I have just moved to Denver so I'm still exploring the area. After a failed attempt/appointment at another salon due to technical glitches on the site, I went on Yelp and found The Parlour. I thought I had successfully booked online, to my surprise it didn't. Lol so I went into the salon and they didn't find my name on the list. Christy was so nice and accommodating in taking me in for a deep conditioning treatment. She suggested another treatment for my hair which lasts longer. She squeezed me in at such a short notice and was very welcoming to a newbie like me. I highly recommend her- for this service alone and hospitality I've experienced, I will definitely come back. It's the little things that makes customers want to come back and be regulars. She also recommended products, but wasn't pushy or feels like she's forcing you to buy it. She just wanted to share with others what products she lives by or works for her hair. Thanks Christy! Over all I would recommend coming here. I was happy because I got a last minute appointment (less than 24 hours before!) Compared to other salons in Denver- the prices are average. Make sure to be very specific about what you want. Otherwise you will end up paying more! I went in and asked for a balayage and ended up paying for full highlights which was significantly more. The quality of the hair products used seemed good- they smelled good at least. The hair wash was interesting, I had one of the assistants wash my hair which was odd and I wasn't sure if I should tip her and my stylists or what to do... also I was the only one with an assistant washing my hair! They give you a choice of drinks when you come in from water to wine which is fun. Tips expectation is 20% from what the front staff told me- again I don't go to salons often so I asked what the usual tip was. With a cut. Full highlight, shampoo, and a little styling at the end + tip I walked out the door for $367. The most expensive hair cut I have ever gotten. I hope that the color settles in and it grows out ok! 4 stars because if i am going to pay more than what was quoted to me originally, you should be upfront about that when you are suggesting/making changes. Defiantly feeling like I was "up-selled" and hoping I don't regret it. read more

Beware! I started going to The Parlour RiNo Fall of 2025. I had just taken out my extensions and was looking for a color change (and to help feel confident while I got used to not having extensions in) and I left so happy, I kept going back every four weeks until a couple months ago (same stylist). I went in for a summer refresh color (all over balayage), which I had discussed ahead of time with my stylist. Once she started to blow-dry my hair, I wasn't sure I was totally pleased with it. The stylist got so upset that she truly practically whisked me out of her chair, fully wet hair and all, curtly stating I could get a re-do scheduled at the front desk, which I did. I went in the next morning and told her "I have gotten used to the new color and I like it! Can we just fix the face framing pieces, please?" She said maybe six words to me in the three hours I was there and she took it upon herself to fully dye my hair an entirely new color. (Not at ALL what I asked for.) I truly don't know must of anything about hair coloring, so while I was confused about the length of time, I trusted her. Once again--I kid you not--I left the salon with a fully wet head of hair and a glob of coloring or toner or whatever on my forehead, a dirty look from my stylist and that was that. Again, not a word from the stylist. I left feeling shocked, embarrassed, and confused. I contacted the salon and never heard back. My stylist is talented, but how anyone can treat a regular customer like that blows my mind. Maybe consider another salon, especially if you, like me, aren't fluent in all things hair. read more

Because my usual hair stylist was no longer at the salon I've frequented for the past several years, I was on the nerve-racking search for someone and somewhere new. Living in RiNo, I wanted to support a local business. The Parlour seemed to have great reviews on Yelp, it's super cute on the inside, and I love a bunch of other spots in the little plaza it's located in. Lots of positives. Parking can be a challenge as usual in this neighborhood. Coming from the other side of town, I was running a little late, so I called to give them a heads up. Totally understood if they needed to charge me a cancellation fee, but I'm grateful that Lindsay accommodated me. She was absolutely wonderful and engaging, and I love the cleaned-up hairstyle she gave me. The only thing that ruined my experience was the passive aggressive person working at the front desk that kept making snide remarks to Lindsay about how I set her behind schedule and other customers were waiting on me. Wtf I was literally sitting within earshot. That hostile attitude might be enough to make me never come back again and keep exploring my options, but we'll see how I feel by the time I'm ready for another cut. read more

The woman that did my hair yesterday was very very sweet so I still paid and tipped as I don't think she meant to (and I didn't realize until I got home), but we agreed on cutting off about an inch (my hair was to my shoulders) she cut off at least three inches. My hair is way too short. It is also noticeably uneven. I am going out of town today to see people I haven't seen since college.... Thinking about cancelling the trip :( Like I said she was really really nice and I have nothing against her character as she was professional and kind. read more

