What a cute little winery! Headed here on a misty Saturday and can't wait to go on a sunny day to hang out on their large patio or greasy area overlooking the pond! Inside is quaint with a large enclosed porch with seating for about 20. Then the wine bar area has a table for about 8 and a few chairs. The staff was friendly and helpful with first timers and I ended up doing a flight-5 samples for $16-very reasonable. I enjoyed trying a variety of their wines. Husband enjoys glass, which you can buy by either a smaller pour or a large pour. We had already eaten but their food menu looked good and look forward to going back to try some of those. They have monthly events and an overall chill feel. Will be back!

Stopped at this winery while exploring Smithfield. It's small and quaint, gives a county back yard vibes. There are a few tabla inside, but a sprawling space with benches and stool outside in the lawn. There was live music, and they were dog-friendly - both are a huge plus in my book! We got one white/rose wine tasting and one red wine tasting - they were ok. But their ginger pear sangria was very tasty. We also tried their fig, pistachio, honey goat cheese with baguette, which was amazing! The season flatbread was just meh. All the staff were super friendly and helpful! We would definitely come back here when we're in the area again.

We absolutely love summerwind! We went on a rainy day and still had a great experience. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable on their different wines. Our favorite was their sangria that they home make using different fruits each week. The environment is great and we would love to go on a sunny day - they have outdoor picnic tables and cornhole. We also got a bread board which isn't pictured but was great!

Fun afternoon sitting by the fire wine tasting, charcuterie and enjoying the view. You select the wines you want to taste, build your own charcuterie board then sit back and enjoy.

My gal friends and I had a really lovely time here. We arrived shortly after they opened at noon on a Saturday. We were given menus and got to picking our wines. They have 10 or so wines total and you can inexpensively get a 5-flight of 2oz pours. Staff was great throughout and brought up napkins, little plates, serving spoons, and set up our tabs easily. It was super easy to order and pay and add stuff. The food was amazing!! The house turned winery is pretty and everything was clean and organized. There's only 1 bathroom, so you might have a wait on a busy day. The gingerbread cookie pretzels were so good. The pretzels come out warm and taste really good with the cookie bits and icing drizzle. Goes with a couple of their sweet wines. The not your aunt's fruitcake brie platter was the most interesting as it was covered in figs and dates and such with drizzle all over. It tasted amazing with red wines and good alone. The smoked salmon platter was lighter than I expected. The salmon was served cool and wasn't that Smokey. While I personally didn't like the onions, the rest all went together well. It paired ok with the reds. The burrata winter pear platter was a nice dessert, though the caramel quickly became glue. It was hard to scoop onto anything and was very sweet with the soft pears. It goes with the sweet white and the rose. I made my own charcuterie with salami, olives, sun dried tomatoes, and pimento cheese. This was SO good with the wine! They evidently recently spiced up the pimento and the oil dressing was bit spicy too. I thought the salami was a little fatty, I would have preferred a hard salami. The olives had the pits in them.

The wine, food, atmosphere, and service was excellent! My sister and I had a fantastic afternoon at SummerWind and plan to return soon. What a wonderful experience!

What a picturesque view from this winery! The sangria was actually one of the best I've had. We did their flight with a mix of white and reds and I loved them all. Choose your own boards with lots to choose from which was amazing ! Already planning our next gathering with my wine loving crew

What a very nice vineyard, wine selection is great and staff is very knowledgeable. The area is very peaceful and just welcoming, the food is great and prices across the board is very reasonable. Nothing bad to say about this place, just feels good to be here.

This place is amazing! Cozy, warm staff, wines are on the drier side which I love. Try a flight, won't be disappointed with the distinct characters each of their wines has to offer. Charcuterie boards.. yum! Fire pits fire for hanging outside in the colder days. Nice view of water and marsh land. Finish your experience with succulent mulled wine.

the burrata caprese! simple, yet elegant and had an incredible taste.

This was an amazing small winery! The food selection was so tasty and the wine was great. I highly recommend the apple cider sangria, it was by far my favorite! The vineyard is perfect for social distancing, there are a few tables inside the small house, but I suggest bringing your own chairs and finding a spot in the field! The views are beautiful, highly recommend for a family or gathering of friends.

I saw the event advertised on social media and knew I had to check it out. It's gourmet specialty hot dogs paired with a wide selection of martinis, from classics like lemon drops and cosmos to more unique options like the pickletinis and caprese tinis. I went with a couple of friends around 5:45 and it was packed, but luckily people were leaving as we arrived so we were able to grab a spot. It was a little too chilly to sit outside, but they do have additional seating and I'd definitely sit out there when it's warmer. The food was great. I got the kimchi hot dog and loved it. The brioche bun really stood out, and the chili truffle oil fries were amazing. Everything comes out on a cute little tray, which was a nice touch. For my drink, I tried the pickletini. It was good, but definitely strong, especially if you're new to martinis. One friend got the caprese-tini, which was surprisingly good and came with a caprese skewer, so you get a little snack with it. My other friend got a dirty martini, which she enjoyed, and even as someone who isn't big on olives, I thought it was pretty good. Overall, we all had a great time and will definitely be back to try more of the menu!

She was knowledgeable about the product and great with helping us make the drinks. She was also fantastic when she let my friend and I swap one of the syrups, hazelnut, for almond since we don't like hazelnut anything lol. The one sort of downside to this particular visit is it would've been nice to know they can't sell any bottles of alcohol after nine. My friends and I spent some time chatting after the class and when we went to buy some bottles, we were told we couldn't because it was after 9. Not a huge deal, but it would've been nice to know.

Great for Wine, Not for Dinner (Unfortunately) I don't know…read morewhy my Bestie and I keep doing this to ourselves -- we love Cooper's Hawk for the wine tastings, but every time we try to give dinner another chance... it ends the same way. After our tasting, we decided to sit down and order one of our longtime favorites: the short rib with mashed potatoes and vegetables. We hadn't had it in a few months because the last time was an epic fail, but we figured we'd give it another shot. As always, the pretzel bread and butter were a highlight -- that part never misses. The entrée, however, was another disappointment. The vegetables were noticeably undercooked -- still hard and crunchy -- and the dish came out with barely any sauce, even though I specifically asked for extra. For a short rib dish, you expect that rich, flavorful gravy to tie everything together... and it just wasn't there. A manager did come over after I pointed it out, and she genuinely tried to make it right, which I appreciated. We were offered another meal to take home, but at that point we were honestly just over it. To end on a positive note, I tried the Banoffee Pie for the first time (recommended by the manager), and it was actually really good -- rich, sweet, and worth trying. I also ordered their chocolate cake to go (which I usually love), but when I got home, it wasn't in the bag. I had to call for a refund, which they did handle -- but it just added to the overall frustration. At this point, it's become a pattern. When I first started coming here over a year ago, everything was consistently great. Lately, though, the dinner experience has been more miss than hit. We'll absolutely continue coming back for the wine tastings -- those are still top-tier. But for dinner? We're done trying.
