The owner and staff are very nice- the meat is good quality and fresh. We have shopped for our meat there for thirty years!!! Every Christmas roast and Thanksgiving turkey has come from them. Their chicken ( white meat) is unbelievably tender. Their frozen foods are great and their condiments are very German - red cabbage...etc. They do sell sausages made locally from the Alpine. Their "crab" salad is my husband's fav- he buys a pound a week. I love this place- go! read more

There is nothing better than buying food from a place you trust, and Prime Time is exactly that! As a family of carnivores, we take our meat seriously, and this local, family-owned butcher shop never disappoints. Their selection is impressive--stuffed pork with broccoli and cheese or apples is a personal favorite, but honestly, we've tried almost everything! From succulent pulled pork to their big buffalo chicken salad, each bite is packed with flavor. Beyond the incredible variety, we also love the convenience of their bulk meat packages--they make stocking up our freezers easy and ensure we always have top-notch meats on hand. If you're looking for fresh, flavorful, and expertly crafted meats, Prime Time is the place to go. Supporting a family-run business that takes pride in its products makes every meal taste even better. Highly recommend! read more

To EVERYONE at Primetime, THANK YOU for the AMAZING catering food for Memorial weekend! The Fried chicken was AMAZING (even heated up the next day)! The Mac & cheese was a hit with the kids & adults! Past the catering, the London broils cooked perfectly on the grill. They were delicious & FRESH! The 8oz burgers were perfect as well! I gave credit where it was due anytime someone asked me about any food I didn't cook. Hope you all had a great weekend! read more

Went there to buy a brisket! Not for smoking or barbecuing! They knew exactly the cut I wanted with the right amount of fat! Nice people working there! Will never buy my meat anywhere else! read more

Discontinued their Military Discount! I've shopped there for many years and in addition to the quality meats and great service I always admired them for offering a Military Discount. I found out today that they no longer offer a Military discount. Very disappointed in the owners for making this decision. The checkout clerk said they needed to protect their profits. read more

A great place! The owner and staff are always extremely friendly and accommodating. They always go out of their way to find or make what we are looking for. They are fairly priced for quality meats they have. We highly recommend. read more

It depends what your there for. It's great if you live alone because you can get things that are difficult to make for one - such as stuffed pork chops, chicken cordon bleu etc. They have marinated London Broil and many other ready to cook food. They have a great selection of frozen items as well, not to mention cold cuts and grocery items. It never hurts to stop and see what they have. read more

The best Fried Chicken in northern New Jersey is in Milford PA. PrimeTime Meats has the very best carryout Fried Chicken in the Tri-state area. The chicken part are large, juicy with an excellent crunch. They are not dried from sitting under a heat lamp. They are very fresh and are hard to resist until you get them home. This is what your grandmas chicken taste like, if your grandma was a good cook. The next time you want Fried Chicken, don't waste your money at Popeyes go to PrimeTime, you won't be disappointed. read more

Top quality meats at reasonable prices! Friendly service and clean organized layout make it a pleasure to shop here. Give it a try!

This is really a great meat market. It is a pretty large space and its very clean. Everyone who works here is very knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. We normally order our meats ahead of time because we generally know what we want and its easier to just call in an order and then pick it up the next day. Usually, we either get large orders or meats sliced thicker than what they offer in the case so we customize most of our orders. Whenever we ask the butcher what the best way to cook or smoke some of the meats that we are unfamiliar with or never cooked before, they always give great recommendations. Its always nicer to buy meat from a butcher than a supermarket. They also offer pre-seasoned or stuffed meats so that you can just take them home and cook right away so you don't have to do all the work. I like to their marinated chicken wings and chicken breast. I just go home and grill them and they always come out really delicious. They do have a deli section for cold cuts, sandwiches and they have a case that holds cooked foods like pulled pork, mac and cheese, plus more. They have a great frozen selection of vegetables, stuffed potatoes, Jalapeno poppers, plus other items which go perfectly with meats that you order. This place is great if you want to do a one shop stop for dinner and we do that often. Their prices are very competitive and reasonable. If you're in the area this is definitely the place to go. read more

