Props to the designer of this cool club for all the unexpected decor surprises! First of all, I loved the mix of indoor-outdoor space. But the best surprise was this real neat and compact space towards the back of this club, which had seating in a neon lit environment with a little peekaboo window which opened up to the bar. The door to this room isnt super obvious and so I loved the feeling of stumbling across this surprise. The one downside to this place is the lack of restrooms - you have to go to 64 North to use the loo! I want to report an incident involving the door host named Lou (curly hair). When my group arrived, we provided our IDs as requested. Lou was already visibly irritated for reasons unknown to us. I tried to keep the interaction light to avoid any tension, but he suddenly raised his voice at me and said he would ban me from the bar. This reaction was completely disproportionate, especially considering the bar was empty when we got upstairs. Lou then told his coworkers that I was "banned" because I was "acting too friendly" and "acting like I knew him." Those were his exact words. At no point was I disrespectful. I was simply being friendly. As I was leaving, I made a light comment about him "standing on it," and he escalated further, yelling and cursing at me. His female coworkers then joined in and actually followed me down the street to continue berating me. The entire situation was unprofessional, aggressive, and completely unprovoked. I'm asking that this be addressed. No customer should ever experience this from anyone representing your establishment. read more

The patio is my favorite spot in downtown Orlando. There is something for everyone here- if you're looking for top 40 you go outside, if you're looking for hip hop you go into the jungle room (I like to call it the hip hop room), if you want EDC you go upstairs (Aero) if you want to chill out you go into Olde 64. On Friday and Saturday nights they have 2 for 1 shots every hour on the hour- what more could you ask for??? Thursday's are awesome too because it's ladies night and we drink for free until midnight! I've been a long time "downtowner" and this place has always been one of my favorites. From 64 N. in the front to The Patio in the back and Aero up on the roof, there's something for everyone. Different vibes in one building! Get there before 11 and it's $3.50 drinks but even after that, their drink prices are still some of the best downtown and there's never a cover! I avoid this bar at all costs after the bad experience I had the first time, but I went this time because I was with a group of friends and they really wanted to go here. I figured I would just hold onto my purse the entire time and never take it out, not even to take a picture. For the girl that rudely said that drunk people should pay more attention so that they don't get their phone stolen, I was completely sober. Not everyone who goes to bars is drinking. I have every reason to believe that this is an inside job and that the employees are stealing the iPhones and then re-selling them because within 5 minutes of entering, I checked my purse and my phone was GONE. Right before I entered I had seen my phone in my purse and so I am positive that the employee that was checking me for security at the entrance stole it when I had my purse opened to show him inside (I must've turned around or he caught me distracted). I immediately told the security once I saw my phone was missing and he became extremely aggressive and defensive with me and told me they hadn't found any phones. But how did he know??? My best friend also got her phone stolen here twice, and curiously enough... she had tracked it on Find my iPhone but right after she told the owner of the Patio that her phone was stolen, her iPhone was immediately turned off. I stood in line and waited patiently to get into the venue. Upon being searched by security, a short young woman with blonde extensions began screaming at her fellow security members as well as the guests entering the venue. As I was being screamed at, I told the woman that was not the way anyone would want to enter any situation, which only made her scream louder. She later approached me and told me not to disrespect her at work ever again and then proceeded to yell at me and tell me that she could kick me out as she pleased. After I told her I had done nothing wrong, she then stormed off and glared at me the rest of my time there. The bar service is sub par so not much to make up for the horrid entry. Hold on to your phone if you're heading here! My phone was stolen from my jacket pocket while I was here as a designated driver and completely sober. There is something wrong going on here. I understand bars get crowded downtown on a Saturday night but the amount of people crammed into this place made it impossible to even get to an exit. If there was ever an emergency and the building needed to be evacuated people would be in trouble. The reason people are getting their things stolen isn't because they are too drunk to keep track of their them (which is the way the manager made it seem when I reported my stolen item)..its because this establishment is SO packed with people you have to fight your way across the building to get out of here, I didn't see a single security guard monitoring the crowds. I encountered quite a few outside who told me that people get their things stolen every weekend..It's obviously an on-going problem. My friend had her phone taken out of her zipped and sealed purse while attempting to get across the building on our way out. I've been