The stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry chutney, potatoes au gratin, and beef bourguignon are all delicious. I've also tried several of their desserts, including the pumpkin soufflé loaf and a variety of tarts, and they've all been excellent. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful too. This was the worst food I have ever had. Absolutely no flavor. Smashed sweet potatoes didn't even have salt and pepper. Crostini was a mushy piece of bread with some cream cheese and a dab of jam. Recently visited and got a few bakery items..had been under the impression one could order a sandwich/salad and eat here, but saw no seating. Close quarters, basically a market to buy and take away. Meat, produce, and all other item prices I saw were marked way beyond a fair market price. More than double. Some off street parking but tight. 7/2021 visit saw many not wearing masks and seemed to be no socially distancing protocols or guidance. Got some bakery items which were all good, but all was super expensive. Prepared meals available and got a smoking chicken burrito which contained a chicken bone which caused a choking incidence...so not planning to return. read more

Tried to call in for a cake on Friday morning but they were all booked for the weekend but found out that I can walk in and see what's available that day so that's what we did on Sunday at around 11am. At 11am,lhere were only two 8 inch cakes left with 2-3 smaller cakes. We got the chocolate mocha java torte. It's a chocolate layered cake with Java cream. The cake was moist and the cream light with a light coffee flavor. For my Asian taste bud, the cake is pretty sweet but it was still enjoyable. The staff was patient with my questions about what the other cake was (Oreo Soleil cake) but I wish their website has more photos and had more descriptions on what other cakes they offer. I will be back for other cakes and check out the rest of the store next time. read more

Noooo what a bummer, literally no cookies to buy at 3:00 on a Thursday and I ordered an iced mocha latte that is always amazing here and I got in my car and tasted it and I believe she forgot the mocha. That's GOT to be the issue because if this is mocha they've changed evening about their drink and it's undetectable. I can't even tell you how sad that made me. And there were so many coffee grains on the bottom that I'm sure the espresso machine was due for a major cleaning. I've been shopping at the Pantry for years and I cannot say enough good things about the nice people that work here and the amazing prepared foods they have! I'm obsessed with their whopper cookies and their buffalo chicken dip! You've got to get here early to snag some! I also want to note how great of a job the Pantry has done during this Coronavirus crisis. They've done a fantastic job with curbside pickup and promoting safe social distancing by only allowing a few customers at a time. For this reason, I've felt so much safer shopping here than other big box stores. Parking here can be tough so I would suggest parking in the back lot as the front lot can get crowded and a bit hard to maneuver around. read more

This is one of my favorite places. They have the best food! It's always so fresh and filling. Their bakery is phenomenal. One of my favorite things to get are their chocolate chip cookies! I always have to get some whenever I'm there... or sometimes even a box of them lol. I would be here every week if it wasn't out of the way from me. The only thing that sucks is the parking lot. Seems like one of those places that's good to buy a few things between grocery store trips. Their sandwiches are good but like the rest of the store, a little pricey. However, more importantly like has been mentioned before, they got my order wrong twice (First visit, just a condiment nbd. Second visit, I don't want to even get into it :/). The key lime pie is an amazing summer treat, and our family is now constantly buying cakes here for special occasions. I visited for the first time last week. The layout is a bit confusing, and I waited in the wrong long before I was told I had to go to the deli to get an egg and cheese (makes sense - my bad). As I walked around waiting for my sandwich, I noticed that they had a good deal of specialty items like Stonewall Kitchen and crackers and cookies I once received in a fancy gift basket. However, what stood out was that all the shelves were dusty and needed a good cleaning. Check out was a bit slow despite only one person ahead of me in line and two cashiers. My egg, cheese and tomato for under $3.50, was decent and I decided to eat it there. Once I sat down, I noticed delivered bags of fresh bread on the ground just sitting there and wondering how long it would take someone to pick it up. This is a great place to visit when you are looking for a unique item you might otherwise only be able to get online. The prices are reasonable, but the store just needs a little TLC. Parking here is tricky and getting back out onto Post Road can be challenging, especially on Saturday morning. read more

I hired the Pantry to cater the lunch after my daughter's bat mitzvah. I relied on them to tell me how much food I needed for 80 people. They undercounted by a lot and about 10 percent of our guests didn't get a bagel and ended up going out and spending their own money for lunch after. I was mortified. This shouldn't have happened, especially as 7 of my guests were toddlers who don't eat much at all! When I explained what happened, they were unconcerned and certainly didn't offer to make it up to me in any way. I'm giving them two stars because what I did manage to eat (salad, fruit, and a cookie) was tasty. Update: The Pantry did send me a gift card to make up for the issue. This deli is pretty awesome, but let's walk through it. The bakery is up and down. First of all you have to come early because it is so popular that things go fast and if you come later in the day, you miss the best selection. The cookies are amazing. The pumpkin pie, not so amazing. The cheesecake is so-so. The coconut cake is AMAZING. The tarts are very good. The macroons is are good. The carrot cake is good. The eclairs incredible. There are so many bakery items, too many to list but you get the picture, it's up and down but the highs are very high. There is one important and consistent issue with the bakery. They consistently give me the wrong order. Just last week I said "two macaroons and four Chocolate chip cookies". I got two cookies and four macaroons. The very next day I asked for one slice of coconut cake, two chocolate chip cookies and one oatmeal raisin cookie. I got two oatmeal raisin cookies, one chocolate chip and two pieces of cake. Then today the same problem, different items. I mean, it's an on going issue with them. They are moving you through so fast and not paying attention. The prepared foods are great too, and the deli sandwiches are made to order and fabulous. Then you check out and they stuff stuff stuff your stuff in a bag so fast that your stuff is all cadywompus in the bag and messed up. Again, rushing you out. It's wrong to do this. My cake was all squished. Pantry: please slow down and pay attention!!! Lastly, just know that parking here is a huge problem. There isn't any. read more

And I know you are thinking there can't be 4 halves, but each part just feels like a whole. Everything you could possible need they have here. All of my favorite brands. All of the employees make you feel welcome and if you are lost will help!! This places emulates the feeling of home. I was up in Fairfield so decided to do a quick search to see where I could get a birthday cake for the hubby. And stumbled upon this place. Really cute market that has a really good bakery! I walked in and asked the staff, of the cakes that were available, which was their favourite... their response was the chocolate gauche cake and the carrot cake. And since I'm a sucker, I decided to get both - not two whole cakes of course. I had gotten the chocolate gauche as a full cake (since hubby loves chocolate) but also gotten a slice of the carrot cake. And boy, the carrot cake was the winner! It was light and it had nuts, and so yummy! Definitely would go back for the whole cake next time! Don't get me wrong, the chocolate gauche was really good too, but if we both had to choose one, we would go with the carrot. The chocolate gauche was rich, yet moist and not dense. When you eat the first piece, it tastes so good that you want a second one, but then you realize your eyes was bigger than your stomach since the cake is pretty rich!
