Pasta House is decorum it very nice. They took there time to find the right pictures to cover there walls. It very vintage. Serve was very good. Our server did an amazing job. The food was delicious. But the complimentary bread lacked flavor. It was slightly warm. They gave us a little hard butter for the bread. It was too hard and we couldn't spread it. The bread wasn't warm enough for it to melt. It might have been better if they gave us soften butter that is easy to spread. I ate Joe's Special Roast Beef and fries for my side. It was delicious. So I took my gf out for a Mothers Day dinner just me and her. I had won $100 gift certificate from a silent auction bid. We left the kiddos at home. Food was solid 9 out of 10. Service 10 out of 10. We stayed across the street and we were super hungry so we thought pasta would be a quick fix. Two adults and 4 kids we came out of here with a good spread of the menu for $85. Calamari, chicken parm, chicken fingers, spaghetti and meatballs, and the kids pizza x2. Everything was pretty yummy. Meat balls were huge. I was able to eat it all but maybe shouldn't have. Chicken parm didn't come with spaghetti, just note that. You get to choose a side though. The kids struggled with the pizza and kept calling it "tortilla pizza". That's really what it looked like. lol. Hence the four stars. But we're from Chicago so maybe we are little biased on what pizza should look like. Great service! No complaints there. Our waitress was great. The restaurant was clean. But we the tables are a little close to each with a group of six. My kids could each the table on each side maybe a little improvement on where to place a larger family. Over all it was a good experience! read more

This is a family favorite anytime we are anywhere near St Louis. I feel in love with the pasta con broccoli and have to order it anytime I walk in. This is my first time visiting the Edwardville location and service was great. Personable server and quick service. The restaurant wasn't crowded, probably because of the weather but it was clean and enjoyable experience. I will continue to stop at Pasta House anytime I see one. read more

Their prices have gotten outrageous! I've ordered them many times through DoorDash, but I can't justify it anymore. And I'm aware that DoorDash does charge a couple dollars more but $10 for their salad?!! And there is no entrée on the entire menu now that comes with a salad, so you're looking at a $40 meal for pasta and a salad. That's entirely too much and I suspect in a year or so they're going to be closed down. read more

Had some pasta and a large salad delivered. It arrived with NO SALAD. I called them, they said since it is through DoorDash they can't redeliver the order. So, I had to drive over there to get it, which defeats the purpose of delivery. -2 stars I drive there, I retrieve the salad, I return home, and I open the bag. In the bag I find a petite salad. I call them again, they say it is indeed a grande salad, and I hang up. The salad I received was anything but grande; it was undoubtedly a regular little side salad, intended to feed one person with a regular appetite. -2 more stars. I leave 1 star for the dinner rolls, the one remaining item on their menu they have yet to ruin. I'm going to surmise it is because they are not made in house. Our first time here and we will be back. Looked it up on Yelp and we were concerned about ratings /comments on service but wanted pasta so decided to try it. I am so glad we did! Our server was great and the food was fresh and delicious! The meat sauce was thick and rich. Monday night is All you can eat pasta for $14. It comes with salad and bread. My husband ordered spaghetti and really enjoyed it. I ordered baked ravioli off the regular menu and it came out hot and bubbly with the perfect amount of cheese. We made a last minute decision to pickup Italian for dinner. I remembered Pasta House from years age and, as there is a location very near to our new house, recommended it to my wife. I ordered rigatoni carbonara. My wife ordered the lasagna. When I went to pickup the order the staff was efficient and helpful. Very cheerful and lots of smiles. When I got home and opened the package I was very disappointed to find fettuccine Alfredo instead of rigatoni carbonara. It did have one lone pea in it but I'm pretty sure that wasn't meant for me. Ok, I love fettuccine Alfredo but not when the sauce has broken and does not even resemble creamy. The fettuccine was doughy and glued together. Had I been in the restaurant I would have sent it back, not because of the wrong order but because of the execution of the dish itself. My wife's lasagna was edible but, again, the pasta was doughy and over cooked. She would have liked more filling and less pasta. The sauce was good. Sorry to say we won't go back. read more