coming to the patio for several years now. (probably as long as I've had this yelp account yet this is my first review.) We've always loved the Patio and have always been treated great by the staff. But I was so impressed by one of your bartenders that I felt compelled to write a review! I feel terrible because I forgot his name. I'm pretty sure it's Max. He has a beard and every time I've seen him he's in a Hawaiian shirt haha.. A few weeks back, my boyfriend and I came into 64 on a Sunday. I had just lost a friend and I was pretty upset. Even though he had several other people to take care of, he had a big smile for us and was very attentive. I ended up spilling my guts (as you do after you've had a few) and he was so sweet to us. And he said something before we left that instantly made me feel better and I still think about it todayFast forward to last weekend and I came in with a bachelorette party and the same big smile was on his face even though he was slammed. He took great care of us and made us laugh the whole time! The dynamic with his coworker (I'm so sorry I can't remember her name. The cute little brunette.) was hilarious and brought an energy that just made everyone happy! My friends who visit the Patio often know exactly who I'm talking about and they say he's the same positive energy no matter what night they see him. Absolutely one of my favorite go tos for downtown. The atmosphere is amazing & the drink specials are great! Ive read a few reviews about people losing there phones and blaming the staff at the bar but that's be frank, it's always important to make sure to check that you have your belongings throughout the night, being in a crowded bar with drinks flowing people can lose things or there is a higher risk of pick pocketing. With that being said I lost my phone the other night at the bar and a staff member named JUSTIN found my phone and answered when my best friend and I were calling it ! Thank you soooo much Justin ! I've been coming here for years now. The Patio is one of the only bars downtown that doesn't have a cover even on holidays, it has 4 separate bars with 2 different vibes in 2 different rooms, and the bartenders are always super cool even at their busiest. They're open Thursday-Sunday and they're 18+ on Thursdays, all night. They serve rum buckets that will knock you on your butt (share one with your friends!) but are delicious! They also have frozen drinks, bottled beer, some speciality beer (like white claw, some IPAs, local craft beers) and the best party vibe. The DJ will have bubbles coming from the roof, inflatables bouncing around as you dance, and you can see the stars while you party all night. It also connects to Aero and 64 North so you can explore 3 different clubs all without waiting in a line to get in and you can bring your drinks to and from each spot! I think my rating of this place, or anyone's rating for that matter, is pretty heavily influenced by the time you go. I first walked in at right around 10:45 and the place was dead. The music was great however and they were doing 2-4-1 drinks at the bar, which immediately lifted my mood. There wasn't really much of a dancing vibe at that point though so I left and went to other establishments. I returned around 1 am and the place was popping! The dance floor was full and the DJ was spinning well (I say that like they really spin now a days.... More like clicking away on his laptop well ). The Patio is outdoors, so know that for nights you plan on visiting here (e.g. rain is not good for this place) but they do have a couple rooms for dancing indoors, although I think that those are considered to be other establishments. SCAMMING CUSTOMERS; GRAND THEFT My friend had her phone stolen from a zipped purse. She noticed it right away and management was very SKETCHY. I went outside and asked to speak with the manager who was outside, and the bouncer didn't even wana let me back in. I was personally bumped and nudged multiple times, which is normal at a club, but a few times I grabbed my purse and noticed that the zipper was not all the way zipped. Someone was trying to steal my phone too. The way the club is set up makes me think they are in on the theft. There are signs on the wall , visible to no one at all. It is completely dark in there, customers are not for warned at the door like they should be since this has happened dozens of times. It's pathetic I am 100% convinced that they are in on scamming tourist that want to visit Orlando night life and then leave in the morning so they can't use "find my iPhone" when the phone is put back online to be wiped and sold. I went last night to this bar and after I did the line to check ID's, the guy in front said I was not allowed to go in because he needed to see my passport (I have a Puertorican's drivers license), I told the guy i don't need a passport because I am a US citizen so I actually don't need a passport to visit the US, which he just ignored not even looking at my license to check that I am old enough to get in the bar. Asked for a manager and the guy just called the bar's security on me. Definitely one of my favorite places to go downtown, as a local. They never charge cover (not even on special holidays like NYE, Cinco de Mayo, St Pattys Day, etc) and they always have $3.50 drinks until 11pm and then 2-for-1 shots every hour or so afterwards (the DJ calls it out when it happens) on Fridays and Saturdays. On Thursdays, its 18+, ladies drink free until midnight (still no cover charge) and guys get $3 wells all night. It's a very cool atmosphere. The first area you walk into upon