Made a decision to give another local business a try. First impressions were that it was not busy…read more(4pm) only a few tables. We sat down and were promptly served - good so far. We ordered food and the wait time wasn't too long about 10 minutes but that is expected as the restaurant was empty by this time. The steak was cooked right (medium) served on a nice loaf with lots of onion rings. It tasted alright but not a great cut. The burger and fries were a decent portion. Homemade patty with cheese and bacon but slightly overcooked. Toppings were just right. The gravy was no taste, like none. We kept trying as it looked good but totally lacked flavour. No one came to ask how our meal was, did we need or want any refill of our drinks. Did I mention the restaurant was empty?? Then the bill came and when I asked why we were charged for onion rings when on the menu it shows that it came with onion rings. The server responded "oh that was just a few on top." Would be nice to know that when ordering but getting extra info from her might have been another surcharge. Tip was given although it wasn't really deserving of that much. $56 for these meals are totally overpriced for the lack of quality. This should've been maybe $40 max!! Even then we still wouldn't be back. There are other local restaurants that have way better food with excellent service at similar prices.

I usually get lasagna and spaghetti baked with cheese for takeout. Food is consistent andread more

We were visiting from the US and found Maan farms through some extensive research…read more Maan farm is located in abbotsford, about an hour from Vancouver. Maan farm offers a lot to see and do: a tulip forest, photo ops, a kid's play zone, animals, and wine tasting. When we arrived we wanted to do wine tasting. We got to try 4 different wines for $10 and were also given the option of a free tasting with the purchase of a wine. The employee, Alejandro was very helpful in answering all of our questions. He even explained that all fruit is grown on site. After wine tasting, we visited the animals. The animals were well cared for and in clean encounters. Finally, we visited the tulip forest which offered photo ops, tulips, and a peaceful environment. I couldn't recommend Maan Farm more!

We were there at 10 am and there was barely anyone there. This was great as I was able to take lots of pictures and pet animals. Since we came during BAE days, there were 5 kinds of baby animals for viewing: pigs, goats, sheeps, highland cows and rabbits. My favorite was the baby goats. They were 1.5-2M old and they were adorable running around. Beware that they will chew on your shoelaces or jackets. We got a few kind of food. The lemonade was mediocre and butter chicken Mac and cheese was a rip off at $15. There were 3-4 tiny pieces of chicken and the rest was just macaroni. The butter chicken taste was also very light. The samosas were yummy but they're somewhat spicy. My personal favorite was the carrot cake. You can actually see lots of pieces of carrots in it. It was $7 something a piece. The icing was a bit sweet, however. The entire farm was to be enjoyed by both adults and kids. My toddler really liked the bubble zone. She basically got to wave the twin wands around and out came big bubbles. We bought the membership which was $10 off if purchased prior to 4/12. We'll be back for summer and their pumpkin patch.

I experienced the worst customer service at JoJos restaurant. Never going back there again…read more Ordered a Denver omelette. What I got was a mess. It tasted foul. The waitress was offended I didn't like it. I said it's no big deal. I just wanted to pay and leave. But, she said "I'll pay for it". I was shocked! I said "no it's okay". She just ignored me. Disappeared. I left 15 dollars at the register. The server was a tall caucasian, blonde, tattoos. Just terrible service. Never going back.

Everything that came with it like the scrambled eggs, hashbrowns and sourdough toast was okay. The coffee is nothing to write home about. What was weird was that I served my food before I was served coffee, which I ordered all at the same time. The interior looked good, and I like the sea theme they went with their restaurant. During my second visit, I had dinner on a Sunday and the restaurant was almost vacant. I ordered the Halibut Special with the Blueberry Milkshake. The bread halibut and prawns were great, while the fries tasted very good on their own. The tartar sauce was also great and made the seafood taste spectacular. The coleslaw, however, was mildly bland, even if it was free with my entrée. The milkshake was pretty great, with the whip cream flourishing with flavour. So I recommend JoJo's more for their lunches and dinners rather than their breakfasts.
