Kid friendly and delicious breakfast sandwich. We had a good time enjoying the space while my little girl read books and played with the toys provided.

Nice place to study and get work done at. There's a white board in the back. I like the open space and the natural sun lighting. Also there's street parking. However when i requested an alternative bread for the breakfast sandwich i was told they're already premade.... And i got a latte and it was $9! Thats quite pricey.

Next time I'm in the area, I'm for sure stopping by here again! The staff was so friendly and there was plenty of space to sit and sip our drinks while enjoying the vibes of the spacious cafe. I was especially impressed by the diversity of the space - people all around were studying, working, chatting, and there was even a private party happening in a different room. I tried the rose latte (I'm more into sweet drinks, which there weren't a lot of options for) and it was the perfect balance of sweetness, coffee, and fragrant rose flavor that felt very authentic. My only regret is that I didn't get to try the incredibly delicious-looking baked goods like the cookie butter muffin!

Location: Coalescence is a great coffee shop located in the Ghent area of Norfolk. This is close to major hospitals and EVMS. Vibes: This coffee shop takes the cake for best lighting. There's so many windows in the building that give it this bright open space. Which is great for people who like a little sunlight when they're doing some studying or work. There's plenty of tables and space to work. There's even an updated play area for kids to entertain themselves while parents chat with a coffee. Food: They do have sandwich's aside from their coffee. Today I tried the chicken bacon ranch sandwich. In my opinion it was the most delicious sandwich I've had at a coffee shop. It was juicy, warm, and savory. It hit all my checkmarks. For a drink I ordered a seasonal coffee called the ginger bread latte. I like my coffee on the sweet side. This didn't deliver quite as well. However, I've been here before and know there are plenty of great drinks. Overall: This coffee shop checks all the boxes. Plenty of space to work, kids area, and great food and beverages.

Talk about a cool place. The inside of this place is absolutely beautiful. I went with a group of people we were doing a Saturday morning coffee crawl and walk. This place was on our list of places to go. So glad I went such an open space great for a large group to meet. Watching them make your order was like watching a scientist or chemist. I was tossed on whether or not to order a cold brew coffee or try something new It was suggested that I try the Churchill cold, and boy was it delicious I am excited to go back. They offer classes every Saturday on coffee. I have to try the class. Any excuse to go back and try they even offer food they have a large room that they rent out which would be great for small gathering or a party. If you are a coffee lover, and want to experience a different kind of coffee experience, this place is a must go.

Very cool and hip place in town for coffee! They have street parking options in the vicinity. It's a huge coffee shop with plenty of seating. They have a conference room as well for meetings. The energy and vibe was really great here. The drinks are unique . They offer miel coffee. It's bitter and needs some getting used to. It's very clean in here and it gets plenty of natural lighting. They also sell merchandise which were cool to look at.

Hands down best coffee place in the Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Pourtmouth area. Workers are very nice and coffee is next level. 10/10

Saturday 1020am dine in visit w wifey, 3.5 overall. Ran out of biscuits right when we got to register. Vanilla latte, black coffee, and breakfast sandwich $18 before tip. Sandwich dropped/finished before wife got her latte, not great; served in to go cup wo any "sorry for the delay." Fend for yourself on street parking.

Amazing spot to study and/or relax!!! Their coffee is great and they have a great variety to choose from. The baristas knew it was my first time here and they were very patient with me and explained what was on their menu, which drinks they're known for and what their recommendations were. I've been looking for a nice coffee spot to do some studying and I believe I found it! Super calm environment - calming music all around and it's not too loud and obnoxious. Everyone else in the room is studying/working too so they're pretty considerate of the environment as well. It's a spacious cafe and they even have an event room that you can reserve if you want. Be warned though, parking is atrocious (not their fault of course). Good luck trying to find street parking nearby but I'd say it's definitely worth it.

This place kills it every time. Such good vibes, good working or relaxing environment. Good music. Great and helpful staff. Great seasonal menu. The Churchill today was toppppp notch ! I could've easily had two or three of these, but it probably would've left me running around the building. I also tried the king of blue (?) which was a blueberry lemon espresso- looked like a cocktail and was also very good.

