Explaining the process... very interesting for the colonial way.

Stopped in with my daughter... tried the flight was good . Also bought a bottle of the bourbon it was so good and did the tour. The guys working were great and helpful in getting my adult daughter something for her tastes. Definitely a good spot to stop in and try if in VA

We live close to the area and randomly saw this place. So we decided to stop by one day. Very quiet, small distillery. The staff was welcoming and very informative. The ambience is relaxing. We can't wait to visit again, when the weather isn't rainy so we can enjoy the outside area they have!

Truly enjoyed this hidden gem. The folks there were so kind and gave us a history lesson about our drink. We tried Paul Revere's Lantern it was delicious! Definitely a great experience. We will be back.

Such a cool and interesting local distillery that focuses on preserving American spirits techniques, specifically what was being made in the Jamestown/Williamsburg area during the colonial period. Check out the tour and then sample some drinks in the tap room!

This was our kinda place. It's not fancy, it's just good. We were recommended here by our mead tender at Silverhand Meadery and I am glad we went. The story behind them might seem a little cheesy to some, but it really is a neat beginning. Especially for you history buffs. Some of the research and work they have put is is really neat to see. Of their spirits, I was least impressed with the rum. It's not that it's bad, just...meh. Their gin is something you need to try if you are not a typical juniper berry loving gin fan. Theirs almost has more of a citrus note. Now the whiskey. The white liquor is exactly what you would expect, a sweet, corn-forward moonshine like liquor. I liked it. Their straight bourbon whiskey was easily my favorite. Very balanced and smooth for something that is fairly young by bourbon standards. I brought a bottle home. Their single malt was actually a little underwhelming to have after the bourbon, which surprised me. It was a tad harsh and just didn't have the flavor complexity I had hoped for. All good products, just my two pence worth! Kara, the bartender was great, good conversation and friendly. Stop and check them out, you won't be disappointed.

Walking in, Cara made us feel right at home with her warm welcoming smile. Tucker, our tour guide was knowledgeable and funny. What a great time. The drinks were superb and we even left with a few bottles.

Wonderful atmosphere and excellent services! I would recommend the Warrosquyoake Bourbon. It's great place to enjoy a hand crafted drink and learn about the history and techniques of distillation in the Colonial American Period.

Heard about this place from a fellow distillery that said nice things about 8 shires. We came in at 2:10pm and asked about the tour. They said the tour starts on the hour. We then asked if we could just quickly catch up to the previous tour because we didn't want to wait 50 minutes for the next one. There isn't much to do or see in the lobby/sales area. The lady said that there isn't a previous tour. We then asked then can she start a tour and just skip the first 10 minutes so she can restart on time? She said no. She did offer free tastings. We declined the tastings as we wanted to do the tour so we can learn and respect how everything tastes. Oh well, not busy at all on a friday afternoon. I can see why.

Very quaint, professional, and enjoyable place to visit and partake.

Very amiable and welcoming, this small distillery has a great atmosphere and good, honest products for adult imbibing.

Small semi-difficult to find distillery. From a whiskey guy the rum was better. I feel like they could do more with it.

Just went by to check it out and it was awful. Bartender and GM would argue and bicker. The place was dingy and was a terrible experience.

It usually takes about 5 minutes. Meanwhile, I and others are standing line waiting, waiting, waiting. The women always enter something wrong and sometimes the process needs to be restarted. When it happened the first time I waited patiently, thinking this was an exception. But when it happened again and again, I decided it wasn't worth the wait. I've stricken World Market off my list of places to shop. It's easier to just order online.

This company is the absolute worst! We ordered a futon and cushion for our daughter. The store…read morewhere we ordered it was an hour and a half away. We drove 90 minutes to pick the order up. When we arrived, the store manager explained that the only one they had was the floor model and that it was damaged, so they would have to order another. We took the cushion home and waited. Two days later, another store rep contacted us and told us that our order was in. We drove up a second time. They loaded it into our car and we drove home. When we got home, we noticed that it was damaged and was the floor model. We called the store and the apologized and said that had to order the item again. About a month later, it FINALLY came in. We drove back up with the damaged item and replaced it with the new item. The store did take off a percentage for the inconvenience. The really bad part is their awful credit card company. My wife fell for the bait and opened a credit card to get the 30% off discount. There was a lot of confusion with what we owed because of all the issues above. When she went to pay the credit card, ON THE DUE DATE, she did it in the late afternoon. Later, we found out that the credit card company charged a $30 late fee, even though she paid it ON THE DUE DATE. When she called to get the bogus fee removed, they told her the fee was because she made the payment after 5 PM and they couldn't process it until the following day. They also gave lame excuse after lame excuse for why they couldn't credit the full fee back. They offered a "one-time courtesy credit" of $15. When she elevated it to a supervisor, he wouldn't change it and said that $15 was the most they could do. They also charged another bogus $30 fee which they refused to refund. This credit card company that World Market uses is absolutely the worst, by far, that we have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Now, we have paid the card off and are trying to close the account. Even closing the account is near impossible because every representative wants to read a long-winded script on why we shouldn't close it. This is so appallingly bad, that I cannot understate how horrible this company is. We're closing the account and will NEVER shop with this company again. If the CEO of this company, Eric Hunter, ever gets this feedback and reads it, he should do the right thing and send us at minimum $45 for the returned fees, the wasted time and effort of Three 3-hour round trips, and probably about an hour of wasted time on phone calls trying to reason with mindless "service" representatives that provide zero help and can only read from infuriating scripts.

My husband ordered the steak Frites, and it was good. I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich, which is possibly the best crispy chicken sandwich I've had. The meat was extremely tender, though it seemed strange to order a crispy chicken sandwich at what seems to be a fine dining restaurant. We are coming from Dallas, so maybe this is common in Virginia. Regardless, it was yummy. We also ordered the salt cod fritters, which were very tasty and reminded me a lot of crab cakes. Due to Covid all of the staff wore masks the entire time. They also require masks when you are not sitting at your table. You are sitting behind the Williamsburg Inn, which is an historic Inn and is beautiful! Overall, the experience was wonderful. The staff was great and the ambience and view of the colonial Williamsburg Inn along with the fire pits and water fountain in the back patio area were wonderful. Originally we were seated inside a tent with clear plastic walls. We asked to be moved because the view was somewhat obstructed by the plastic, and they happily moved us. If it were cold outside, the plastic walls would be great to keep the heat in, as they had heaters throughout. But it was a beautiful 70° so we were moved outside and it was much more enjoyable. We are Happy we went. Definitely recommend for a romantic "date night".
