This place is near my job and I love finding new crab houses. So I decided to try them and they are now in my top 5! The crabs are always heavy and steamed to perfection! The food is good too except the crab egg roll. The staff is always friendly. They have TVs up while you wait and they have a few tables for you to sit and eat.

This crab shack recently moved from their nostalgic location to a newly built small strip mall. You don't have to look too far, as it is right down the street next to the liquor store. I loved the old location, but I know the new building gives them more space for customers. There are now tables to eat inside as while as a picnic table outside. For years, I've been coming here for crabs and deviled eggs. I also enjoy the bay box which has shrimp, wings and fries is priced great for the amount of food you receive. If you are looking for something other than crabs, the seafood box (clams, mussels and shrimp) is great for groups. Whenever I come, the staff is always helpful and kind. Call ahead for crab availability, especially on holidays and weekends!

Great steamed crabs every time! The customer service is great, and the new location looks awesome! Try the shrimp salad, too.

Seafood paradise for take out!! Wouldn't expect it to be in a old gas station, but they made it work!! Their seafood is delicious! I have order from here about four times and a family member goes once a week!! I have always ordered before hand so I could go and pick it up. Their steamed shrimp with seasoning is so darn delicious!! The large that I ordered where big and came with cooked onions as well! The crab cake meal was delicious as well!! I ordered the cucumbers tomato salad and the hush puppies and both were delicious! Love having hush puppies that are not greasy. Their crabs ( sometimes have $1 crabs) are very good as well. They will offer them with out with old bay seasoning on them. The sitting situation is they have picnic tables out front, nothing inside to sit down and eat. The employees have all been really nice when I go and pick up my order.

Finally tried Richards on a Friday and Saturday. You get the smell of seafood as you walk up to the window & they have seashells next to the sidewalk. The regulars probably know this but plan on 1.5-2 hours from order to pickup. I saw a good stream of customers when I picked up my order so it seems they stay busy. We ordered some sandwiches and sides. They didn't have bacon for the BOLT so ordered the regular Fried Oyster Sandwich. It was very good but we ordered a dozen Oysters on our second visit & this is the way to go. Oysters (seasonal) were seasoned just right, tasty & fresh. Also ordered the Ice Dock (Fried Haddock) which was gianormous! Much more fish than bread and enough for two (go with the Mini Dock). Seasoning and batter was very good. That said, we enjoyed the fish (White Fish) basket more. The batter was different and had more of a beer batter consistency. The Clam strips were also really good. They come as a side and we had 3 orders which can be an entree. We had to try the Shrimp Salad which was excellent. Many were picking up steamed crabs so next time. Overall, fresh seafood, good value for money and friendly people at the window.

I was driving around and wanted a hot meal while in Aberdeen, MD and saw a fish place listed on Google. You cannot visit MD without eating some kind of seafood, right? First, this place had (deviled) crab eggs! Who does that? They do and I ate them eggs before my meal was ready. Deviled eggs with lump crabmeat on top...woo! I ordered the shrimp and wing box with fries. They are HEAVY-HANDED with the Old Bay seasoning which can be overwhelming (salty), especially on the fries....that would be my only caution, to ask for light Old Bay (I will next time). I wished I would have found this place the first night I arrived in Aberdeen--I won't missing this spot any more. I had to follow this meal up with a small cone from Rita's! Seafood and custard for the WIN!

Equally as disappointing was the Crab Imperial, dry, not creamy. Onion rings were overly breaded and cold upon arrival. Cucumber salad, and Cole slaw were pretty good. The others liked the bread: I did not. It was warmed packaged dinner rolls IMO. Bundle all of that up at the ticket price here and it makes for 2.5*. Add in the incredibly personable and eager server Marvin, and that gets them up to 3*. Terribly disappointing meal in an inviting and clean, if not overly noisy, atmosphere.

A level up from Fast food interior. Steady around 3:30 on a Tuesday. I've seen other locations (they have a total of 7) and always thought it was just about Charbroiled Chicken but they offer so much more. The grand opening offer was for a 1/4 chicken with two sides. We got dark meat with fries and creamed spinach. Signature Chicken didn't disappoint-tender, juicy and just right seasoned. We wanted to try another dish also so we ordered the Pollo Parrilero-sides were Chaufa Rice and Red Potatoes. Boneless Chicken was grilled perfectly and if you like a strong charbroiled taste this one is for you. Long list of sides and we enjoyed all of them. Three sauces with green being the spiciest. The other two were in the Garlic and Comeback sauce neighborhood. All went well with the chicken and sides. Ordered the Tres Leches cake-although not made by them, delicious-they mentioned the Flan is house made. Tried the Inca cola for the first time. Peruvian (although bottled by Coke)-sugary and called the Champagne of Colas-one to just enjoy without reading the ingredients though. Service was friendly, upbeat and filled with hustle. We will be back to try some of their other dishes-Pasta, Subs, Wraps, Burritos and a few Seafood options.

The fish sandwich, the actual fish was delish but it was SOAKED in tartar sauce. Sandwich fell apart. Cheese is a weird thing to put on a fish sandwich, and it just didn't work. Cheese was cold and not even melted. Honestly this whole sandwich was gross. Just get a plain filet as that's the only good thing about the sandwich. The cream of crab soup was wayyyy too thick and rich. The actual crab pieces in it were delicious. The soup part was too thick, it was almost like goop consistency. Not much flavor to the actual soup. The mac shrimp salad was gross, I only had about two bites before I threw the rest away. My coworker recommended getting this, I'm not a big fan of these type of salads overall, so I'm sure that impacts my review of it. I spent about $3 on a single crab deviled egg. It was good, but a weird combo. You either tasted one or the other, but not both at the same time. The clam strips were the best part about this meal. It was $4 for a big cup full of clam strips, and there was even more strips at the bottom of the bag. The clam strips were cooked perfectly and not too chewy, and had decent size pieces. Overall, I was extremely disappointed. I WILL try this place again and get something else though. I think their actual crabs would be great, but their other food items were not my favorite. The soup was very bad, wayyyy too thick and rich and bland. The sandwich filet was actually delicious, unfortunately the excess tartar sauce and the gross cheese ruined it for me. And the salad was just not my favorite at all, but I'm sure salad lovers would like it. It was about $30 for all of this food, and most of it got thrown away.

That is worth a visit on its own. It's pretty spectacular and the drinks are great. The good news is you can get the HH without sitting at the bar. We had an Old Fashion, a Lemon Raspberry Martini, a Lemon Drop martini, a Sidecar, and a Carajillo. All were well made and delicious. The Carajillo was amazing - better than an espresso martini!! The food was wonderful. First course was the Baked Avocado, Cream of Crab soup, and the mussels which weren't on the regular menu as they were a special. The Avocado was fabulous and not too heavy. The mussels were in a delicious broth. Cream of crab was good but not worth the $21 a bowl (just average as you would get anywhere else). Second course was Filet Mignon, Shrimp and Crab, and House Made Pork Sausage Pappardelle. All were delicious and served with sides that elevated the flavors. The filet is a fav! The portions were a great dinner size and not overwhelmingly huge. We skipped dessert, but they were all great choices. We had previously had their s'mores which is a must try! They do have good coffee as well. Great location, intimate setting, nice people and a wonderful place to visit for a wonderful meal. Worth visiting. Be prepared as they are pricey (over $300 for 4 people). It's odd because their Happy Hour is just such a steal for the craft cocktails available (I guess gets you in the door). Perhaps sit at the bar for HH and just get drinks for a reasonable option. Maybe throw in a charcuterie board to snack on while enjoying the libations. For sure will be back.
