Stopped in to see how these sandwiches hold up to NJ/NY italian subs and they did not disappoint! The sandwiches were massive and they were enough for 2 meals. My favorite of the 2 was the Red Hook - pink roast beef with melted mozz, eggplant cutlets, lettuce and aioli on garlic bread. I just wouldn't get the lettuce next time as it does get soggy on the warm sandwich. The combination just worked and the sauce put it over the top. We also tried some of the to go meals from the fridge - the penne vodka was really good. I popped the lasagna in the freezer for another day. The staff was friendly and no nonsense - definitely had NY vibes. read more

This place is great! Fantastic sandwiches! We have had a number of their options from the meat case. The pinwheels and the pork burgers are great. Tons of marinated options as well. Everything about this place is fantastic from the food to the team who works there. Great reason to go to Milford. read more

Always delicious food. Nice selection of meat, salads, pasta, sauce, desserts......Good customer service.

Love this place !! Food is amazing with lots of choices, good service and clean Everything from heros to fresh meat and pastas. The only store in the area that has homemade mozzarella and Manhattan Special read more

The poor reviews you read here are pretty accurate. While the guy running the place is a wise ass at times, that's fine by me if only he countered it with good offerings. I'm Italian, born and raised in The Bronx (near Arthur Avenue), and this guy somehow thinks he can pull the wool over people like me who know the real deal. Shameful. Because the place could be A LOT better. Hopefully, he starts to change things soon before more people catch on to his game. read more

This has become one of my favorite go to places in Milford. They make fantastic hero's, pre-cooked foods that you can bring home and heat up and everything has always been consistently delicious. I have gotten their stuffed shells, chicken parmigiana dishes, plus some soups. I have a tuscan bean soup in my freezer right now. Their dishes are literally restaurant quality food that you can just heat up at home. Their heroes are just as delicious. I look forward to coming here when I am in the area. I would highly recommend that you get there early otherwise it's slim pickings. read more

The food is amazing. Best meatballs I've had in a long time. Best sauce and pinwheels. I love the owner.

Just ate a chicken cutlet hero from Brooklyn Boys with a side of macaroni salad. Everything was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend.

After eating my soggy dripping mess of a Rueben, and after being heckled by the owner like I'm in grade school in the Bronx, I proceeded to backblast birdshot into my toilet for the next 3 days as I passed that disgrace of a sandwich through my bowel system. read more

I figured 3rd time was a charm My aunt had us order catering and I was so against it but we did and it was a wonderful choice. The chicken was cooked soft and fluffy white, the sauce was homemade, the eggplant was sweet and NOT acidity. They know their catering well. They had loads of options too. Not just 1 or 2. So Can I say I was wrong and Brooklyn Boy and I wanted to re-review. I have to say this place found its footing. I must have went back then when mercury was in retrograde because compared to a year ago they have glowed up in a good way. They have gotten a great balance on their inventory. they are stocked now. No more going there and everything is gone. Ok italian bread is still in hot demand and they don't make breadcrumbs but everything has been great. They have a spring to summer fruit and vegetable stand. And the people who run that are so sweet and so knowledgeable about everything GOOD job BKB!!! read more

Rude and disrespectful. The "tripe" was chickpeas in a red broth with hardly a hint of tripe. flavorless. Won't be back Miss Frettas! BTW, I am a Brooklyn boy, born and raised! he was short , shaved head liked to use the word " Boss" read more

Not only the best deli in Milford, but one of the best delis I've been to. The pork and broc rabe sandwich is always my staple. Recently tried the Philly cheese streak with peppers and onion and was BLOWN away. Do not sleep on this place. read more

Most delicious sandwich there is; roasted pork with broccoli rape and provolone. Garlicky and delicious! This is one of may favorites, but anything you get here is a home run. They know how to make a sandwich. read more

It's loud, it's immaculate and their homemade sausage (no matter what flavor!) is delicious. They have marinated everything, octopus, olives. They have stuff that the true Italian cook can't get without a trip to the city, only much closer! read more

The guy who runs this place is consistently rude and doesn't know how to treat people. It's really sad to see what this place has become. Fretta's was amazing, this place doesn't compare in any way. First time I went in, when they opened, I had to deal with this dude, and he was mean and disrespectful from the first interaction. I've gone in several times over the years, and always avoided him...luckily the other people who work there are really friendly. Today I went in looking for a pork butt, which I almost exclusively get at prime time now because the folks there are polite and helpful. But I thought I'd stop here this time to see if they had them and save the extra few minutes of travel up the road. This guy treated me like complete shit from the first question I asked. It's remarkable that he thinks this is how you treat people. I don't leave bad reviews, I don't care about stuff like this, but old boy really pissed me off. Save yourself the humiliation and trouble of dealing with this guy, and drive up to Prime Time where the staff is helpful and friendly, and the meat is better. read more

Great addition to the area. Excellent selection of sauces/soups and other goodies.

