Absolutely satisfied with my stay here overnight last weekend. The owner Joyce is such a polite and sweet person who truly cares about her guests. I arrived way past my check in time and she made sure that someone is still there to greet me, and so she took care of me herself (i arrived past office hours). This a small boutique hotel far from the loud and crazy (but fun) South Beach. My room smelled good and very clean when I checked in. To cap off things, I accidentally left my cute top and Joyce immediately informed me and mailed it to me. It has a cute (and clean) pool and a patio/garden. If I do visit again, I'm definitely book here again. And the best part is, they're just a block away from the beach.

Good place to lay ur head. Not fancy but comfortable. There's a bar, drink prices are over the top 13$ for a strawberry mojito.. There's a pool it's about 1 block from the beach. Not a place for a family to stay.., close to shopping and Restaurants. The check in office is in the back of the hotel... Staff courteous and they clean your room daily, fresh towels etc.

We came to eat here after a day at the beach. The staff was ok but the food was horrible. Worst quesadillas I have ever had. They arrived when we ordered the bill and they had absolutely no chicken but a lot of tomato sauce on it. Tomato sauce on a quesadilla ? Check out the picture. Would you call this a quesadilla ?

So my regular hotel was WAY overpriced for spring break so I found this place on an online booking site. I was a little apprehensive at first since I am not used to staying in non major chain hotels, but what a great experience! The lady at check in (I assume she is an owner or manager) was super nice and the property is too cute. I decided to eat at the little bar and restaurant in the hotel and it was amazing (scallops). Swanky, local, hidden. So glad my chain hotel price gauged!

From the moment we arrived with check-in, getting our bags to our room, we were treated like true VIPs. Once we got to the room, we had time to change and head to the pool. The evenings were great as we were able to sit out on the balcony and relax, while at the same time being in the lobby or hitting the restaurant was always great. We took advantage of the on-site yoga classes and the beach every day while we were there. The beach area was nice, in the servers supporting the beach I felt did their best to accommodate all of the guests outside. If you're a frequent AMEX user, I would definitely recommend going through your AMEX as it really did just make a difference. The grounds were well kept the pool was clean. The staff was friendly and most importantly, we had an overall great experience. I would definitely recommend it for anybody coming to South Beach to come here, as it's centrally located and it's easily accessible to lots of other activities you may want to consider.

I was in Miami for a day and half and wanted to soak up some sun and enjoy myself being close to restaurants and the beach . I love this boutique styled hotel and the beautiful rooms that are so beautiful with the turquoise lighting ( my favorite color). I feel safe traveling solo here and never have had any issues. I love the pool and bar area and the decor of this hotel. They offer valet parking which I didn't need as I used car service from the brightline but have always trusted my trucks with their valet attendants. I've already booked another stay for September !

I couldn't really sleep. People were still out partying at 4am. If you don't mind loud then this place is good. The view of the main road was nice, I got to people watch. They also have beach service where they bring out the chairs and have service. We didn't have time since we had to board the Royal Caribbean ship. Check out was super easy. I would recommend this place.

If you're considering booking Loews Miami Beach Hotel, do it. I was torn between this hotel and 1 Hotel South Beach, but ultimately Loews was the more cost-effective choice, and I'm so glad I chose it. Are there more families with children here? Yes. But honestly, the location, beautiful pool, and being just steps from the beach made this stay 100% worth it. The convenience and overall experience were unbeatable. A special shout-out to Caitlyn, who checked us in and went above and beyond. She was truly an A-star front desk agent -- warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. She was the cherry on top of an already incredible stay. She even went out of her way to leave us a little dessert to celebrate one of our birthdays. That level of thoughtfulness and hospitality is what makes a stay memorable. Our servers and bartenders were also polite, professional, and engaging throughout our visit. Whoever is responsible for hiring and training this team deserves recognition -- the hotel staff truly elevated the entire experience.

The hotel's interior was truly beautiful, featuring a grand fountain that used to be a centerpiece. However, the Thai hotel next door left no water for the fountain, giving it a rather dormat-like appearance. We would often venture outside to admire the hotel's beautiful garden, which was lit up with candles and had a stunning swimming pool outside the lounge bar. Unfortunately, the bar itself was too dark, leaving everything in shadow. Despite this, the rooftop restaurant served delicious Brazilian cuisine and had friendly customer service! We were glad we never stayed at the hotel only to visit when we could while we lived in Miami before we moved out of the country for great decades!

I stayed at this Marriott and generally had a good experience, but not quite a four-star one…read more The location is excellent, and the price was reasonable by luxury beachfront South of Fifth standards. The staff were generally friendly, and a few were especially helpful. They handled three packages I had shipped to the hotel efficiently, though there was a sizable per-package fee. Small touches like afternoon boozy gelato samples and a lobby change machine for breaking $20s into $5s were appreciated. Breakfast at Lolo's was decent. My Marriott status included breakfast for two, though the included menu was much shorter than the regular one and the portions were modest. Still, the food was cooked to order, tasted good, and the servers kindly let me order both breakfasts since I was traveling alone. I didn't try the Japanese restaurant on site, but I heard good things and enjoyed the neighborhood restaurants instead, especially La Grande Boucherie. I paid a substantial premium for an oceanfront double room, but I'm not sure I would do that again. The balcony and glass door were fairly small, and the balcony felt boxed in for privacy. Next time I might prefer a cheaper park-side room on a higher floor, which could still offer a nice park and ocean view. The biggest disappointment was the late checkout. My Marriott Platinum Elite status is supposed to include guaranteed 4 p.m. late checkout, but the hotel would not honor it. Each day I was told to check again later, and in the end they could only offer 1 p.m. That created real scheduling problems, since I had planned around the advertised benefit. With no good place in the hotel to work or take calls after checkout, I ended up going to the airport hours early. The status is supposed to provide a room upgrade, but that wasn't available either. A couple of other issues matched complaints I had seen in recent reviews. One elevator stopped for several minutes with a group of us inside and did not respond to the buttons, which was uncomfortable even though the door eventually opened. I also received a call inviting me downstairs for a "welcome gift," which turned out to be a Marriott Vacation Club sales pitch. That should be presented more honestly. Overall, this was a decent stay and I might return. But given the failure to honor the guaranteed 4 p.m. late checkout, I would compare other options carefully before booking again.
