Really nice ambience, tasteful decor and food in the area, pleasantly surprised to stop by here on our drive, great to see so many families with kids stop by and the homely vibe of the place. The orders did take long but overall great hospitable service and place to hangout for a drink or a meal.

Four of us went here for dinner on a Friday night at 6. Three of us had the prime rib special and one NY strip meal. We all LOVED our meals and topped it off with funnel cake fries. They came with caramel sauce on the side. Root beer, 2 beers, and a margarita and the meal was complete. We loved the atmosphere, the people, and the food. We are definitely going back in the nicer weather to sit at the outside bar. We can't wait! Side note: the owner is the BEST.

Decent place with a simple menu and good food. We stopped in on a Football Sunday so there were food specials that we indulged in. $10 nachos with meat were pretty good. The wing special was 5 for $5. We got 2 orders and really liked the wings. Drink pours were a little small. All in all I would stop in again for a meal. Friendly bartenders and plenty of parking.

Waitress was inviting. Food came quick and was delicious. So much flavor on the two burgers my wife and I got. Great vibes all around and a solid memory for a fair priced meal.

Best small eat in spot in quite a while. Inside: Seating and Bar Outside: Outside Bar/Seating and some tables and chairs outside of the bar area It's a nice place with some good food and nice atmosphere. If you're hitting the river on a rafting trip or cruising along the river's edge be sure to stop by. The staff was great and bartender Mike was cool to hang with. We had some Garlic Parm Wings (not made how you're used to but still good) and my partner had a Beyond Meat burger. Everything was good and well cooked. I washed mine down with a Pale Ale (see in pictures) while taking in the sun. We'll be back that's for sure. I have to try one of their Burgers Next! and then there's still breakfast.

Great food and really nice owners and staff. Open on Mondays when other places are closed. Hamburgers are delicious and BBQ was good too.

New Yorkers love their delis, and if just half of them are like this one, I can see why. JJ Delicatessen has an excellent assortment of meats, cheeses and dried goods, many from European countries like Germany and Poland. My girlfriend and I ordered sandwiches on a Saturday morning. We had to wait a little over twenty minutes, and the woman advised that next time we call our orders in ahead of time because the hot sandwiches take awhile. So that's your tip for the day. But they were worth waiting for. Fairly priced, excellent quality, and came with a few sides. I got the Polish sandwich special and my girlfriend got the Mediterranean sandwich special. There is a small seating area in the deli, but we took them with us and ate them in the car. It was a great lunch that we ate right before an afternoon of hiking at High Point State Park in NJ. Highly recommend this deli!

It seems like this is something of an institution and even for first-timers like us, it's not hard to see why. It's a European-leaning local deli that is clean, well stocked with interesting goodies, and that's is a cozy dining room in the front end of the shop. The two ladies we interacted with were fairly friendly and helpful, and after an agonising few minutes looking at the menu, we decided on the Polish and Italian sandwiches (vs heroes, which are bigger, cost a bit more, and are served on a roll). What I liked was the fresh tasting pickle that comes with the sandwich. In fact, the pickle may have been my favourite thing, period. The macaroni salad and potato salad were enjoyable if not particularly memorable. Now, the sandwiches. They look great, delicious even. We could tell they were made with care. From the first bite though, so I could think was, why's this SO salty? To this day, we're not sure what the culprit(s) were. Without the saltiness, I think they could have been delicious sandwiches. Perhaps this is how the locals like it. Maybe this is some sort of traditional way to prepare these sandwiches. All I know is that it traumatised my taste buds so much that I didn't have an appetite for another meal for the rest of the day. And of course I was quite thirsty for a few hours afterwards. I hope they keep improving and stay open for many more years.

Parking is easy and convenient, which is always a plus. The atmosphere feels like a neighborhood institution--lots of locals, including many older regulars, gathering over coffee. There's something comforting and authentic about that. The menu offers a good mix of fresh hot and cold sandwiches. Our meatball sub was solid and tasty, though the roast beef sandwich didn't quite hit the mark for us. We also tried the banana bread, which was unfortunately a bit underwhelming. That said, the service was warm and friendly throughout our visit. Overall, I still recommend stopping by. Supporting local businesses matters, and this deli clearly plays an important role in the community. It's a welcoming spot, and with a few tweaks on the food side, it could be truly great.