I can't tell you about fancy coloring services or anything beyond that this place is warm, inviting, and everyone I've encountered is sweet and caring. My son has tried traditional barber shops and he asks to come see Bia at the Parlour here in RiNo. She's does a really awesome job cutting his hair and makes him feel really special. I am always looking for a new hair person. I used to go to my aunt, but she has retired and left me looking for someone knew. I have gone to Xia twice now and have left excited every time, which is a rarity for me regarding my hair. The salon is modern and relaxed and not at all like other stuffy, uncomfortable high-end salons. It is welcoming with free refreshments, comfortable seating, and nice modern music. Xia is an absolute joy. She remembers details about me after only meeting me twice, she is kind and gentle and willing to work with my hair which is difficult due to a history of over-dying it and an auto-immune disorder, but she never complains and comforts me that I'm capable of any style that any one else has. I love the Parlour RiNo. I have not gone to their other locations, but if they work to the same standard as every other location, I can't imagine you'd be disappointed. read more

I had my hair cut by Sia who was pleasant to have a conversation with and listened to what I wanted and when I was opened to suggestions have me some really great omes. I've been twice, once for a hair cut and because I loved it, a second time to get my hair colored. I'm a bit fussy about who touches my hair and my regular hair stylist is in Lakewood and taking time to get out there is too much. I started hearing great things about this salon and now I'm a convert. Different stylists have different prices, so ask about pricing going in. I've worked with XIa (pronounced Sia) twice and I love her. She does a good amount of consulting and asking questions so you love your results. She's also really creative and passionate about her work. Cut and blowout was $39 and Color and Glass was $65. Other good stuff: within steps of 3 amazing women's boutiques, a great coffee shop, and there's free parking and if that's taken, lots of street non-metered parking. read more

I went here last night for a partial highlight and I have to say, I'm super impressed with everything about this salon. I had Nicole and she was so polite and professional the entire time and didn't push any products. The space is huge with exposed brick everywhere. Parking can be tough around here but you might be able to find a metered spot somewhere in front. You get a complimentary glass of wine or champagne. I have been getting my hair cut by Xia for almost a year now and she is everything I could ever want out of a stylist - conversation is easy and her main priority is a happy client. I was lucky enough to get my hair done by Kylee back when she was in school. I don't always know what I want but she is willing to help me achieve fun hair. She is soo patient with me from going to red hair to blonde to brown and back to red. I really like The Parlour they all seem to get along well. First of all, the new digs are amaze. The whole place has a very high-end feel and yes, to being able to grab a coffee across the hall while you wait (if you wait)! There's always a drink (booze-y or non) waiting for you when you arrive. The ladies here have amazing hair and style (!!!) and the lighting?? yes. yes. The hair drying area even has cables to charge your phone, I SWEAR. In all honesty, it's just a very well thought out salon, from the stylists, to the decor... i've been to a few around town and for the price and location you can't beat it. The Parlour has always done it right. Last but not least, Sara Colley is amazing at what she does. She's a hair painter extraordinaire and her head massages i'd rate: A+, you will drool. Wowza this place was amazing! The atmosphere, the drink options while I'm waiting, and the friendly staff were already on par, but my stylist was the cherry on top! I was a loyal customer to my previous stylist at a different salon, but she ended up pursuing her dream career and sadly had to leave, which made me happy/sad because I'd be going to her since I moved here 4 years ago, but Addie made me feel like she'd been my girl for that entire time! She was so sweet, funny, a great listener, and an AMAZING stylist! She asked a bunch of questions and nailed exactly what I was wanting, and brought my curls back to life. I almost cried because I was so happy with the result. Not to mention that she made the hour+ long appointment feel painless. Loved everything about my experience at The Parlour RiNo. The space was beautiful - clean, modern, great music, friendly/inviting staff. Amanda was awesome - cut my hair exactly as I wanted it. The cut included a wash/head and neck massage which felt incredible after a long week and a blow dry to finish. I typically don't like the way stylists dry my hair after a cut but I absolutely loved the way Amanda styled my hair. Kylee is awesome! I hadn't cut my hair in about 1.5 years and I knew it needed it but I wasn't really sure what to ask for. Kylee knew exactly what to do and I am very very happy with the result! Even though I was using a groupon I still feel like I was treated like a full price customer and received great service.
