We have been going to Pats for years. However, as of the last six months or so they seem to have gone way down hill. From Pizzas that are delivered " uncut" to pizzas being carried unlevel, so all your ingredients have slid to one side of the pie, you get an unpleasant experience. It seems as of late it's impossible to get a crust that is not under cooked or rubbery. We order thin crusts which should come out firm, if not crispy, and they are terrible. Recently tried the cauliflower crust pizza and was blown away. I looked at the crust over and over again in complete disbelief. When I even mentioned trying it the hubby balked and truth be told I kind of thought it would probably be okay and nothing id actually be prompted to write a review about but whoa I was dead wrong. I still can't believe it was cauliflower. It tasted like a normal thin crust pizza it was crisp and which was surprising I would have thought it would have been kind of limp idk it cauliflower. Pat's Family Restaurant is pretty delicious. Again, I didn't know that I would be eating here until we just stopped on our way back from vacation. Staff are okay, not the friendliest. The prices are very cheap. The have a large lunch menu which is a very good deal. I had ordered the spaghetti and meatballs which was small, but quite nice. The subs are nice and large, especially the crabmeat sub. They use old bay in a lot of their food. Old bay is very delicious!!! We had ordered the old bay fries, which were okay. This restaurant is not the greatest, but serves its purpose as a good, family style restaurant. read more

5 stars for an all around great experience!! Our baseball team was in town for a tournament. We came to Pat's after a game for a team dinner. ALL 51 of us! We called about 30 minutes ahead of time and they said they could accommodate our group. We were all pleasantly surprised! You order your food at the counter and the staff brings it out. They turned the food out very, very, quickly! I'd say the entire 51 of us had our food within 15-20 minutes max. The kitchen staff executed the orders flawlessly and the service was equally as impressive! The crab dip was the best I've ever had; as was the cheesesteak. The crab cake dinner was huge and delicious as well. The portions overall were very generous and everyone raved about how great their food was. The pizza is awesome, with a little tub of garlic butter as an added bonus (ala Papa John's). I have also had their Cheese Steak, which is really, really good. My only complaint would be that it is a little short on the meat, but the taste is great. I usually pay a little more and ask for extra meat and extra cheese for a sandwich that is tops. Went here for the gluten free pizza and it was good, in fact,the best gf crust I've had from a restaurant, but a little burned around the edge. When the food was delivered, the server assured us that everything had been washed, etc. as to assure that there was no cross contamination. The service is good. The establishment is clean. Food portions are generous for the price. The nice thing about this place is that you can order any pizza available from the menu, with a gluten free crust. But, be cautious when ordering your pizza toppings. The meat-lover's pizza includes meatballs, which are made with breadcrumbs. Being prepared in a place with lots of gluten, it's risky for people with celiac disease. We have visited this place twice now, and husband thinks the crabcakes are the best in the area. Terrible. I ordered 2 grilled cheese kids meals and crab dip. The grilled cheese lacked enough cheese to call it a grilled cheese but were more like cheesy butter sponges. The crab dip...well any Maryland restaurant should be ashamed to serve this and call it crab dip. It was a $10 bowl of cheese and old bay, no crab to speak of. I couldn't eat it.
