Yes, it's a chain. And yes it's just pasta. But if you just want a nice meal at a good price you really can't beat this. Bread, salad, pasta, dessert for 2, and a drink each, $80 out the door. And there were left overs. The room is beautiful, the staff is trying, the food is fine, overall good. Have a glass of red, always creamy pesto, whatever pasta and then spend $2 to upgrade to the VHS sized tiramisu. Really hope they can continue at this quality and price. read more

My husband and I went to celebrate my birthday. I was so disappointed! They sat us in the bar. When we asked for a table in the main dining area, they got rude and said we had to wait. The food was good, but took forever. Our waiter took more time talking to the bar staff than he did paying attention to his tables. When our ice cream came, the waiter had his thumb in it! I did not touch it. On the way out we spoke to a manager and expressed how disappointed we were. She seemed like she didn't really care. We had dinner here for the first time a few weeks ago. I had requested a quiet spot to have dinner and they sat us kiddie corner to a huge group in another room. Not so quiet and the restaurant was not full. Started with an Italian Margarita and we waited a long time for it. It was meh. Hubby ordered the chicken parmesan and it came with no parmesan on top and was dry and quite bland. I ordered the wild mushroom ravioli. It was salty with not enough sauce. The sour dough bread was wonderful as was our salad. The salad was fresh with THE best pesto ranch dressing. I even purchased a pint to take home. I would say that the salad was the highlight of our meal. Ice cream came as dessert and was, well, ice cream. We probl won't visit again for some time. read more

A little over a year ago I wrote an email asking OSF to come to Eugene...and they finally did! Thanks to that email, I got invited to their dress rehearsal which was so amazing. First of all, it is so beautiful in there! They really picked the right building and then did it up right. The service was amazing, shout out Steve who made the night so much fun. We of course had to order the mizithra cheese and browned butter pasta and some tortellini. Salads were great, bread was great. Also an observation I have had at multiple OSF locations is that they have the most crisp fountain beverages, which I love! I cannot wait to be back! read more

Awww...this place brings back wonderful memories. Our family would frequent the one in Hollywood while growing up in Southern California, and I am brought back to the lively atmosphere and pasta. My brother and I used to lament over the spumoni Icecream!*#!?* What kids want to eat spumoni Icecream?! However, even seeing that on the menu at my age made me warmly reminisce to way back when. It is great comfort food--not fine Italian dining, but for a family gathering or fun get together, it is perfectly fine. We ordered the lasagna, Cesar salad, spaghetti and ravioli. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered and you can even order gluten free versions. The former Oregon Electric Station with its railroad cars is a perfect home for them and we had an awesome time. Tons of elegant ambiance and friendly atmosphere. Make sure to make reservations online. This place gets busy...and remember to pay for parking. We didn't get a ticket, but I've heard of people thinking the lot is free and getting cited. Great, accommodating staff. Most dishes run around $20. read more

Wow! Unfortunately I forgot my phone at home so I don't have any pictures, but our party of 6 had a great meal here! Service was fast and friendly, food was great, and of course the beautiful old Oregon Electric Station speaks for itself in terms of ambiance. I had the lobster and crab ravioli in a pesto sauce that was excellent--stuffed with filling and a generous portion. Two others had the garlics and shrimp fettuccine which I had a bite of as well--yum! Shrimp was cooked perfectly. Everyone else had the chicken Marsala which I didn't taste but no complaints. I love that every meal comes with a scoop of ice cream at the end too--we all had the spumoni and although it was pre-portioned and had been sitting in a freezer, it was still light and delicious. I love this place ! I have been to the location in corvallis many times and I was very excited when I learned one would be coming to Eugene. Everything from the bread to the spumoni ice cream is great. The prices are surprisingly great. The building is immaculate and feels extremely clean. The booths are super comfortable. The waitress was very nice, although she did not mention the free ice cream so I'm glad we already knew about that, otherwise we would have missed out. The pay by QR code on the receipt is interesting, but I suppose it makes it easier on the servers. The only bad part is the parking lot is not theirs so you have to pay to park, unless you will be there under 1 hour. read more

