If you go here for anything, it's the crab pretzel! That was my favorite dish! It's counter service so you must order on your own. They do get the food out to you quickly. It has cool sports memorabilia on the side of the restaurants with the booths but it wasn't my favorite place. It's pretty old and dated on the inside. Great place for a quick snack but I thought it was a bit pricey. It seems like a good idea for lunch or a quick dinner and I would definitely have the crab pretzel again!

In town for work, here for lunch. Had the BLT and yes, it was fantastic! Loaded with nice crispy bacon! Good, service, didn't wait long for my BLT.

    Love their pizzas!!

Thank you all for your kindness & hospitality!!! Today I am trying the shrimp salad sub with zucchini sticks. Your pizzas are awesome! Everyone have a good day.

    Crab Pretzel

After reading previous reviews, I decided to go with crab options. The crab pretzel is AMAZING. Since living on the east coast I have tried eating Maryland crab dishes expecting something wow and getting disappointed. But this, this is it! The pretzel is a large pretzel topped with their crab cake mixture. It is soft creamy and just the wow I was not expecting from a pizzeria. I also ordered the 3 stuffed shrimp. So it's butterflied shrimp stuffed with the crab cake mixture. I could only eat one shrimp and again wow.

I live in NJ. I visit Maryland pretty often and have their food often. The menu price in the large pizza that's on Yelp is wrong, it's not $12.95, it's $14.95. You can sign up for a membership on their site to get discounts and a present for your birthday. They get busy! If you order for pickup, don't be distracted by the people who are waiting for their food. Make sure to go to the counter, let them know you're picking up and pay. I've tried the pizza, mozz sticks, & sweet potato fries. Everything was good but not remarkable. They say that NJ pizza is better because of the crust, but honestly, I wasn't impressed with the cheese or sauce either, but it was fine. I hear good things about the cannoli & cheesecake! I've had their food a handful of times and have no complaints. I go here because it's convenient. If you're in the area, the food is decent.

They do crab cakes right in this spot. I can't come home without making a stop in there.

    Bad Italian sub

Tried the place out for lunch and was disappointed. The seating area is in need of an update and looks like it hasn't had any changes since the place opened. The sound level of the kitchen makes it almost unbearable to eat at the restaurant. The clanging of metal spatulas on the grill while they make steak and cheese is constant and extremely loud making it difficult to even have a conversation with someone sitting right next to you. I ordered an Italian sub and it was terrible in terms of taste, quality, value and engineering. When making it, they open the sub roll, lay it out flat then put the ingredients on both sides of the roll making it impossible to close it in order to pick it up to eat it....who does that? I won't be back.

    Cheesesteak lunch special $12.99

Came in for lunch with coworkers. Ordered a cheesesteak and it wasn't bad at all. You get a nice size sub for a lunch special. The employees and patrons were all very friendly. I suggest seasoning the steak as it was missing some elements. I've had their crab cake in the past and it was good. I'll give something else on the menu a try next visit! Thanks guys!

If Chipotle had a soulful, culturally rich cousin... it would be Spice Black. Period…read more I've been seeing this place all over social media, so when I found myself in the area, I had to see what the hype was about. First off, parking is easy. It's in a shopping center, so nothing stressful there, and the restaurant itself is easy to spot. Walking in, the first thing I noticed was how clean, polished, and classy everything looked. Even though it was busy, it didn't feel chaotic. The staff immediately greeted me and asked if it was my first time which I appreciated. They didn't just rush me through the line; they actually took time to explain the menu, how the bowls are built, and offered samples. That alone made the experience feel welcoming and intentional. Now let's get into the FOOD. Everything looked fresh. They have about four rice options (which is already a win), and I went with the pineapple coconut rice. For my protein, I chose grilled chicken, but they also offer shrimp, salmon, and even a mushroom option for vegetarians and honestly, the mushrooms looked so good I almost switched. For my added sides, I kept it simple because I really wanted to taste everything. Collard greens and sweet potatoes. But they also had plantains, and okra....real deal soul food options. Then you get into the fresh toppings. Slaws, carrots, pickled veggies. I kept it light. I finished my bowl with collard green pesto (which intrigued me, and I'm glad I tried it) and added an étouffée sauce over my rice... and listen!!!!! That combo? Chef's kiss. I grabbed a tropical punch juice, and just like everything else, it tasted fresh and well-made. Let me say this clearly: the food is a 10/10. If you're someone who will give Chipotle chance after chance, then you absolutely owe it to yourself to try Spice Black. 10/10. Worth your money. Worth the hype. Worth the experience.

The restaurant is nicely decorated with vibrant colors and very clean. The service is friendly and welcoming. The food was okay. Not bad and just good in my opinion. Its not rave worthy but its still good. I would come back and try other options. This is still a good healthier option oppose to the many of terrible choices we have to choose from, this beats most unhealthy fast foods restaurants. For that reason I would return to try other food options. If you like chickpeas then this is your meal, Im not so it threw off the salad to me. I would have preferred chicken. Honestly, everything came together nicely as one salad, nothing was over powering. I'm just not a fan of chickpeas. They do have an option for shrimp but dont eat bottom feeders so that wasn't an option for me. My tastebuds are much different from yours so I would still give it a try. You might like it a little more than me. Its still a fairly good meal.

The only delay we experienced was due to my own indecision between a salad and a wrap! The quality of the ingredients was top-notch. I had the Chicken Cobb salad and my wife chose the Cali BLT salad, and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. It was also great to see a steady flow of customers--some regulars and some first-timers like us. Everyone was greeted and served professionally, which speaks highly of your team. If I could offer one small constructive suggestion, it would be to provide an option to have the salad tossed before serving. The clear to-go style container creates a picture-worthy presentation, but it can make it a bit difficult to dress the salad evenly without making a mess. Overall, a very positive experience--we'll be back!

So of course we had to order the pizza. The pizza... Wow. We had the Boxhill deluxe which was everything on the pizza. Ingredients from the meats to the cheese were so fresh. The sauce was perfect for the toppings, and the CRUST... perfect amount of crust and not too thick. I never had New England pizza and never knew what it was till now. Real game changer.