What a little gem! I was in the area and was looking for a place to get some work done and Coalescence Coffee (CC) was nearby. I had heard so much about CC, so I was excited to check it out! - Parking - Street parking. It's in an industrial area. My visit was in the morning so there were a few spaces. The neighboring businesses all seem to have their own private lots you're not competing with their patrons. - Vibe - This is the type of space I DREAMED of living in back home in Montreal, a big warehouse-type loft, high ceilings, bright, garage door (I bet it's awesome to sit by this door when they open it on nice days). The service counter is the star of the show and is located in the center of the space and seating surrounds it. It's super minimalistic and open so you can see them at work, crafting the lattes, doing pour overs etc. There are tables and chairs, bar like seating (chair height, not bar height) with stools and also a large private room in the back with more communal tables and chairs. I think they open it up to the general public when there are no "booked" events going on as I saw loner teleworkers in there during my visit. There is a nice touch of greenery all over the space with the minimalistic design. There is merch, but not cluttered. - TLC - There were two people working behind the bar during my visit. Both very warm and friendly. Made great suggestions based on my preferences. Super personable carrying on natural, easy convo, not forced. They also seem to know a lot of the patrons, so that says a lot, right? - Sips - I initially was going to go for "Treat Yo Self" which is a coffee milkshake made with Lolly's (for the out of towners, this is a local small business located in VB) ice cream. After I paid, the man who had helped me realized that they didn't receive their morning delivery, so he assisted me in making another choice. I ended up getting a Mocha with an add on of their Sugar and Spice syrup (cardamom and ginger), served hot. This worked out well anyway, because it's nicely air conditioned in there and I was a little chilly anyway! It was delicious and had a beautiful latte art on top (see pic)! I was ALMOST sad to drink it up! Almost... this drink was perfect! I loved mochas and I love the cardamom and ginger (almost like a touch of chai which I love so best of both worlds). - Noms - Almond cake - this is made with almond flour and baked in a mini bundt shape. So cute! Dusted with a bit of icing sugar. It was really nice. Kind of reminded me of a pound cake. A denser type of cake, but light at the same time. - Notes - *Perfect for teleworking/studying/me-time/etc. Wifi password is posted at the front of the service counter. Communal tables for small gatherings. There are outlets at some tables. Noise level is not bad at all *All of their syrups are house made. *All of their bites are house made as well. There is a kitchen to the side and I saw another patron's biscuit sammie going toward his table and wished I had ordered one too! I'm so happy that I finally got to check out this little gem! Can't wait to go back!

    Cortado $4
    Sabrina C.

Pretty good, but was expecting more. Service (4/5): Service was fast with minimal talking, just how I like in the mornings before coffee. It took about 10 mins to get a Cortado with Almond Milk ($4+) and a sparkling water ($4+). After paying for the sparkling water, they asked if we wanted an 10oz or 16oz... after we paid... it was odd. Beverages (3/5): the Cortado was good, wasn't expecting it to be so small since it's supposed to be a shot of espresso with equal amounts of milk. The sparkling was plain and wasn't worth the $4 I was charged. Ambiance (4/5): It gave hipster vibes. All white and black. Voices carry in there, so you can't talk much. Parking (4/5): No parking lot, but there is plenty of street parking within a 5 mins radius.

Nice place. Espresso mango was good. It was iced. My cappuccino was nice and smooth. We split a blueberry bagel. It was served with cream cheese. It was all good. Nice roomy place. Looks like an old fir station. Outside is black.

I believe this place is fairly new, because I so remember something else being in this spot some years ago. However, I could be wrong, but let's focus on present day... I was invited to a 50th birthday celebration here last Saturday. I had a general idea of where the place was located since I am sorta familiar with the area being a native and all. But we arrived close to 7pm and everything was all set up. My friend advised us to arrive at 6:45pm because it was a surprise party for her husband... so we popped in and everything was in tact. Even the workers were on their post awaiting to great the guest and provide service. I especially loved seeing this! I don't know about you, but I have been places where people are still setting up or put the early arrival guest in a waiting area until the main area is set. Well not at 757 events, they were on point!! I can be long winded when writing reviews, but I like to give yall an experience and feel how I felt when I visited. Especially, since this is the first review... This place is really all the rage!! Not too big of a event space, but just the right size to entertain a group of 100 maybe more. But a few tables were set up along with a few cocktail tables... a club lounge vibe it gave. I believe the owner decorate the spot, so my friend gave a vision and it came to life last Saturday night. Another big plus... the owner catered the event. The buffet set up is away from the party people... I loved this!!! I didn't have to worry about smelling like food or even the venue smelling like food! The bar set up... another big plus!! I believe the bartender was set up through the owner and he was on point too. Even though he was a one man show, he kept the drinks flowing... no complaints, all smiles!! Now the parking lot is rather small. I did not notice if more parking was behind the building. But if you arrive early enough no worries here, as we did. Overall, this place is gorgeous and far as I can see ran properly and with love! You can tell whoever is behind this, loves what they do. I highly recommend you look into this venue space for your party needs big or small. Take care and enjoy life :)

She is such a joy to work with. For someone like me that worries about every little detail, I felt comfortable leaving it all to her. The staff that was there on the day of my event were also very friendly and professional. We loved the bartender. Most importantly, the food was delicious. Not one complaint was given. You will not be disappointed if you book with 757 events. They handle it ALL, food, decorations, liquor, DJ if needed. My husband had the best surprise party ever. I will book here time and time again. Thank you, Karen, and your wonderful staff!

Because of that, there was a lot to do on the wedding day, and my crew simply didn't have enough time to get everything done.
