They are known for their Limoncello which can be used in an Lemon Drop or poured over gingerbread if that's your thing. They also have a few flavored vodkas, moonshine, whiskeys and gins. During my recent visit I tried the Yule Mule and it was delicious! I am a huge mule fan and this is the best one I had this holiday season. The mix of grapefruit, moonshine and ginger beer was very light and refreshing. The service is amazing. The owners and distillers are very friendly and knowledgeable. They don't mind sharing their "trials and errors" and no idea is too big or small when it comes to distilling. Outside of being a distillery, they also have wine, meat, cheese, smoked salmon and all things pasta that can be purchased onsite.

After having the pleasure of not only enjoying their tasting room but also hosting our event there, we now have an entirely new appreciation for what makes Virago so special. First and foremost, a HUGE shoutout to the incredible people who made our experience so memorable- Vicki, Mike, Barry, Floyd, and everyone else we interacted with were so welcoming, friendly, and genuinely enjoyable to talk to. And Cade and Miles behind the bar absolutely knocked it out of the park. They provided some of the best hospitality we could have asked for while also making some seriously delicious drinks to complement the experience. We were even lucky enough to get a tour and hear more about the history of the facility, the people behind Virago, and the mission that drives what they do. We were completely blown away. It was one of those experiences that makes you realize there is so much more behind a great product than what you see on the shelf. Working with the Virago team from start to finish was an absolute pleasure. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure our event was handled perfectly, and it showed. Every one of our guests left happy, impressed, and in great spirits. We each got a couple of drinks and we split two appetizers, and everything was very good. I opted for the Bonfire Buzz, which was one of the tastiest rum drinks I've had. It's made with spiced rum, apple cider and ginger beer, and definitely had a kick. We split the Red Eyed Goat and Finklestien's Nachos and both were really good. My other friend got the Beef on Weck sandwich with a side of mac and cheese and really enjoyed his meal. In addition to spirits and mixed drinks, they also offer beer and wine.