This was my husband and my first time eating at The Pasta House and we'll never eat here again. We pass this location a lot, so I looked up the menu and it sounded decent. It was not. For one, my husband ordered the Mt Vesuvius Chicken Tenders and they brought him out chicken wings coated with Frank's Hot Sauce, and the wings were cold. I ordered the the Shrimp Garanzini. The plate cost $19 and I got 7 shrimp with barely any mushrooms and the sauce it was in was very watery and bland. The dish comes with a side of broccoli. Most of the plate was broccoli and the broccoli was barely cooked. I, had also, ordered the Calamari appetizer and it was very bland. In any case, when the waitress asked us how we liked the food we explained to her what our issues were and she let us choose two other items off the menu and she sent our plates back. We chose the Portobello Frito appetizer and the Scampi Alla Griglia. These two were just awful. The breading was very bland on the Mushrooms and the spaghetti was extremely dry on the Scampi. Not to mention that the shrimp was breaded and the shrimp in Scampi should not be breaded. My dad was born and raised in Italy and is a chef. I was born and raised in Brooklyn. None of these dishes were at all were they were suppose to be. They were all around incorrect. Not at all Italian and after I sent my dad a photo of the Scampi, his words were "Not even near Scampi". It was just an awful dining experience. The only thing that made our experience tolerable was our very understanding and apologetic waitress and the restaurant's manager, who did discount out bill. Ate here with 2 friends. Got seated quickly and our waitress arrived within a couple minutes to take drink orders. Two ordered soda, 1 had a bottle of beer, and a mixed drink was also ordered. We got the sodas fairly quickly. Took another 5 minutes to bring the beer. It was hot. Another 5 minutes before food order taken, at that point waitress told about hot beer. Two ordered salads, and one of our party said bring lots of rolls. Another 5 minutes to be told they had placed a couple bottles in ice to chill for 10 minutes. We inquired about rolls. Salads arrived, again we asked about rolls and the mixed drink. Halfway through salads waitress comes back to report on mixed drink, we again mentioned rolls. Then rolls were brought. Shortly after that food arrived. I had Lobster and Shrimp stuffed ravioli in a cream sauce. It was delicious. The pasta was perfect and well seasoned. Another had the Pasta De Greglia. He said it was delicious. My friend had Pasta Con Broccoli and she said it was really good. The rolls were great. Great food, but the hot beer we couldn't figure out. We will return because Pasta House Co. has good food. read more

My husband and I decided to stop in and check out the new place in town. Needless to say it was disappointment. I'll start with the highlights: The bar - great drinks! The bartenders really know their craft. The apps - we had the garlic bread, which was probably the best thing on the menu we sampled. Everything else was a disaster! Being a pasta house we ordered pasta, but we probably should have taken the bartender's suggestion and ordered the pizza... I got the chicken marsala which was absolutely terrible. They serve just the chicken on a plate separate from a side of pasta or broccoli (like a catering hall). Traditionally at a real Italian restaurant this is served with pasta, as one dish. I got the side of pasta with their white sauce, the noodles were dry, like they had been sitting out for over an hour. The white sauce was just as bad. It was dry, and flavorless. The only thing you could taste was the essence of garlic, nothing else. The chicken breast was bone dry, and the marsala sauce was burnt. So burnt it was dark brown. Chicken marsala is a light caramel colored sauce, not dark brown. The entire dish tasted like charcoal ash. It was just awful. The waitress did offer to take it back and make something else so I opted for the spaghetti and meatballs. The spaghetti sauce was too sweet, tasted like Campbell's tomato soup with tomato paste. The meatballs were also disappointing, they tasted slightly rancid like they had been frozen too long. My husband got the eggplant parmigiana which was served the same way as the chicken marsala, separate from the pasta. The eggplant parmigiana was breaded and fried with the skins, which made the dish slightly bitter. The breading was so thin it was tasteless and flaking off. He also got the white pasta as a side, which was just as bad. We don't plan to return for the food anytime soon. read more