Could not believe the owner/manager started to make our sandwiches without wearing gloves! When asked if she would please use gloves, she replied," I've washed my hands 5 times already today!" She stated this while wearing headphones around her neck. She had an attitude from the start and them became arrogant and nasty when asked to please use gloves. She refused to put gloves on! read more

What a pleasant find! I am new to the area and hubby and I were looking for a place to have lunch after a hike with the dog. Nice selection of prepared foods, Italian deli and meats and specialty items. We split an Italian sub, a half pint of broccoli rabe, which was delish, and 2 Sanpelligrino's in their side patio with our dog. read more

Their sandwiches were delicious - and ginormous to boot. Perfect after a long hike. And, yes - I would make the drive to Milford just to pick up one of these beasts. read more

The food is delicious! Had the pleasure of stopping by with the husband and we ended up buying a pork roast, salted mozzarella, a sausage ring, egg plant parm, and a salad. All were fresh and amazing. Brooklyn Boy Pork Store catered our lunch twice at work so far and they did such a great job with all of the plates. read more

Very friendly deli and store. The sandwiches ( the Flatbush and a eggplant parmesan on a hard roll) we're fantastic. My only beef and why I didn't give a fifth star was that both the soups we got( vegetable and mushroom) we're way to salty. I would go there for a sandwich any time and will definitely return. read more

Buy the charcuterie platter! You will not be disappointed. We ordered the small the day before, & sat on the deck at Tom Quick to enjoy. Just delicious! read more

I know that they list themselves as a Pork Store but they also list "pasta". So why not carry fresh pasta and extend themselves to Burrata as well. Make Brooklyn Boys mean something. Just sayin' read more

I'm from NYC & when this store was taken over to the current owner, I immediately did not care for him. He's obnoxious & every time I go in there he stares at me & makes me feel uncomfortable. He does the same thing to my wife and she has mentioned it to me when I never told her he did it to me. I am an Italian American & he tries to correct me on certain meats I point to in the meat case. This past weekend I asked for fresh ricotta that usually comes in a small tin & he tells me he has it in the back of the store. He asks me what size container of it I want so he fill it up. When I got home I realized that it was not the fresh ricotta, it was the one the supermarket sells. He made me think I was getting something & he charges me for something else. It was good but not what I wanted & I was specific in what I wanted too. He buys the store bought one & fills up containers for his customers & charges his price. I think he thinks because most people buy n the area aren't from NYC or NJ he can fool them through blunt they are getting Italian food & he's not reasonable either. I will NEVER go back there..... the previous owner has opened up a store near me & they carry that ricotta & I will buy from them & they were much more friendly too. This is not the first time I've dealt with the new owner either....... Not a fan!!!!!!! Go and fool & overcharge someone else!!!!!!!! read more

The Red Hook hero is "off the hook" delicious. Roast beef, eggplant, mozzarella on a toasted garlic hero with garlic aioli dressing, what a combination of flavors. The sandwich was stacked, worth every penny. I don't live in the area, but it's worth the drive. Next time I'm in Milford, I'm getting another Red Hook And I will bring my cooler to fill it up with the fresh made ravioli. I'm hoping to see more sandwiches on the board because Canarsie is not represented. read more

I was a customer at Frettas for over 20 years. So when I saw it was changing ownership I got worried. BBPS is great. The food is as good as ever! I like the new look. Much less cluttered. I live 30 miles away from Milford in NJ. It is worth the drive. read more

Second time going here and we are happy with each visit. Today we got prosciutto bread, Italian bread and stuffed meat. Everything is always fresh and delicious. We did get the rice balls not a big fan of them however they weren't terrible!! It is busy inside but that should tell you something!! Everything is fresh and they even have homemade Italian bread !!! read more

Very tasty and fresh food. We come on a weekly basis and it never disappoints. Mushroom Soup and the tiramisu is are to die for!

I heard about this place from a client. We recently moved to PA and she suggested this deli. We were in the Milford area and decided to give it a try. So glad we did! We are from NY and haven't found a good Italian deli. We got dried sausage ( hot and sweet) ricotta salada, Genoa salami, stuffed peppers ,corn chowder and semolina Italian bread. Everything is delicious! So fresh too! We will definitely take the 45 min drive again to come back here. The meats looked so good and the sausages too! Next time we're going to try that and also perhaps a pre made dinner. read more

Incredible Italian food. Everything is of the best quality. The sausages, dried meats are delicious. If you are looking for authentic Italian food this is your go to place. I have to stop myself from going in everyday that I walk by. You will not disappointed. read more

Awesome sandwiches and potato salad. We had them cater with all three types of sandwiches, American, Italian and chicken.

We're from Philadelphia. Brooklyn Boy Pork Store can compete with the best. We visited Milford and wanted to bring dinner back with us on the way home. What a treat. I wish I picked up more items to stock my freezer. We'll just have to return. read more
