When it did come out, the presentation was excellent and everything looked and tasted great, but several of the dishes were cold. The three-star rating is mainly due to the excellent service and atmosphere, which were both very enjoyable. I'm not sure if the kitchen was short-staffed or if something else caused the delay, but the food temperature was disappointing after such a long wait. That said, it's still a good place to hang out, have a drink, and enjoy the atmosphere.

And handed off to our server Hannah Hannah was nice and we both started by ordering a drink each. I got a limoncello spritz and hubby got a beer. We were seated near the fireplace unfortunaely itbwas so cold out the fire didnt really warm us. Drinks took awhile to come possibly because they wefe catering to a couple of holjday parties Then i got me sesame crusted ahi tuna with extra broccolini. And hubby got his new york strip with asparagus and mashed potato. Dinner was superbly done. His steak was medium rare like he requested. We finished woth a slice of carrotcake to share It was very sweet - unfortunately too sweet for our liking Otherwise- everything was good This is a huge restaurant with cabin vibes it has decoration with deer heads hung on the walls Very cool - we will be back.

For my main I got the grilled chicken Provençal. It had castelvetrano olives, capers, confit tomatoes with buttered gnocchi. Surprisingly, the olives worked really well with the flavor profile, because I thought it was gonna be overpowering, but it really wasn't at all. Overall it was good but maybe not worth getting again- I would want to try something else next time. My boyfriend got the black garlic honey salmon which looks super good and I wanna try it next time. The pork tenderloin also looked incredible. The vibes were very particular because the restaurant is in a country club. I Would want to sit outside next time - especially when the weather starts to get better and it'd be so nice to have a drink outside!

Soon after entering we realized we did not feel very welcome here. I ordered a dirty shirley and could tell the bartender was holding back an eye roll. Made with wayyy too much soda and grenadine, I gulped it down because who wastes alcohol...it was anything but enjoyable. My date ordered a whiskey sour and informed me it was made with soda. After we received our drinks we closed our tab, and were basically ignored by the staff and not acknowledged again. So 0 for 2 drinks and poor service. As cute as it is inside, I will not make an effort to return. Also to note - two of the three fireplace tables outside were not working. This was a large reason why we decided to visit the bar and instead of being warm by a fireside we were treated cold at the bar. I'd skip this place and head to Kate Martin's instead. Cool bathroom tho.

We made a reservation at 630 for 7 pm and we made it there in time We were seated promptly after glases were placed at the table we were to be seated at. Ambiance was upscale. Dimmed dining room- suitable for a romantic night. But we also noticed a lot of families as well. In the middle of the dining room I noticed a little tree-like ornament. It looked very pretty and added to the ambiance. Hubby ordered a beer whilst I ordered a rainbow sherbet margarita. Drinks came pretty quickly. My drink looked very pretty- Its more tart than expected and im ok with that. There was also a strong raspberry taste though no raspberries in sight. So if you're not comfortable with tart drinks please avoid this drink. I ordered duck on the specials menu that came with green beans and sweet potato mash and my hubby ordered steak with onion strings and mac and cheese. Food took some time to come. Presentation was beautiful for my duck. Flavour was good for the duck. But even the pictures I attached showed that one part of the duck was undercooked. The other side was a tad overcooked but edible. The undercooked part cannot be cut even with a steak knife. The beans and the sweet potato mash was cooked well. Otherwise. It was good. They took it off our overall bill though. That was really nice of them. We then ordered desserts. I got a berry tiramisu, and hubby got the chocolate cherry manhattan. My tiramisu was good. Could be a little less sweet- as mentioned earlier i like tart-ish stuff. But it was still light and fluffy. Hubby's chocolate cherry manhattan was a little strong. But could be improved with a better balanced taste profile. We had a wonderful experience despite the slightly undercooked duck. Appreciate our young server very much. She was an absolute delight. And apologies to her- we forgot her name. She made a potentially bad experience a good one. We will be back.