2 stars only because there are never enough people working the meat counter resulting in excessive wait time to be serviced.; even when there may be 3-4 customers the wait is long. 5 stars for excellent Meats and comparable prices to supermarkets. Hoping they hire more people soon! read more

This place seems like quite a nice meat market - I don't know since I'm only buying sandwiches from the deli, but the selection looks excellent, prices very reasonable, and every time we're in there, someone is carryout out a custom order of something in either large quantity, or something uncommon. Too bad I won't be able to try anything - it would be nice to compare the bacon to Reim's. The deli is all Boar's Head, which you may or may not like, but I have no beef with it (ha!). Just avoid the Colby cheese, which is definitely not good. At least, it didn't score very well in the family's most recent Colby tasting. Not joking. That aside, everything has been find, and there are a lot of things on the menu that are pretty creative. I've had several paninis with things like sliced buffalo chicken breast and honey ham, both of which were good, and the grilled Reuben was also tasty. I need to quit getting the unhealthiest sandwiches on earth, and go with my standard roast beef and swiss, but there's always something that's hard to resist. I've seen other people get fried chicken, past salads, and even meatball sandwiches, all of which seemed to meet with approval. They also have a good selection of oddball snacks - a big rack of nuts (roasted and candied), dried fruit, wasabi peas, all sort of stuff, plus sesame candy at the checkout counter, something I'm a total sucker for. Price can be a little high - they have expensive bottled soda and chips which can inflate the price, but it's so far been good, so I have no complaints. We will continue to go back, as it's a nice change from fast food, and close to the client office. Again, I wish I could try something from the meat counter - that could push them in to four star territory, but my hotel coffee maker is not so good for grilling. read more

These guys have excellent sandwiches. My favorite are their steak and cheese as well as the roast beef. They use house made cuts and/or boars head. Their butcher cut meats are great. They have great value pack deals if you have the space to buy in bulk. Their stuff chicken breast and pork chops are fantadtic. Oh and its hard to leave and not get some butcher cut bacon. read more

Had to stop in here with a drunken troll, she is a foodie. Staff behind glass meat counter was very eager to help however I am cheap and was just looking. The issue I have with this place is the location, it is odd to enter and the store front does not face the street. I am positive many people pass it on by because they don't notice it. There was one fella behind the meat counter, well... let us just say that he is really serious about what he does and doesn't smile and can appear to be a little intimidating. I think they should.... 1. Find a better location 2. Ditch the high priced dairy stuff, frozen food and some other items that don't look like they move much. If you like Boars Head products, then you should be in heaven. The fish here, well it looked it a little bit dried out to me. They had a YELP sticker on the front door so you know I had to come here to review. read more

Being a Truck driver & delivering next door at a warehouse, I accidentally found this place. It's located at a small Plaza & can be missed very easily. The Bacon, Egg & Cheese sandwiches are the best I've had. They give you lots of lean & thick slices with a price that's hard to believe. Sandwich, Medium coffee, Plus a double oatmeal cookie less then six bucks. Good prices, Friendly staff, It's my stop when I'm in the neighborhood. read more

So this was our first time here even though we only live 10 minutes away! Didn't actually know what they were all about! Well, well, my oh my! Several reviews mentioned their hot dogs so we purchased 12. I don't know if I can ever eat any other hot dogs now! They were so delicious both on the grill and in the frying pan! A very nice flavor! We also purchased 2 Filet Mignons that were fresh cut at that moment! Outrageous on the grill with just salt/pepper and even reheated the next day! One would've been enough to split because we had all of those hot dogs too! So we are big fans now and will visit again tomorrow and try some other items, too! Of course more hot dogs and 1 Filet! Only regret is that we never stopped years ago! Thank you! read more

Wonderful place, clean and organized. Meat is great quality. Buy meat here all the time. People are always pleasant. Definitely recommend.

