We had croissant sandwiches with chicken salad mixes in the middle that were awesome. They made a lemon orzo pasta and cucumber dish with scotcheroos and cookies and a charcuterie board. We came for a private event so i'm assuming these aren't typically on the menu, however the bakery made all the food for us and if their menu tastes anything like that, i'm assuming it's wonderful! The team was super kind and considerate and everyone was going back for seconds and thirds of coffee. They have a beautiful back patio to sit on and the whole place just gave such a feeling of home and warmth. 10/10 recommend!

I've done same day pickup for cakes they have already made, but I've also ordered a few days ahead if I want to request anything particular. My absolute favorite is their chocolate mousse cake! I've gotten it for my past 2 birthdays and a few work parties as well. It's always beautifully made and has THE best taste. Not too sweet and NEVER dry. The layers keep it soft. The frappe was to die for! The Monte Cristo panini was on sourdough bread and strawberry jam, with honey ham, and provolone cheese, topped with powdered sugar. We had just come from the John Wayne Museum and I was looking for a sweet roll for my early hotel room coffee the next morning. That would be for my 5 AM wake up (home and away) to tide my over before breakfast with Dad around 8 AM. This Bakery has a lot of room and seating, and it's a bit of a walk to the counter. As we were here mid-afternoon, selection was more limited, but still tempting. I would have preferred a scone over a donut (because the former is "healthier"?), but my choice was either going to be the later with white frosting or a long john. And what I chose was delicious the next morning.

The sandwiches were fresh and tasty, The tomatoes were fresh, the lettuce (iceberg) was crisp, and the white bread was very soft. I got the Southwest Chicken with chipotle on the side. I expected a bit more zing, but it was good overall. The bag of chips was about twice the size of a 'normal' side, and the potato salad and macoroni salad were both solid. We all had the chocolate chip cookie for our 'finisher' and they were super sugary and delicious. Solid option for a Denison lunch!
