Hoodletown is not only a great place to hang out and grab drinks, but the food is always phenomenal! I would suggest grabbing a beer flight so you can taste a variety of their delicious craft selection. The wolverine tears is thick and sweet (and just feels right if you're a Buckeye.) I cannot suggest the buffalo chicken rangoons enough! And the Hoodletown pizza has such a unique and delicious flavor. The patio area is a great spot when the weather is nice. Inside, the upstairs is perfect for a quieter or more intimate spot. Service is always speedy and the servers are always friendly. If you're looking for a cozy spot to meet up with your friends, I cannot suggest Hoodletown enough! read more

Service was amazing. Prompt and friendly the food was amazing. They had several styles of beer to choose from as well.

Really enjoyed the beer selection and atmosphere here. The food was just average, but at least it was not overpriced. We happened to show up on karaoke night. Not our thing and it made it hard to have a conversation, however it seems the locals really enjoyed it so can't complain too much. Would definitely give it another try if in town. read more

Fantastic beer and food! Built inside a former warehouse along a rail line, this was the perfect place to convert into a brewery. I'm a sucker for industrial buildings made of brick. The inside is gorgeous with plenty of room to hang out and enjoy the great food and beer options. Service was super friendly and prompt. read more

Great local spot! Although the food menu is not very robust, the choices are high quality. I had a seasonal salad that was just delicious. The flat breads were spectacular according to the rest of my party, as was the burger. I had a couple different hard seltzer flavors and they both were pretty good. Grapefruit was my fave. Beautiful ambiance and not very busy on a Saturday afternoon. They were also part of the Dover chocolate walk, which was really fun. read more

Typical little brewery. Brewmaster has a well balanced palette and unique variety of tasty beers. The Storia Coffee Blonde is definitely my favorite,. We tried all of them!! My least favorite was the Hee Haw, but you'll love it if you love sour patch kids! The atmosphere is fun and vibrant with simple industrial charm. Huge garage doors open on nice days provides fantastic fresh air and sunshine! The service was outstanding:; offers for refills before glasses are empty. I am local and live only a a mile away so it is a convenient place to stop. For the last few years we've made it tradition to stop there to eat before all high school home football games.(we would come any time of the year,not just during football season). The food has always been great for us. The atmosphere is also great. The beer has always just been ok. A little more watered down than I really would like it but I can put up with that for a quick bite to eat. But some of their beers will taste completely different from the time before. Especially the Christmas ale. I liked it one year but didn't care for it the next year. I was told they do change or try to doctor up a beer but don't quote me on that. And there typically is not a head on the beer so that isn't a really great sign. But the last couple months we've been there, the beer has had little to no carbonation and has not been good. I asked for a new beer hoping it was just that one but the other beer came out just the same. So unfortunately we will not be there for a while. There are other breweries that have consistently very good beers that are not a far drive for us. read more

Hoodletown is a new brewery. It's located in Dover. This is probably one of the nicest places in town. It's not hard to be. When everything else is fast food and hillbilly bars it's actually easy. I had the Hoodle Hill Ale. It's about $5 for a pint. This is their lager style. It's not bitter or hoppy. This is crisp and smooth. It hasn't been open that long, but they already have a lot of beers. They have a few IPAs, but they also have a porter. It doesn't have a food menu. It has food trucks a lot. You can order at the bar and they'll bring it over. read more

My husband and I love coming to Hoodletown! His favorite is the Winfield Wheat. I love the Hoodletown Special Flatbread. The bacon jam added on top of the spinach artichoke dip is AMAZING! We love the atmosphere of the place and usually have a live music scene on most Saturday nights. read more

When I stopped in for a visit, this brewery had a large selection of beer to choose from. I heard that it has grown a lot since it first opened, which is wonderful news! The brewery is very neat, clean, and well organized. The bartenders are super friendly. There is both and indoor and outdoor space with seating. There is a lot of room for plenty of people. They have snack options to choose from. I liked the meat and cheese plate. They are very generous with the meat and cheese, plus I also love trail bologna. It will fill you up! I tried multiple beers in a flight, and I adored every beer I tried from a chocolate porter to a pineapple shandy. There was literally not one thing that I wouldn't have happily ordered again. We also split soft pretzels, Buffalo chicken Rangoon, and a trail and cheese plate. Everything was delicious and very fresh. The dressings even tasted homemade. I'm not expecting anyone to travel all the way out here for a superb beer but if you are anywhere close or passing by this place is a must visit. No PBR or Bud to be found which is a good thing because not only was their beer list diverse enough for everyone to find something they like (even my grandma) but everything on the list was excellent! I tried a hazy IPA, Dopplebock, Hefeweizen, Holiday Ale, and Gose and everyone was spot on. The venue is gorgeous and spacious, the staff was friendly and family run, and the beer was everything I hoped for. There is no food served but great BBQ and pizza can be ordered right to your table. This was a great discovery and will be a must visit every time I'm in the area. read more
