I had a wonderful first experience at Trial and Error. The best part was the conversations that I had with the proprietors. It felt like a personalized experience and many of my tasting choices were based on the story behind the flavors. I will definitely be going back for more cocktails and the wonderful selections of Bombolini pasta they have. This is a great local spot!

I love Trial and Error because they are always willing to accommodate. This past weekend I was a part of a large group for a holiday bar crawl. The staff were attentive and made sure everyone had their drinks and were comfortable near the bar. While I have been participating in a dry December, I asked if a mocktail beverage could be made. My drink looked exactly like a friend's drink without the alcohol and it didn't lack in presentation. It also wasn't overly compensated with syrups and juice. I truly enjoyed my experience, and am appreciative to have had my mocktail comped as I was one of a few not indulging in alcohol. I'm looking forward to returning to sample their holiday menu when I'm done with my dry month.

Such a fun place to get cocktails. I love the name. There was a lot to choose from and the prices were reasonable

They have indoor and outdoor seating and a gender neutral bathroom. You need to be seated at a table to order. They use a table QR code online ordering system so the only time you interact with staff is when you receive your drink. Service was prompt and the drinks were all really good! All drinks are made with their vodka, besides the mocktails. A bit on the pricey side but worth it to catch up with friends in a clean, well lit, and festive environment (during the holiday pop-up). My only gripe is that I wish they had at least a few snacks or finger foods on the menu - it seemed to be entirely drinks.

It's nice that you can order a meal while you enjoy your drink. The menu has changed since my last visit, and instead of ordering at the bar, you can either order on your phone, or have your order taken by one of the waitstaff. This time I tried the So Fresh and So Clean, which reminded me of a mojito, then had a coffee martini drink special. My friend had an El Diablo mule and then a Ballast Bloody. We sat outside as it was nice weather and both enjoyed our drinks. Make sure and stop by if you're in the area.

We each got a couple of drinks and we split two appetizers, and everything was very good. I opted for the Bonfire Buzz, which was one of the tastiest rum drinks I've had. It's made with spiced rum, apple cider and ginger beer, and definitely had a kick. We split the Red Eyed Goat and Finklestien's Nachos and both were really good. My other friend got the Beef on Weck sandwich with a side of mac and cheese and really enjoyed his meal. In addition to spirits and mixed drinks, they also offer beer and wine. This a cute place that gives back to the community, and is well worth a visit.

The owner poured for us and chatted while we stood at the bar to taste; he was very friendly and answered our questions about the spirits and told us about more of the origin of the distillery. I found all of the spirits to be incredibly smooth and drinkable. I loved the apple pie moonshine, the strawberry moonshine, the bourbon, and the maple whiskey. All of the non flavored spirits were good too, and would be worth stocking the bar with: gin, vodka, whiskey, single malt! After we tasted everything we all got a cocktail to enjoy outside in the nice lawn area under an umbrella. We also took home some strawberry moonshine! Yum! It was a lovely visit, and a fun place to bring family we had visiting from Scotland. We'll visit again!

When we entered, we found the two owners, a husband and wife, talking to a group of customers. The wife said as soon as she saw our car pull in, she knew she had to come from the house next door and help her husband. They have been married for over 40 years and really should be a comedy team, very entertaining to listen to their back and forth banter! My friend opted for a Moscow Mule made with their Apple Pie moonshine (or as they call it, "Gooch Hooch"), and she said her drink was delicious. I decided to get a flight of their Apple Pie, Blueberry and Blackberry moonshine. The Apple Pie flavor was definitely my favorite, but the owners said the Lemon and Blackberry were their most popular. They also make several whiskeys, bourbon and gin for those with more adult tastes, lol! Their tasting room is on the smaller size, but is cozy and owners definitely make it entertaining. They've got great outdoor spaces for the warmer weather. My friend and I had a good time and would definitely come back.
