Went here after work with coworkers. There wasn't a crowd, and we were easily seated. Went here on a Friday. The specials for the day included $5 martinis. Honestly, we had a great server who was attentive and gave good customer service. The food was subpar, and so were the drinks. It's definitely a college bar. Where can you grab cheap drinks and food? I had the carne asada fries. The carne was so tough, like chewing leather.....I couldn't even chew it up. The fries tasted okay. The onion rings tasted good. My coworker did enjoy her fish tacos. I recently visited Vintage Lounge for a mom's happy hour. However since it was Friday they didn't have any happy hour specials. (I'll be sure to come back on other days.) Our orders were taken pretty quickly after arriving. It didn't take long for our drinks and food to follow. Everyone liked their drinks and food. Meet friends after work. not crowded, we were a tabkevof 7, I ordered a Moscow Mule and order of fries, 35 minutes for the drink and 50 minutes for the fries. I told them to cancel the fries because I planned on staying 1 hour, but she said they were coming and they did 3 minutes later. My 1 coworker didn't even receive a drink because it was 40 minutes and just really stopped to say hi. Another coworker left after waiting 45 minutes for pretzels, so she just money to pay for have to the table. The last coworker sent the Apple Martin back it was thick like cough syrup, they remade it PERFECT VERY GOOD, but she ordered another and it was like the first. Came here for an after work 3pm happy hour with a friend. It was empty! So tons of table, high top, and bar seating available. Two servers/bartenders were there taking orders and making drinks. Got busier with a local business, hospital staff, and college crowd around 4/5pm. We had a few cocktails made well to order and tried the spinach and artichoke dip with chips and pita bread and the sliders. The food was hot and tasty. There is nothing more necessary than a solid happy hour deal to drive away the work week scaries. That is why I was so disappointed with Vintage Lounge and my experience there. Came with a few friends to enjoy some happy hour food and drink specials after work. Was told by our waiter that there were $2 beers on draft and food specials. Confirmed multiple times with our waiter which beers were happy hour prices throughout our time there, and ordered those particular beers. Also got the Monday burger special (because who can beat a $5 dollar meal???). The waiter asked what side we wanted (tots or fries) when we all ordered and we just assumed that fries came with if we were being asked. NOPE. Was there for ~2 hrs, and felt like our table barely got serviced (even though it was hot very busy). Had to physically go to the bar to ask about our food and drinks at one point. When it did come out, the burger was nothing special (pretty dry and tasteless). But got charged non-happy hour prices for all beers and $6 additional each burger order for fries (so $11 total for the burger + fries). I feel like we got scammed, and will personally never be back again for mediocre service and food. read more

Vintage Bar is a very special place for me for many reasons! A lot of my school division parties are held here, as it can flexibly accommodate many people at once. Before the pandemic, even free dance classes were provided! In the most recent visit, I saw how the entire space sparkle thanks to the beautiful Christmas decorations! There's no one staffed at the front door seating people, so you generally seat yourself, but there's maybe 2 people working at any given time and they're busy texting at the far end of the bar. If you ever get the chance to be served, the food is often cold and lifeless. The appetizers are grossly overpriced for how much you get and they're nothing you can't pull out of a Costco freezer. Walked to this bar because it's located very close to the hospital. We wanted to catch happy hour and just hang outdoors! The patio is large and has ample seating so we were able to get all 6 of us together at a table. We ordered margaritas because they were $5 on special. Must say...slightly underwhelming. I love a good marg and this one had a bit too much sugar and too little alcohol. However, I must say the sangria was on point! Very worth it to switch over and highly recommend. Very much a college bar feel - and they operate as such. You cannot send your food back (which they state on their menu). Clearly they know there is a lack of quality in the food so severe that everyone was sending their food back. Anyway, on to our experience: Chicken and Waffles - 4/5 - this was the best thing we had by far. I would prefer the waffle a little more done, but it's all good. French Toast - 0/5 - no clue if it was good because it was so undercooked and soggy that we couldn't eat it Chilaquiles - 1?/5 - my friend ordered it and said the chips were stale. I keep my receipts till I write them in my check log (yes i'm old school like that) when I checked the bank initially it was the charge without the tip line it normally is. My "Bacardi bomb" has no alcohol in it at all. Tastes like sugary syrup diluted with some water and the waitress didn't even card me which is probably because there's nothing in the drink that's intended for 21+ year olds. They have a wonderful patio for COVID social distancing, it's bright during the day with cute patio lights after dark. They are using easy QR code menus now and staff were courteous and available. Went here on a weekday lunch and the service was the slowest and worst I've experienced. There were only three other patrons sitting at the bar throughout the entire 2+ hours we were there. I ordered the Mediterranean salad with chicken and no cheese. The salad arrived extremely unimpressive with very very few toppings (to be honest, I'd be surprised if they washed the lettuce), there was cheese on the salad, the dressing was really oddly chunky (chunks were unidentifiable), and the chicken was rock hard and way over salted. The people I was with ordered an assortment of food - margherita pizza, chicken sandwich, burgers, and everything looked extremely mediocre. The service was laughably slow. We couldn't believe how long it took to get our food or settle our bill, even with the lack of other patrons. I didn't bother complaining about the cheese or rock hard chicken because who knows how much time that would have taken to get resolved. We finally left with our bill settled two hours after we arrived. Avoid for anything food related. Maybe the nightlife is better, but the food is pretty bad. Won't be returning. read more

All around a solid sports bar. Considering the pandemic, I very much appreciate having this spot in the neighborhood because they have big windows that you can sit in up front and a nice patio out back, so even with the indoor dining ban I can grab a beer somewhere that's not my living room. Tons of TVs for any sports you want to watch, and they have great deals during popular times like playoff baseball. They've got probably about twenty beers on tap, and a full menu. The food is why I dropped my rating down to four stars, it's just okay bar food in my opinion, but like I said, all around a solid sports bar that I'm very happy to have in the neighborhood. Wasn't very crowded but waitresses were pretty inattentive and made it pretty clear they'd rather stand in a circle laugh and gossip among themselves then do their job so their tip reflected that. We were gonna stay but felt unwelcome so moved on. I wouldn't say I experienced anything downright outrageous and the drinks were mediocre. Came here for a girls night out on a Friday. This place has a deal everyday of the week. On Fridays it's $5 martinis. The blueberry martini was my favorite and it was the strongest one. The mango martini was okay. I also tried the key lime martini and it really does taste like a key lime pie. The tater tots are good. Came here to meet a friend for a drink. Before arriving I read some of the yelp reviews and was somewhat hesitant about what our experience would be here. Upon walking in it has large area that looks somewhat industrial. Unfortunately when we arrived at about 6 PM there was a kids party going on in the bar and restaurant area. I'm not sure if they brought their own basketball hoop game or it was normally part of the bar. The music was really loud and the group of kids running around and yelling which they should do at a kids birthday party made it impossible for us to hear one another. The waitress apologized and said that wasn't something that they typically had there. There were two groups of people that entered the bar after we sat down. Service was minimal at best. Perhaps they just weren't staffed for early crowds. It's definitely not part of your typical little Italy restaurants but if you are looking for a bar instead this might be the place for you. read more