Went to pasta house for the first time in a while due to having a bad experience a while back. Me and my husband were greeted relatively quickly and seated. Our server, Jacob came to greet us, and let me tell you best service ever! We had noticed that he had two other tables and a fairly large party that he was taking care of as well. He still made an effort to check on us quite often and the food came out quick even though the restaurant was busy. We ordered curbside to go for our family of five. We were told 25-30 minutes, so I arrived at the 25-minute mark and called to let them know I was there. After 30 minutes of waiting I decided to go inside and was told "they're bagging it up" right then, only to wait another 10 minutes inside. Luckily I checked the order before leaving since they had an incorrect pasta in there. The pastas were hot but our kids pizza was cold, so they likely cooked the pizza earlier and waited to make our pasta once we got there. If it's going to be an hour, tell me an hour--not 25-30 minutes. The pastas (spaghetti bolognese, penne primavera, fettuccini Alfredo) were actually good but we only got 4 dinner rolls with 5 meals. Considering the high price we paid for this sub-par experience, we'll likely give our business to some other pasta joints from now on. read more

We went here last night. When we got salad our salad they gave us bread as hard as a hockey puck. Said we had to wait they didn't have any bread available. Waiter told us as we sat down we couldn't take leftovers home. My wife only eats half of her all you can eat pasta and likes to take leftovers home to eat for lunch. We paid for it why can't we have it. Server was really slow. It took 15 for us to get our salad and bread. They should have a little tack when they tell you you can't take your leftover food home. Went there to pick up an order. Saw it on the table, so I went over to pick it up. Chubby dude with glasses yelled "HEY". I ignored that because I thought there was no way he'd talk to anybody he doesn't know like that. Then he yells in another rude way "CAN I HELP YOU?" I say "oh I'm here to pick up an order" he then says "ok you should come up here and tell us that, not just go and start grabbing shit". Swear he was trying to big d**k me lol. All the power from his high and mighty host stand must of got to him, I get it. Then he starts rambling more stuff at me to really drill in his superior authority as top pasta house employee. Pasta House's best description is good enough. It isn't usually a place I pick, but it's never a place I turn down. The food is pretty decent. I tend to stay away from specialties and stick with standard choices. Spaghetti, fettuccine, lasagna, cannelloni, etc. These are all done reasonably well and the portions are great. Same goes for the appetizers, there's just no need to venture past something simple like toasted ravioli or cheese bread. This isn't anything up-scale, but it's a good place to bring the family for a nice meal. I'll be back. read more

The Famous Salad was inedible; looked like the leftovers of yesterday's salads were tipped into the carry out container, soggy iceberg lettuce that was turning brown. It went straight to the trash bin. Additionally, they forgot to include the red onions and tomatoes. The minestrone was watery and over-salted and the penne primavera was bland and too salty. the order was ready on time, and the hostess was polite. For those reasons, I give this restaurant two stars instead of one. read more

The green-haired girl at the door is just rude each time I've been there. No greeting or nice way to explain that a mask is required, just "you need a mask and we don't provide them." This policy is fine, just Not how I expected to be greeted. The artichokes on the salad tasted funny, almost like they were spoiled. Lettuce wasn't very fresh. The server we had was nice and didn't seem to associate herself with the surrounding gossip and drama that the hostess girls seemed to be caught up in all evening. There were tornado sirens going off throughout our meal and nobody seemed to take them seriously, even though it was definitely serious since a few miles over an Amazon building was destroyed. This location is the closest one to where I live unfortunately, but iI definitely don't recommend it. I'll try St. Louis next time. read more
