The venue is located in the country so expect it to have dark roads upon leaving the Venue. The venue is located on a large amount of acres offering a modern/rustic vibe. The venue is woman-owned. Friendly staff! There is plenty of parking for guests. The wedding I attended was an outdoor ceremony followed by an indoor reception. The barn can hold a good amount of guests (my friend had around 150 or 175). The max it can hold is 200 guests. There is a covered deck area in the back of the barn perfect place for the bar. The venue offers a bridal suite, chairs, parking, tables, altar, and arch. Nice venue if you're looking for farmhouse/rustic style. Harleys Haven offers venue services for ceremonies, receptions, bridal showers, engagement party, elopement's, and rehearsal dinners. Nice setting overall. I would come back again!

My fiance and I attended a wedding here a few weeks ago. The distance from Chesapeake was under and hour, but it felt like forever. The ride home... in the dark... scary. Nevertheless, please exercise extreme caution. The venue ... a barn literally... it was cute. Did it smell... no... not sure if it's a working barn, but everything was fine. Tables were set up inside... the ceremony took place inside as well. The reception followed the ceremony... all under one roof. I understand the pricing is affordable as well. They offer overnight stays as well for a decent price. The wedding party stayed for the weekend and they enjoyed everything. Check it out... this may interest you if you are looking for this concept at an affordable price. Have fun and enjoy life :)

I also did personal training here with Sierra Meacham and for anyone looking for a personal trainer but doesn't know where to start, like I was, I highly HIGHLY recommend reaching out to Sierra even just for a talk. She helped me personal train and helped me understand meal prepping and what to look for in my foods and what I need nutrients-wise for my goal as well as my weight goals! She kept pushing me to my PRs are farther:) She is so understanding and takes every problem I had whether it was with meal-prepping or weight-lifting posture hesitancies and how to overcome. Even the ride there set the tone it was scenic & peaceful, and full of wide-open fields that felt like a refreshing change. It was the kind of drive that makes you slow down and just enjoy the moment. Once we arrived, the winery itself was stunning bold, beautiful. The wine selection was impressive, and I loved getting to explore different flavors. I figured out which wines I enjoy most, which ones aren't for me, and felt like I had a truly immersive first-time tasting experience. The staff at Summer Wind were amazing knowledgeable, friendly, and patient in answering my questions. Although I didn't get to order food this time, I saw plates coming out of the kitchen that looked absolutely delicious, so that's definitely on my list for next visit. I enjoyed myself so much that I'd love to make this a yearly tradition around this time of year. Summer Wind Winery gave me not just great wine, but a great memory, and I'll absolutely be back.

He made the experience what it was and it was so refreshing to hear from someone with his passion for the subject. Your was partially self lead and paced which we enjoyed as we had several slower walkers. Walk way was clear and easy to navigate. We liked having the Audio options at our disposal as we went along. Peaceful and enjoyable experience. Once we entered the church Brenden helped our group inside and allowed us time to look around. He was eager to answer all of our questions and customized his talk to what we were interested in. The history here is incredible and we enjoyed learning about this piece of American history. Kudos to St. Luke's for finding Brenden our group agrees he's a gem. Gift shop was cute and offered affordable options in order to be able to take a little something with to remember your day. Great details about its renovation and the original organ that is still in place. Toward the end of the tour, they play a recording of it in action, really amazing considering its age. St. Luke's is a national historic landmark, now surrounded by graves dating back centuries (but there's still room if you want in!) No longer an active church, it is a great setting for learning a bit more about the colonial era and how the local church centered the community (and how the building was designed to be bolder than every other colonial church of its time.) It's located in Isle of Wight County, Virginia, near Smithfield. Unless you are a history fanatic, it's not worth a long trip to get here just for this. But with everything that the surrounding area has to offer in the way of historical buildings, local hams, a few good restaurants, and the hint of salt in the air, this tour is a good way to top off a day trip to the area.
