We stopped in for a quick drink before heading out of Chicago. We are happy we did. I got a michalittle and he got a few tastes of beer. We ordered the burger and it had grilled cheese on it. It was super cheesy and full of flavor. The double smash burger was filling and great for the price. It comes with fries and they taste just like McDonalds fries, we loved them! I wish we had found this place sooner or lived in Chicago. We would be regulars!

Tacos are AMAZING here. They are made fresh and hot. Be careful not to burn your tongue. The cheese is crispy and pan-fried to the tortilla. They give you a lot of the ingredients so it's hard to fold it and eat it. Get a fork! It spills out on your plate. The sauces that come with it adds that kick and extra flavor. I personally like the steak better than the chicken, but both are still good. Their smash burger is good too and it's a double patty. It's more on the salty side so make sure you get that drink on the side! I had the honey water and it tastes like kombucha. I had the Korean roasted barley drink which was very unique and different. I'm use to drinking the flavor as a hot tea so having it in a sparkling beverage form blew my mind bc it was so different. Not sure how I feel about it tbh.

The okc smashburger with an extra patty, added bacon. Excuse the messy counter in the background, it's my cousins haha

Really good brewery, great for drinks, great for the burgers, great for hanging out with a group of friends or family. The interior is nicely decorated with its own unique flair, oval shaped bar and nice custom wood feature above the middle of it. There's some TVs for games, a big pull down screen too. They have a nice glass area to see where they make the beers and also have a little store front with beers and merch to buy. Service is always great, attentive and friendly. The okc smash is great, I just wish they made a sauce for it, it's got a great crust on the smash and taste great. I was hungry so I added another patty and bacon because sometimes it be like that. They serve a wide variety of brews they make, cocktails (the manhattan is pretty good), and thc drinks. I've been a decent amount of times and will be going again.

I brought my mom here after a trip to zap props, and we were impressed with the overall atmosphere and food. I don't love ordering at the bar, but the folks working there were very helpful and kind. The beer was good, and we also got some loaded fries, a shrimp, quesadilla, and a Smashburger. Everything was very tasty. There were lots of little kids and babies there, which I appreciate because it can be difficult to find kid friendly places sometimes. Would definitely go back!

I already love the vibe of this place and all of their unique craft beer selections, but tried their food for the first time, specifically their smash burger and it was DELICIOUS.

Everything was good, I didn't know how delicious crusted cheese was we ordered the fries the bar drinks were light but good hop & honey water tasted like sparkling water with honey literally sublime fries 10/10 no complaints.. i would suggest the salsa in the bar there is adequate street parking we dined in but ordered at the bar and food was brought to our table. a server didn't come to us..

Marz Brewery makes the most savory comfort food. From their gourmet ooey gooey cheesy smashburger to their cheesy fried tacos, everything here is the PERFECT weekend treat after a hard week of work, you know what I'm saying? Although you can definitely come for tacos and a beer on their trivia days, too. Bring all your friends--this place is quite huge and have long tables for large parties. Tip: Order on the left innermost part of the bar if you're just there for food, and remember your table number when ordering!

Ambiance - super cool interior, bar in middle, lots of tables, they have themed nights (Thursday is karaoke night) Service - order at the bar and staff brings food to your table Food - smashburger is a must get (love how crispy the edges were), the protein for the tacos were a bit dry

loved it here. great family vibes on a sunday afternoon. you can bring kids. they had a guy making some excellent empanadas. i think casa empanadas was his company. loved the beer, staff, food. everything was excellent. plenty of free parking and easy to find. need to go back for a burrito. chicken taco was also great.

Went for the first time and I enjoyed it. Ordered the guacamole, steak and shrimp tacos. The food order did take some time but it states that on the menu so I was prepared for it. Ordered a cocktail and it was just okay - tasted like juice. I should've opted for one of the canned options. The tacos were good! I loved that the meat was plentiful and not dry. I will say the cheese they use (I'm assuming) or some other component on the steak taco is a little salty. But other than that I enjoyed and would return.

Great service and great everything. The place is sooo cool and I'm sad my phone died bc I didn't get to take more photos because there's just so much coolness inside this brewery. Recommend this place highly. The tacos and the amazing salsa was to die for. Kudos to the person who makes the red salsa. I'm a little jealous bc I make salsas myself. Loved it!!

This place has been on my Yelp list for a couple of years, and I finally made it to this part of town. Plenty of street parking available. And to my suburbanites...plentiful! Service was super friendly. They offer full pours as well as 6 oz options. I enjoyed two of their iPas which were tasty. They have plenty of variety from beer to thc infused cocktails to cocktails. Fun vibe .

Love the food, drinks, friendly staff & setting. Order at the bar, enjoy your tacos, burgers, fries watching the brew tanks, in the arcade or out back overlooking cobble stone. A pool table, Top shelf pinball for a buck & free foosball. My kids dig it, too. Tacos are delicious, served w fresh salsa!

Ask the Community - Marz Community Brewing

Are the CBD seltzers available to order in while eating or are they only to go?

    Both are acceptable

    Is the place children friendly?

    Yes

Can I get beer to go?

Yes! They do curbside pickup and also you can get package goods to go.

Do they require or take reservations?

    No, the patio is walk-up.

    Can we bring our kids?

You sure can. They even have high chairs.

Their website shows three beers. Is that all they have? No food menu, so no food?

They definitely have food! It's an interesting selection. It's filling food, too. They have more than 3 beers. They have quite a lot on tap and bottles. They also have a space where you can buy their bottled beer from a fridge and merch.

Does this place have TV's in the bar section? I know most brewery's don't

yes, they have one big screen for sure. most of the times I've been there its tuned into some sort of non broadcast channel, very weird programming, but they had World Cup on earlier this month.