entering is roofless with a graffiti-art/tiki bar decoration and their DJ plays Top Hits/Pop-kind of music on the weekends. They have bubbles/fake snow/fog, free drink card incentives for funky dance moves or dancing on the benches, or just because the DJ feels like giving them to you. You can request songs free of charge. They also show all of the big football/basketball/baseball/hockey, etc games on the big screens and when there isn't a game on they show this mesmerizing video of all the cool videos you normally see on Facebook. A huge compilation of Jackass/Cat Videos/Adrenaline videos. Love it. The bartenders are all really nice and attentive and most of them are fairly established so you will recognize your bartender each time you come in, and they will remember you + your drink of choice! It's definitely a party bar - I've come in many times to see people doing body shots off the bar or dancing on the bar. Stuff you normally only see in movies. They really just seem to want you to have a good time there, and to let loose. Then theres a second room you can walk into that has double french doors... that's the Jungle Room. That is considered indoors and typically plays Rap/R&B music. This is the room that has the chalkboard room in it and the secret room. The chalkboard room has a black bookcase in it that swings open on a hinge to reveal a hidden room with a bench and a window looking out to the deck bar from where you first walked in. It's a really cool and fun thing to show friends that have never been to the bar before - there definitely aren't a lot of hidden rooms in other bars downtown - if any. The Jungle Room has the same specials going as The Patio - they are both connected and you can bring drinks in and out of the two areas. There is a private VIP area that can be roped off if reserved for bottle service in here. It also leads into a video den that has a projector screen and music videos going by the DJ - and a bar that lights up! The Patio is connected to Aero and 64 North. They all have the same specials going on and you can walk between all 3 bars with your drinks/without showing anyone any more ID. There are more bars in between the 3 areas than I can count, and a TON of bartenders so you should never have to wait too long for a drink or walk too far! The only bathrooms are in between 64 North and The Patio, and then upstairs at Aero. You can get to Aero through the stairs located in The Patio. (They just redid the Aero bathrooms and they are super nice.) The bathrooms in between The Patio and 64 North consist of a mens bathroom, a womens bathroom, and 2 single stall restrooms. There are a few reviews on here that talk about people getting their phones stolen here specifically and that definitely sucks but its also a major problem downtown in general, not just this place. I've been to quite a few places downtown and I've had friends get their phones stolen all over. From what I've heard, this place is very sympathetic to stolen items and immediately brings down a manager to talk to the victim and makes every attempt to locate whatever was taken. There are signs all over the place telling people to be careful with their things and that pick pockets hold a huge industry in crowded, busy places like dance bars. They have cameras all over the place and a live feed that displays on the big screens for people to watch themselves dance (and to discourage pick pockets) and the DJ even calls out a few times a night to "check your things" to remind everyone that even though they are out to have a good time and to dance the night away, they should still be responsible and keep purses closed, zippers shut, phones where you can see/feel them, etc. I mean, use common sense if you know you're going out to drink. Keep your eyes on your things at all times, regardless of where you go. Don't put your phone down on a crowded bar. Don't keep your phone in your back pocket if you're walking through a crowd, getting bumped by people walking by, etc. This is a place that both locals and visitors can come to and both feel welcome. DO NOT COME HERE. I was visiting town for one night. My phone was stolen from my zipped up purse without me knowing. By the look of the reviews i feel like the bar and management is in on the theft. This bar was really packed enough that there is no elbow room. There was many dance floors, good music, cheap drinks and 2 for 1 shots. The drinks came in tiny cups and each time i moved my drink was knocked over on myself. I can't go to a bar where i don't feel safe. LADIES, HOLD ON TOYOUR PERSONAL BELONGINGS. All my priceless pictures from traveling are now floating around on my dead phone so someone can make a quick $100. I talked to security, management, bar tenders and Dj and they all said there was nothing they can do about it. There are so many people in this one place - which is fine, but you look around and there is NO security. Other places in downtown Orlando you can see multiple security guards against the wall or somewhere floating around, but this place was packed crowded and throughout the entire night I only saw 1 security guard!! Ridiculous. There was also a fight that broke out causing me to fall off a bench and it took close to 10 minutes just to break them up and get people out - again because there was no security in sight and by the time they got there it seemed to be the 1 single guy they had working. It was a fun place at first but this is clearly not a safe place and after reading reviews now, it seems like stealing is a common thing here. My first time here and I am never coming back.
