Tucked away along Route 22 behind Chick-fil-a sits this Italian restaurant. It has been on the area for years. It had obviously been renovated as it so very up to date and has a more modern vibe. There's a bar with high tops and a dining room that is rather large. Parking could be an issue as the lot so small and the spaces are close. You can park in the hotel lot behind them. We were greeted by some hostesses that were super friendly and we were immediately seated. The bar had a 15 minute wait. The dining room is large and has comfortable seating. Nice lighting as well. Ordered two drinks - strawberry lemon drop martini and a blood orange martini. Both were meh. They were good, but wouldn't order again. They did have a large selection of various flavors of crushes and sangrias. Ordered the calamari for an app. Wouldn't recommend this. The marinara with it was homemade, but the calamari itself was just typical frozen breaded calamari. Breadsticks and salad were brought. Both tasty - especially the breadsticks! Ordered the shrimp fra diavolo and was asked if wanted it mild, medium, spicy. Went with spicy. Absolutely delicious. Would recommend this! Ordered the stuffed flounder with a side of broccolini. Flounder was great and there were LUMP crab pieces inside with a great imperial sauce on top. Asked for butter for the broccolini but was given packs of butter that were hard so didn't melt. Lots of sides to pick from when ordering. Desserts looked amazing (they are on display at hostess station). Just couldn't fit anything as the meals are great portions. Greta value for the quality and quantity. Server was terrific! Shout out to Kyle. Would come again.

My first time here and I'll definitely be back. I couldn't decide so I ordered a bunch of different things. The service was amazing. The staff was nice and helpful, and them having a jukebox made my day so much better. I went around 3pm on Saturday and it wasn't too bad but the later it got, the more people showed up. Spinach dip 7/10 ; Buffalo wings 100/10; pasta 1000/ 10!

I enjoy the happy hour here as well as some of the lunch options. It is moderately priced and the best option for a sit down location by APG. Their mussels are delicious and you get a decent portion. Parking can be difficult due to limited spots, but the service is always decent.

They serve salad and breadsticks here like Olive Garden, yum. There is a very extensive menu of lots of chicken options. I tried chicken française for the first time and was surprised that it came out looking like chicken with fried egg on top, lol. For some reason, I had thought it would be breaded like panko and come out with a crispy topping. Even though my dish looked kind of yellow from all the lemon sauce, it was delicious and very filling. Loved all the protein, haha. The staff is very nice, and it's a nice restaurant to enjoy a good meal with company.

Really great service I believe our servers name was kiami really friendly and kept a smile on. The food was really delicious breadsticks taste fresh and the salad crisp . I got the blackened chicken Alfredo very big portions extremely flavorful. The surrounding environment feels fancy they also have a bar and take out. All around delicious place to try and keep trying.

After setting up at the proving grounds, we decided to go out for a bite. Based on Yelp reviews, we decided on the spot. As we walked in, we were surprised how busy the bartender was and not acknowledging us. Unfortunately, this seems to be like a glorified Olive Garden. Our adult beverages were OK. I had to search for the crab in the Maryland crab soup. My wife did enjoy her rigatoni Bolognese. My Greek salad was adequate.

    Disappointment

I ordered a pepperoni pizza and a tiramisu for carry out. I was incredibly disappointed. The pizza was cold, undercooked, rubbery, and tasted like it had previously been frozen. The tiramisu was a joke. It was $7, the size of cake pop, and it was packaged in a way that appears it had been thrown. I do not recommend dining in or out at this location.

Very good dinner! I've been to Olive Tree Aberdeen a few times since my last post and I've noticed a change in attention to details. Service was excellent and to food was very good. Our dining experience last night was the blue-hair 0430 style so there was no contention to deal with but again, great service. Dinner: I had the red pepper sauce with penne & shrimp and my wife had a pasta dish with Diablo sauce. Both meals were very good. No deserts and we got out with tip @ $70. Unlimited salad & bread sticks if you like that stuff.

we sat in the bar allowing for a nice view of the Sunday games. we were promptly greeted for drink orders. the menu is pretty comprehensive offering many types of choices. e were served a salad and breadsticks that were great! the salad was fresh and blended nicely with the dressing. he ordered the lasagna and i ordered a shrimp and broccoli alfredo. the dishes appeared and looked a unauthentic. one bite confirmed the appearance. the lasagna was obviously frozen and defrosted for serving. the alfredo tasted more like a heavy cheese sauce and was far to heavy for the dish. perhaps we made poor decisions with our orders. it's a nice place but the entrees were more than a bit disappointing.

This reminds me of the other place lol. I thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance. We did not have to wait lo g to be seated. The salad we delicious and fresh. I ordered the Cajun Pasta. I changed the noodle to fettucini. The Italian sausages were so flavor and the shrimp were a nice size.