Do they take reservations? A group of 6 or so people would like to come for lunch on a weekend. Not sure if it's typically packed.

No reservations from what I have seen. When I was there on the weekend we arrived around noon and it wasn't full yet but it did fill up shortly afterwards.

I had been wanting to try Industry Ales when it opened and was glad to have had the opportunity to finally check it out! I was slightly thrown off, as the dining tables are at the front of this space, and the bar is all the way at the back. In fact, my friend at first glance thought it was a sit-down dining establishment sans bar seating. We found our way to the bar and posted up at two seats. We were offered menus right away and found the bartender extremely knowledgeable. This was super helpful when facing down an encyclopedia of ales. He offered samples when we explained what we were looking for. That is service above and beyond, especially on a bustling Friday early evening. The brews were tasty, but I couldn't really discern what I was drinking apart to say it was a lighter Belgian Ale. Wine is more in my wheelhouse, but always good to change things up, especially when a person has the opportunity to be guided by an expert. The people seated nearby had ordered the tuna tartare which looked delicious. In fact, all of the menu is globally influenced (think: pizza samosas, pierogis, Korean BBQ) in addition to the classic brewpub favorites. In addition to the Brewpub, this location features the Millroom, a speakeasy-style lounge. I did not have a chance to check that out on this visit. Definitely a cut above the usual sports bar and a place to expand one's knowledge of brews.

We visited around 12pm, and we had a designated server. The server was very patient with us, especially we did not come entirely as a group. We came one a a time, and the server kept checking up on us periodically. He was very attentive about our needs and that made the experience very pleasant. The food was surprisingly very good. We ordered potato soup and baos, and they both tasted delicious. The soup came with a bread, which was so delicious when paired with the soup. It was sweet! I had michalada, with the blonde ale instead of Guinness. It tasted spicy! There was also a live music band playing Irish songs, which I think made the whole ambiance very soothing, like it made me feel like I was in Ireland. This place is awesome and I recommend people to come to this spot! Highly recommend.

They had a lot of special events going on for the holiday, so as you might imagine, it was difficult to snag a table even before 5pm. We managed to get a spot on the patio, which was insulated really well. It would be a great place to hang out in the summer. Our server was very attentive and provided great recommendations. To drink, we honored the occasion with imported Guinness stouts, which were light-bodied with a great depth. Per recommendation, we started with the hummus appetizer, and all I have to say is: do not sleep on this! The hummus was super flavorful and well seasoned, served alongside the most delicious grilled za'atar naan. The fresh crudites provided a really nice contrast. Highly recommend! For mains, we ordered the Guinness beef stew and the bangers and mash. The latter was my favorite of the two- the sausages were extra crispy on the outside and very tender. The mashed potatoes were super creamy and the bacon-onion mustard gravy was delicious. My favorite part may have been the brown beer bread served alongside- this stuff is absolutely addictive. I thought the beef stew was also well done with very tender meat, but just wasn't as flavorful as the other entree. Throughout the meal, we were treated to traditional Irish music complete with a bagpipe troupe. We left full and in the holiday spirit- will 100% return and highly recommend making the trip over here!

On the other side, is a 1 Michelin Star dining experience. Moody Tongue is the first Michelin ranked brewery and even offers a beer pairing with their prefixed menu. The inside is moody with dark wood finishes, black accents, and elegant artwork & feature lighting. Upon entering, one checks in at the first floor host stand. A server brings you upstairs to the dining area. There is a mixture of two and four tops in the space and our table had a handwritten note congratulating us on our anniversary. Our seat allowed both of us to have a view of the kitchen window to watch the chefs prep courses. There were 3-4 servers that serviced the entire dining room and rotated in presenting dishes. They started with warm towelettes to wash your hands which was a nice touch. Service level throughout was impeccable with water refills, explaining the menu, delightful demeanor, fresh silverware per course, and wiping the table clean from anything that dropped. This was certainly one of the best hospitality levels at a one star I've experienced. Dinner was 12 courses including the amuse-bouche and final treats. There was not one course that didn't offer bright, fresh flavors. The presentation of plates were beautiful from every angle. It's hard to pick any top dish as everything was unique and special in their own way; but I am still thinking about the Crab Bite, Sablefish, and Pasta Course. After dinner, each guest got a complimentary bag full of goodies to enjoy at home. What a beautiful final touch! Moody Tongue as a whole far exceeded my expectations. Tucked away at the end of a small street, Maplewood appears unassuming. When you sit down you can order via QR code which makes ordering with friends and splitting checks very convenient. Service is very efficient and friendly. I also appreciate the limited but intentionally crafted food menu. The Maplewood smashburger was juicy, savory, and the burger patty was perfectly browned and crisped without being dry. The sauce was delicious and had a nice kick. I shared the burger with my partner, along with cheese curds (incredible!!), and roasted honeynut squash. It was very filling and we ended up taking some cheese curds and squash home! The squash had depth of flavor and a great mix of textures with pistachios, pomegranate seeds, and I think feta cheese on top. The skin was crispy and overall it was tasty! The food paired perfectly with beer. I've had Maplewood beer from a can before but never on tap, so it was such a treat! I tried the Krispie Treats which delivered on the marshmallow vanilla flavor and sweetness. They have a big selection of beers, and they are also a distillery which means they offer cocktails! I love that they have something for everybody, including the friends who are more into cocktails than beer. I liked that utensils, trays, and takeout containers were self-serve and well-stocked. There's a variety of takeout containers to suit various types of food and portion sizes and they were high quality! I love when restaurants/bars offer the thick napkins--a marker of quality, and feels so luxurious! There are bathrooms for all genders, and they were clean, and had fun decor. And there's a small section of the brewery with merch for sale, like sweatshirts and beer glasses, so be sure to check those out! Can't wait to come back!
