should get the Eggs Benedict or the Cinnamon rolls, she so effortlessly sold us on both! They even send me home with doggie biscuits for my little guy recovering from surgery. Indy loves The Perch too! We can't wait to go back. read more
