I ordered it and when it came out, I was quite disappointed because it wasn't what I traditionally would have had... Great neighborhood bar in Bridgeport and close to Sox Park. Plenty of beers on tap as well as bottles and cans. The food here is excellent - the Ballpark Burger and Buffalo Chicken Sandwich are delicious. Servers are very friendly - BallPark Pub is a must visit in Bridgeport! read more

A hidden gem!! This place has amazing food, the service is the best, and they also have parking. Their patio is beautiful and you can watch the game while enjoying the sun. Kid friendly fly too. I got the Brussels sprouts here and honestly, it is the best in Chicago! It's so good. It's Brussels sprouts with bacon. I would highly recommend it. It is on the oily side but overall really good. Wow! The best ever bacon cheeseburgers and brussels sprouts. We saw a review on one of the local TV programs and decided to try this out - no regrets whatsoever. Fries were delicious. We rarely eat hamburgers, but this was absolutely phenomenal. The bun was toasted and perfect, the melted cheese, grilled bacon and hamburger - YUMMY! A must for burger lovers. Great burgers! How have I never heard of this place before? Burgers were incredible. Great tasting meat and bacon was delicious and made to order. I hate places that have the bacon already cooked and just slap it on as an afterthought. Tried the brussel sprouts from a recommendation from a bartender friend from Cork & Kerry's and they did not disappoint. Friendly bartender and everyone seemed to know each other. Had a great experience today: the gent (didnt get his name but he was masked yay and thank u) was quick, friendly and took good care of my carryout order while providing some excellent recommendations. Pot Roast ?? In a local bar close to the ballpark .....what???? Not since Schallers Pump would I have dared order such a menu item but let me tell you ...outstanding !! I selected the pot roast sliders special, but they also offer a full size sandwich; and as good as it was I'd be very surprised if they didn't also offer some other form of this dish at different times. I don't know about you, but my Mom (of Irish descent ) always cooked the shite out of pot roast, and it was usually the equivalent of an unseasoned leather shoe by the time it got to my hopeful childhood plate. Don't let the neighborhood (commercial, industrial, vacant lots fenced in) or the unassuming exterior fool you. This is a great restaurant and sports bar right near White Sox park. The food is every bit as good as a regular restaurant... It's not just food served to people drinking while they watch The Game. Everything my friends and I have ordered has been surprisingly excellent. Their burgers, their chili, and their fries are great. Most important to consider though is their secret weapon: they smoke their own brisket, and it's probably the best you will ever have. No joke. They even have a brisket grilled cheese which my friends loved. There's a lot of other choices on the menu, including daily specials and pasta. I haven't tried their pizza yet but I plan to. Another pleasant surprise is how terrific their Caesar salad with chicken is. The meat is seasoned perfectly, not like many places that just stick it in the grill and give it into the salad like it's all that can be done. Worth sharing before you dive into your main course. Staff is friendly. Interior is new, hip and clean. It's a bit loud, but average for a sports bar that plays music (pretty good rock music by the way). read more

I loved their brussel sprouts, onion rings were soaked in grease (going to let them dry, lol), fries and burger was delicious, and $5 for 2 expired 16 oz. Sprites. The cap wasn't even attached to the ring, but when I opened it I heard the sound of an unopened soda. That's almost a year expired, sad! read more

Good selection of beers, even a couple of sours, which was nice. Wish we'd ordered the burger, as the steak sandwich on special was pretty mediocre. I asked for it cooked medium, which was impossible, given that it was about 1/4" thick. We ordered onion rings too, which were very thick and had a lot of breading. We ate at the bar, and didn't appreciate the bartender pumping us for compliments, e.g. isn't it a great?! re the food he'd suggested and the Moscow mule he'd made. Overall, meh. read more