We have eaten at many OSF restaurants throughout the country and this one was by far one of the coolest looking ones. I give the inside of the building a 5 . My food was just ok here. I got the browned butter and myzithra like I always do, but this one was dry. Not much butter, so it was super dry. We were never even offered bread and no one ever brought us any. Our server was nice, but she is pretty clueless. She didn't know the answers to things on the menu . Service was slow by her as well, and this place was hardly busy. Husband and I figured we would try out this new Eugene arrival for a lunch. Seating was exceptionally dark for such a pretty space. Limited vegetarian options on menu. But what had us walking out before we even ordered was their dog policy. I love dogs, don't get me wrong, but when queried the staff said they allowed service dogs. Where to start. The atmosphere and ambiance are lovely, and you might find yourself staring at the interior of the train station as you enjoy your meal. Another great aspect of this establishment would be the service. Our waiter was a man named Neil. He was incredibly attentive and caught that they got my order wrong even before He brought it out, which shows that he pays attention, which is refreshing. All of the works/servers were attentive and kind as well from what I was able to observe. Finally, the food was amazing, and the favors of the chicken parmeasan were incrediblely well-balanced. The cheese cake was also great. It wasn't the standarded cheese cake that seems to weigh you down after you eat it. It was lighter and airyer but tasted better than any other one I've had. read more

Gorgeous space, it's a shame the food is on par with Olive Garden and Spaghetti Warehouse if that's your jam then you will love it. The service was friendly but inexperienced so don't ask any complicated question or you will get the blank stare. We tried the fettucine alfredo it was pretty bland and the pasta was overcooked, the spinach ravioli was obviously frozen as it was watery in the middle, even though the server said it was freshly made. Cheesecake and Tiramisu also tasted frozen and thawed. For what we spent I would go to some of the local Italian places where they make food from scratch with quality ingredients. We had one small issue that came up, which the staff dealt with quickly and very satisfactorily. The decor is awesome. They made a point of honoring the old Electric Station vibe, which I thought was very cool. The place is huge, with lots of different areas to eat and imbibe. If you want to be seated inside one of the railway cars, book your reservation in advance. Those are popular. The ambiance is good, but I will say that with all of the birthday celebrations, it was a little noisy from time to time. We didn't mind too much, but if you're going for a romantic dinner, tell them you want a quiet booth somewhere away from large parties and those celebrating birthdays. The food was very good. Entrées are pretty large and they come with a good sized salad, a loaf of incredible bread for the table and spumoni ice cream for dessert. I had the lasagna and a blue cheese salad, and it was easily a feast for two. Very good. Beware, the bread they give you is incredible and it's really easy to fill up on . Next time we will be sharing an entree and each get a salad and enjoy that bread and the dessert. read more

This review is for the to go orders we placed. We had a chicken piccata with pasta and the food was swimming in oil. Another chicken piccata dish with broccoli was presented the same way. There was no taste, just an unbelievable amount of oil. GWe had 3 more dishes, 2 were with cream sauce and one spaghetti marinara. There were no complaints on those dishes. Hit the restaurant a couple days after opening and celebrated my son's 34th birthday. The staff was friendly and attentive while being and place was packed. We all tried different dishes and everyone was completely satisfied including his children ages 5,4,2. Introduced the spumoni ice cream that was a hit for the young ones and was fun with staff belting out the happy birthday song along with most of the restaurant. The rest of the food was cold and tasted anything but fresh, our to-go bag was absolutely soaked in oil.. When it came to picking up our food they had no proper place so sent us around the restaurant and the second place we went to which was the large party room we got scolded at and an older gentleman ( might have been the manager) came over to us and told us we were not supposed be there right after we were told to pick up our food from that room, he has the rudest attitude with us. should not be in customer service if you are going to be that grumpy to your customers... never will be coming back, very disappointing and honestly hope they close as they do not deserve to be in such a historical building. read more
