Ate here with my mom while on a trip to Carrollton. Honestly I wasn't that impressed. It's probably a good place to order take out from but sitting inside was cold and crowded. It took 45 minutes to get our food and my mother's order was wrong and I was missing my order of fries. The girl taking my order couldn't answer my questions about the veggie burger and didn't offer to try to find the answers. The fries didn't have much flavor and were really dark and tasted a bit burnt. It just seemed like a lot of work to order what should've been a quick dinner. Maybe the restaurant was having an off day. I don't think I'd go back again but I'm not you, so don't take my word for it! I will say that the food is decent by Carrollton standards; we aren't exactly overwhelmed with choices so basically anything that isn't from a fast food chain is going to seem pretty good. But...that's the only good thing I can say. It's pretty routine for them to be out of french fries; the last 4 times we've ordered from them they've been unavailable. Getting through to place a telephone order requires multiple attempts. The line is constantly busy or you get a prerecorded message that you can order online. Don't. After you order and pay they'll call back to let you know that they're out of this, that, or the other thing! The online order offers you the option for curbside delivery and asks for the make, model and color of your vehicle and instructs you to call when you arrive for pickup. It won't work because employees do not answer ANY calls; they just let everything go through the prerecorded message. When I arrived tonight, there was one couple seated and eating and two men ordering at the counter. The place was otherwise deserted. I am physically disabled and did not expect to need to have my walker to pick up curbside delivery, but I wasn't going to get my order without going inside. When I inquired how curbside delivery was supposed to work if no one was answering phone calls, I did not receive a response. On previous visits the employees have been frazzled, impolite, and definitely let you know that you were putting them out by ordering. Oh, and there is some kind of problem with their telephone line too! It makes a loud screeching noise that makes it difficult to hear anything. It's been this way for months. It's just not worth patronizing this place--not because of the food, but because of extremely poor management and service. It's too bad, because this could actually be a thriving business with just a little normal effort. Wouldn't recommend. Won't go back! read more

Did some post Christmas rabbit hunting in Carrollton with my boyfriend and his dad. Worked up a lunch appetite and I suggested this place looked good for lunch (surrounded by chains). Was pleasantly surprised such a novel burger joint exists in this neck of the woods. Creative burger options with premium toppings. I opted for their arugula salad which was a let down due to vast amount of rotting greens. I'm guessing it's not a top seller for them. Salad was large but they needed some more toppings and fresher arugula. Boyfriend and his dad both had burgers. His dad had chili as well. Boyfriend also had fries which I tried and were good. I would recommend sticking with the burgers or perhaps going with a different salad. Would pick this place over mcdonalds across the street any day! Why would ever eat McDonald's again? I've been to many specialty burger places and this isn't the best burger I've ever eaten, but it hits one of the best price to performance ratios I've ever experienced! The meat quality is juicy and soft and thick. The toppings don't taste cheap and aren't skimped on. The fries are nice balance of soft and crispy and the flavoring choices for them is nice. The ability to buy beer is also a plus and that elevates it above the "fast food" joints but keeps it below the ultra-classy burger bar places which would over charge for the beer. I also love the variety is enough to make me want to come back, but not overwhelming like those build-your-own places. Where else can you get award winning burgers for less than $10? I don't live in the area and wish I could bring this place with me back to California! read more

It's a burger joint. A good one at that. Basically just burgers (a lot of different ways), thin cut double fried frenchfries with various seasonings, great milkshakes, and fresh salads (if you must).