Prime Time is one of the main reasons we kept our house up in Gold Key even though we now live 300 miles south. While they have a workable deli counter, this place is all about the meat cutters. This is a proper butcher shop, set up to provide protein of any type, for any event - be it a quiet dinner for two or a barbecue throwdown on the lakefront. Stopped in today on my way home to NoVA from a business trip to New London, CT, and picked up a few dozen of their housemade hot dogs. Never been a hot dog fan, but when a friend turned me on to Prime Time's dogs, I was an instant convert. These dogs are stunning, and I've boiled them, grilled them, and deep fried them, and that simply kill. Perfectly emulsified meat, delicately spiced, and that casing has that distinctive snap that screams "I Am A Serious Hot Dog!" Didn't have time to get anything custom cut this trip, but these cutters know their business. I've had some of the best full briskets I've ever seen cut for me while I waited. Once I discovered Prime Time, I had to buy a second smoker. Ribs, brisket, bone-in pork shoulders, etc., you can even get a full clod if you give them enough lead time. It's two hours out of my way on the trip home from CT, but I would never think of missing a chance to hit Prime Time and stock up on the way south. Go. Now. read more

Primetime catered a family party I had all I can say is the food was fantastic and the owner went above and beyond. It was my fault that I under estimated the amount of people attending and we ran short of food. Within a few minutes the owner who was present had more food for us, I don't think anyone even noticed we ran short. I highly recommend Prime Time for you meat purchases and also they have a great catering menu Thank you again Charlie P read more

I consider myself lucky that I live in a town with an amazing butcher like Prime time. Never disappointed, they carry everything that a big city butcher would have. Of course it's more expensive than buying your meat from Walmart, but the quality is noticeably better. Try the bacon, you won't find better read more

This IS a meat market! Its a butcher shop! Here you'll find the best selections of meat in the area and at some of the best prices as well. We've never had any problem with the service, all the employees are very friendly, clean and professional and know their cuts. You do not come here for soda, sandwiches or dessert unless you need to pick something up and are too busy, lazy or lame to realize that meat comes from butchers, pastries come from bakeries and sandwiches come from delis. read more

I'm very pleased with prime time! I ordered subs for my baby shower and they were a hit! Everything was prepared perfectly! Absolutely brilliant meat market. The place is so clean it looks like a meat museum. Service is great and the are fast. When you order a freezer package they wrap everything up so you can put it right away. No more repacking when you get home. The quality is above average for sure. There deli is great for sandwiches hot or cold. Also, the fried chick is a must. You can even grab a few pieces for a quick bite. Their homemade kielbasa is wonderful as well!! read more

I was just in town to visit a friend, but was VERY impressed when we stopped by to pick up meat to grill in his backyard. We arrived 15 minutes AFTER closing, but they welcomed us in and served up exactly what he wanted even though everything had already been cleaned up and readied to close. The selection was excellent, and they served up what he wanted in no time. Clearly, this is a company that is focussed on customer service above all else. read more

Prime Time does pretty much everything meaty you could ever want, from basic cuts to their own house-smoked bacon, marinated beef, stuffed pork, etc. - they even have their own range of spices, rubs and sauces. And it's all great value. If you're into cooking in any way, go here. If you aren't, they make sandwiches and wraps too. read more

July 21st we hosted a family reunion and ordered a pig which you roasted. Our nephew, who is a chef in NY, carved the pig and remarked what an excellent job you did preparing and roasting the pig. It was kind of like a ceremony as many watched as he carved it up with his chef's hat, apron and carving tools of his trade. We also ordered the chicken & pasta, broccoli with garlic & Oil, sausage & peppers, swedish meatballs and coleslaw. Everything was delicious. I was a little nervous because this was so different from anything we had done in the past. I needn't have worried left in your hands. The food was a huge success. In a rural area we are lucky to have Prime Time Meats. I'm sorry I took so long to say thank you. It's August 2nd and we are still smiling how pleased we were with everything.