Owned and operated by Bavarian natives, the restaurant has been serving up authentic German/Bavarian food and culture since 1998! So this menu has a lot more than your typical German-American biergarten offerings. We went for a couple of their specialties - Sauerbraten (sour beef) and Goulash - which were both fantastic. My husband enjoyed a German beer (he always loves a German Hefeweizen), and I had Gluehwein (red wine served warming and steeped with warming spices). Everything tasted great, but it was also just a wonderful place to enjoy a meal: music (an accordionist played throughout our meal), children dancing to the music, classic German decor (including some Christmas touches), and great service! I'd be happy to return. In fact, I look forward to it!

Every town, burg, or community - however large or small - should be the proud possessor of at least…read moreone... Bistro, that is. A cozy little restaurant that serves up delightfully delicious food in a decidedly casual setting. And in Havre de Grace, The Vineyard Wine Bar fills this niche with a subtle sense of style. As the name suggests, wine has played a significant role in Vineyard's obvious success. So much so, in fact, that not only does the restaurant sport a superb compendium of vintages by the glass and bottle, its lunch and dinner menus are also divided into categories - Light Bodied, Medium Bodied, Full Bodied - that correspond to specific types of wines. Yes, wine is definitely the name of the game... But don't let that fool you. The kitchen also has a great deal to say... and all of it good. The food here is excellent in every respect, as is the service. If I lived in HdG, I have absolutely no doubt that I would be tempted to dine here every day of the week. The Vineyard is everything a great bistro should be - and then some. But I begin to digress... As you have undoubtedly surmised from the above remarks, our dinner here was an extraordinarily satisfying experience. My dining partner and I began by sharing the Bruschetta Trio. Bruschetta is an Italian appetizer that begins with grilled bread topped with garlic and olive oil and then adds a variety of toppings. In this case, the finishing touches consisted of a luscious garlic spread, sundried tomato and basil pestos, melted mozzarella, and house marinated tomatoes with a balsamic glaze. While most incarnations of bruschetta may be consumed manually, Vineyard's substantially succulent variations on the theme (as you will note from the photograph above) demanded the ministrations of both knife & fork and were well worth the effort... Incredibly and unforgettably delicious. As we moved on to what would be considered the entrée or main course, options were numerous and varied... from Cornish Game Hen to Crispy Skin Duck... Venison to Dakota Steak... Lamb Vindaloo to Pesto Bucatini... ... On this particular evening, however, matters piscatorial appeared to take precedence. My dining partner was absolutely ecstatic with her Tuna Bites. Which is precisely what they were... diminutive squares of blackened tuna luxuriating in a Creole remoulade (a creamy, mayonnaise-based sauce originating in France). A definite "wow" factor at work here. On the other hand, my Mango Glazed Salmon was equally up to the mark... First of all, it was wild caught, which I much prefer (with rare exception) to the farmed variety. Secondly, as with most species of fish, salmon tends to be prone to both over and under cooking. Here, however, it was perfectly prepared - cooked through but still moist and succulent at the core - superbly complemented by a slightly smokey red pepper coulis (a smooth sauce made from puréed and strained fruits or vegetables), and companioned by lemon & herb risotto and roasted asparagus spears. On to the wine... With regard to both taste and texture, tuna and salmon are certainly among finny fare's heartiest representatives. Thus, despite the oft-quoted dictum, "Red wine with meat, white wine with fish," and the gentle urgings of our server in that direction, I have always found that salmon and pinot noir are - somewhat akin to lamb and red Bordeaux - a match made in heaven. And, in this instance, the 2022 Lundeen Mon Père Pinot Noir from Oregon's Willamette Valley proved to be a perfect match for my companion's blackened tuna bites as well. Dessert was a special treat. Naturally, many of the usual familiar sweet endings were present and accounted for. And, given the superior quality of the cuisine thus far, I had no doubt whatsoever that they would have acquitted themselves with suitable aplomb. For some reason, however, my dining companion and I were both drawn to the Crème Brûlée Cheesecake (pictured), which we decided to share... and, which, as it turned out, proved to be one of the high points of our evening. This was an intriguing amalgam indeed: The sweetness of taste being more influenced by the former; the firmness of texture by the latter. It is - if you will pardon the seemingly psychological digression - what we might consider a type of "gastronomic Gestalt," in which the whole is greater than the mere sum of its parts. In other words, the components of Crème Brûlée and Cheesecake have been combined... and from this fascinating combination there has emerged a new dessert that is even more desirable than the components have been individually. Well... call it what you will. I just know that it was so incredibly delicious that I would return at a moment's notice just to indulge my taste buds once again.

Food was excellent and the wine list was amazing. They were very knowlegeable and friendly.read more
