Almond pastry and latte in the courtyard

The Bakery is an amazing place to start your day! Lattes, breakfast burritos and pastries were enjoyed on a beautiful, quiet Sunday morning in the absolutely cozy courtyard. The outside space was filled with garden lights, lots of seating and clever coffee décor. The lattes were perfect, pastries were fresh and delicious! The staff was amazing and friendly and service was fast and personable. The cafe had a number of quaint gifts and local goods. Such a great place to visit for friends, family and visitors alike.

I SAW KIM!!! Anyways the food was great and the servers are great people. I go here every morning so i would be a hypocrite to say something bad about this place. The vibe is great and have a classic farm vibe. Love this place and people!

Bakery Breakfast (only avail Thur-Sun) -Biscuits, sausage patties, egg your way, topped with sausage gravy!

Cutest lil bakery in small town Iowa! We would be in the area around breakfast time and I found this place. I wish it was closer! Coffee, breakfast, lunch, bakery and ice cream! Grabbed a loaded breakfast burrito (not pictured) with salsa. This was not my breakfast of choice so I didn't try it but was informed it was reeeeaaallll good! I snuck couple bites of the pecan roll-- oh man. Sugary, sticky glaze with pecans on top of a dense but slightly soft sweet tasting baked dough. Can I just get a celebratory hand gesture for the Bakery Breakfast !?! Perfectly cooked to order egg on top of a heaping pile of flakey biscuits, not 1 but 2 thick sausage patties and creamy sausage gravy! This bad boi is enough for 2!!! My SO got a Peached Iced Tea to drink- I did taste that, perfectly peach flavor with a hint of tea! I chose the Moo Latte- white mocha with a chocolate spread mixed in, on ice. I think it was nutella or similar spread. The 2 chocolates paired well with each other, making it a slightly, not to chocolatey coffee drink. Seating available inside or on the patio to the side. Love the farming, rustic barn wood decor. The bakery case had monkey bread roll, cinnamon rolls, couple different cupcake flavor options, ect. We will have to return for their lunch sometime soon!

Panini's, Cobb salad, Caesar salad, cold brew, frappe, smoothie. Kids and adults liked everything.

Looking for a place to grab lunch while doing my civic duty I came across Petite Cafe…read more What a hidden gem of a coffee shop. I am going to say the gals name at the front was Sasha and I loved her warm welcoming energy. I got a mocha latte and it was gorgeous. The flavor was fantastic. I need a larger size of this next time. Loved the foam and deep mocha flavor was phenomenal. Made my lunch trip worth it and I knew then that the food was going to hit well. I got the BLTA and added the chicken after asking Sasha about it. She suggested adding the spicy mayo and the suggestion was spot on. What a delightful sandwich. The sourdough had a hard crust but a soft center toasted to perfection. The creamy avocado was velvet smooth mixed with the spicy mayo, crisp lettuce, juicy tomato, crispy smoky bacon, and the tender chicken was incredible flavor that left you satisfied. Just a wonderful lunch experience and then the bells starting playing the star spangled banner. Listen to my video, sorry it's short I didn't want to accidentally record someone. I feel like Sasha should have given a warning about how addictive this was, but then in away she had. She mentioned there can be a long line in the morning and I can see why that would be. I can't wait to go back and get this sandwich again. I would recommend her suggestion on the spicy mayo. Chocolate & Caramel Chunk Cookie with Sea Salt. Oh my goodness don't sleep on this cookie. Crisp edge with nice chunks of chocolate and caramel and the salt just sends it next level. Feel like I need this in a brown butter version as well. This was the trifecta of lunch- Latte, Sandwich, and Cookie. Made doing my civic duty a little better because now I had a solid lunch option and a reason to go back. I also need to try a scone when I return. I also learned they have a chicken salad sandwich on croissant so now I am trying to make it back so I can sample that. There are some really good options on the menu and they have local coffee plus everything you would expect in a gem of a coffee shop. The service was stellar and the vibe was warm and welcoming. Got a cookie for my lady so $32 I believe with $5 tip and the chicken is worth the add on. A great value for lunch with quality fresh ingredients and the cookie is large.

**A Great Time at Downtowner in Atlantic, IA!**…read more Downtowner in Atlantic, IA, was such a fantastic spot for a family meal! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, perfect for hanging out with loved ones. The food was delicious. Plus, the service was super friendly and made us feel right at home. Whether you're local or passing through, Downtowner is a must-try. We'll definitely be back for more!

Walked into the Downtowner around 8am on Saturday and the place was filled, which after talking to…read morethe waitress was normal. I just needed to put in an order to go for my mom and I before she put me to work at her office, helping her organize. She sent me on a mission for snapple diet peach tea (from the grocery store) and breakfast from here. She told me she wanted the omelette with gravy on it. So with my mission started I grabbed the tea from hyvee then headed to the downtowner. So the downtowner is on chesnut, which is like Atlantics main street area. Its cute, chic, and has the old buildings all along the street. It was easy to find parking, most everything on chestnut is closed at 8am. So it was easy to tell where the downtowner was if you didnt know where to find it. The downtowner is on the main floor of an apartment building. This apartment building looks like a 1920s hotel. The building has been taken care of and still looks like it has all of the accents. Right in the doorway of the downtowner is their daily special, and their coffee bean rug. A waitress came right up to me and asked what I would like. I told her I needed a minute though. I had never been there before but my mom had. It took me all of 4 minutes to decide and the waitress was right there to take my order. She said it would be about 15 minutes because the hashbrowns take longer. My mom wanted the downtowner omelette and I ordered the vegetatarian omelette. Both come with a side of hashbrowns and toast. We both got cheese on our hashbrowns. I told her I would wait outside the door since it was busy and there was a bench that looks like it was a church pew at one time. It took exactly 15 minutes to cook and put everything together and the waitress brought it right out to me. I paid and the total was around $18 so worth it and very comparable to Palmers breakfast on Ingersoll. The waitress even added jelly packets to the order which I was grateful for since I forgot to grab them from a table on my way out. My only dislike is that they buttered both sets of toast after they had cooled down so the butter did not really melt on it. The downtowner is also one of the few places in town that caters. If you want good food. Order from here for catering. The service staff is great, friendly, and on time. My mom has had the downtowner and hyvee both cater, and the downtowner won hands down, and I dont just mean for taste or quality of food
