During quoting he highlighted the services they offered, including moving large furniture, floating and patching damage, and protecting floors and fixtures. Once the day came, we had just completed some DIY drywalling and needed a little help finishing the last float and texture before painting. Justin went above and beyond and added this last minute at a fair price. During the job, there were a few issues due to clutter we left in our rush to finish the DIY work. Justin worked to communicate the issue and resolve it, working around our tricky schedule. After a few days had passed, multiple members of Justin's staff needed unexpected time off, and Justin showed up himself to help get the job done. Justin and his team got the job done, paying special attention to make sure we were satisfied, even going above and beyond again to repair a spot where some tricky furniture of ours unexpectedly left some scratches in the floor. After all this, the price was right at the estimate, plus the small charge for our extra floating and texturing ask. Overall I am super satisfied and would happily recommend this business to anyone looking for competitive, efficient, professional painters.

West Coast Painting and Decorating was hired for interior paint and accent wallpaper installation…read moreprojects within our new home. When I had initially reached out to Mauricio after finding his business on Yelp, he scheduled an on-site, same-day walkthrough to verify the costs of the projects, which were reasonable. During our preliminary walkthrough and a follow-up meeting, I greatly appreciated Mauricio's professionalism, patience, courteous demeanor, honesty, and consultative approach. After the wallpaper I ordered was finally delivered, Mauricio and his partner, Jose, started the projects right away. After they finished the projects in the evening and cleaned up, Mauricio performed a wallpaper installation and painting final walkthrough with me to ensure I was pleased with the overall results. Mauricio installed our wallpaper straight with nearly invisible seams. There were no major issues with the paint job: there was consistent coverage with NO roller marks/drips/streaks/obvious brush-strokes near the edges of walls and windows. They accidentally spilled some paint on our carpet, but they cleaned it up to the best of their ability so that it is barely noticeable. After our final walkthrough, he happily accommodated my requests to improve a few minor things related to the wall paint. He even offered to come by our home the next day if we noticed anything out of the ordinary. Overall, the entire experience from start to finish was positive. I could tell that Mauricio takes pride in his work. I heartily recommend West Coast Painting as a trustworthy partner for paint/wallpaper needs and we plan on hiring them again for future projects. Note: They offer a 1-year warranty on their wallpaper installation and they use Kelly Moore paint.

I received a reply from someone and set an appointment. Today was the day, between 10 and 11 (I'd mistakenly thought it was 10-10:30; my bad). At 10:45 I got a text from someone saying OTW. At 11:25 a woman was at my door. I had no idea she was with DL as no one ever gave me a name. This was Alba with no apology when I complained about the time. (I was really upset since I'd gotten the timeframe wrong; apologies from me for my annoyance). Was an hour timeframe not enough? My time is valuable, too. My business obviously wasn't too important to her, even though I was a referral which made me a very likely customer!! I took my friend's word instead of Yelp's other negative reviews. (Mine is not the worst, as you can see.) So, first Alba wasted my time with the delay in responding, then wasted another 1.5 hrs today, then didn't like my annoyance, didn't apologize and left in a huff. No estimate. I can't imagine how it would have been had I hired them. Half a star for showing up. I'll be writing other reviews about the professionals I did talk to even those I don't hire. Dee
