We are both a little surprised to see that Smokey Ros was part of a gas station, however, the gas station was very updated and the coffee shop itself was also very updated. Off to a good start so far. My husband ordered our chocolate peanut butter milk shakes. Choose surprise, they have never heard of a peanut butter chocolate milkshake! However, they did what they could and made us one. Sadly, they use chocolate ice cream and added peanut butter rather than doing the normal vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce, and peanut butter. They were a little too rich for our liking, but we really appreciated the effort. The baristas were very nice. All in all, a pretty good trip. Their honey brown sugar latte deserves special recognition. So many honey lattes either taste overly artificial or like the honey is barely there at all. Not this one. The flavors are perfectly balanced, and it's honestly one of the best coffee drinks I've ever had. I could drink gallons of it. The quality is fantastic and I've found myself thinking about that latte long after I've finished it. My only complaint is that I don't live closer. If I did, I'd probably be there every day.
