Just look at the reviews of Creekside at Taylor Square, a Crawford-Hoying managed (snicker)…read moreproperty. Should tell you all you need to know about the company. I'm sure they have a few folks living large but it sure isn't their residents. Shame-shame. It appears that the company's only concern is their new ventures, not maintaining what they have. Their apartment communities need so much work that if they actually did right by them they probably couldn't afford a new project. Exactly what is wrong with corporate America, not the large corporations but the small Crawford-Hoying type of glorified slum-lords with seemingly no integrity. Now, on the flip side, I can't speak about Crawford-Hoying Real Estate because I have never used them. Hopefully they do better work than the property management side.

The wrong answer is to come home off of active duty to an eviction notice, when they were alerted 30 days prior and were given a copy of my orders, I can tell you that much. And then when I furiously addressed the matter, they lied to my face. Redefines unprofessional and careless behavior towards uniformed service members. I would never recommend one of Crawford Hoying's locations to ANYONE, especially someone in the military because I would never want anyone to have to return home to an eviction notice.

We've recently moved to Columbus, Ohio from New Jersey. And we rented a property via this company…read more It's been three months so far and we are very pleasant with our choice. There were some fixes needed during our stay. The management and maintenance team responded to our requests in a very timely manner. For example, There were two ceiling fans that makes weird squeaking noises in the house. After we reported the issue they immediately contacted the property owner and brought two brand new fans for installation. No hassle, no extra charge, no back and forth arguments. We are very glad that we chose this company instead of renting from a private landlord. I think they are very professional and have a high quality of customer service.

The house was advertised to be noise-proof but I can hear the neighbor's conversations. Not to mention the sounds of their dog walking around the house. It's not the neighbor's fault-- they are just living their lives. But wow, I have lived under at least 5 different housing management teams before and it has never been this bad. Maintenance requests do not get done until couple months later, and even if they come over to fix the said problem, I can't tell that it was properly fixed. I honestly can not WAIT until I can move out of this house. EDIT: Bijan (the landlord) and I had a conversation. We came to the consensus that there was quite a bit of miscommunication on both sides of the party. Bijan definitely cares about the tenants' well-being. Once a distinct & straight-forward maintenance system is placed, I have no problems with this management company.

Choosing Kathy Butler and Partners to sell our condo was a very wise decision…read more When we decided to sell our condo, we were dreading what it would take to make it attractive to a buyer. Thirteen years of wear and tear, including several indoor cats and a smoker, had taken its toll on our place. So much so that we considered selling it as is for a fraction of what it was worth. Fortunately, I reached out to Jeremy Butler to see what we might be able to get for our place with some renovations. Jeremy and Kathy walked through our condo and pointed out what we should concentrate on updating. They then sat down with us and showed us what similar units in our area had recently sold for. They clearly spelled out what we needed to do and what we could expect them to do to help guide us through preparing our home for sale. Kathy got us in contact with a painter who did an excellent job for less than anyone I could have found on my own. Jeremy referred us to a flooring expert who came to our place, measured everything, helped us pick out new flooring and showed us how to finance the cost of the new floors with no money out-of-pocket. We received a great discount on the flooring, and we used interest-free financing that was easily paid off once we sold our home. We moved out of our condo and into a new home about an hour away while renovations were being made on the condo. Jeremy went above and beyond to make sure the updates were progressing as quickly as possible, and that any workers needing access to our condo were able to get in and out as needed. He was a professional who clearly wanted to sell our place as much as we did, and he did all that he could to ensure that we had a successful sale that benefited everyone involved. Our home received a bid for our asking price the day it went on the market, which we enthusiastically declined. It was clear the day it went on sale that the "location, location, location" gods were on our side, and that we had a very desirable end unit that was poised to do well thanks to the excitement that Jeremy created by the way he advertised it. More than 50 separate groups of potential buyers toured our home during the open house! Kathy and Jeremy kept in touch with us throughout the day, and they clearly explained all the offers that resulted from such a successfully advertised and planned presentation of our property. We ended up accepting a cash offer well above our asking price, and we were able to wrap up the entire sale quickly. We had seriously dreaded undertaking the process of selling our home; however, Kathy and Jeremy Butler helped us every step of the way and made the entire process super easy and very successful.
